ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಮಸೂದೆಗೆ ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮಸೂದೆಗಳ ಪರವಾಗಿ 298 ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ಮಸೂದೆಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ 230 ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ 528 ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಮಸೂದೆಗಳು ಅಂಗೀಕಾರಗೊಳ್ಳಲು 352 ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಬೇಕಿತ್ತು.
