Plot Summary :
The story follows a young woman named Tasya who becomes engaged to Salim. After the engagement, Salim learns that his last living aunt has died, and he must return to his ancestral mansion to handle her funeral. Tasya later travels to the mansion as well, and soon the couple experiences disturbing visions and hauntings connected to Salim’s family history.
The spirit haunting the house belongs to Mehua, Salim’s great-grandmother. Long ago, Mehua was deeply in love and got married, but soldiers opposed her marriage because it crossed cultural backgrounds. On the wedding day, the soldiers murdered her husband and everyone present. Unable to bear the grief, Mehua took her own life. Because her body was hidden and never properly buried, her spirit remains restless, searching for her lost husband.
Tasya begins to see Mehua’s memories and eventually becomes possessed by her. A priest explains that Mehua’s soul can only be freed if her husband’s spirit is brought back and their bodies are buried together. Tasya travels into the spirit world to find him. Meanwhile, jealousy and conflict lead to violence in the real world, resulting in Salim’s death, and eventually Tasya also dies.
In the end, both Tasya and Salim die as a result of helping Mehua. Their sacrifice allows Mehua and her husband’s souls to reunite, finally giving them peace. Tasya and Salim’s spirits also remain together after death.
