00:00After the first cruise ships transited the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, following the announcement of the reopening of the

00:08first reports from Euronews journalists on the ground indicate that cruise ships that were stuck in the Gulf ports,
00:14two in Doha, of which one is owned by German-based TUI, and one in Abu Dhabi, have since prepared
00:22to depart or have left.
00:24The situation suggested an apparent sign that traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has resumed.
00:31Earlier, two Greek-operated cruise ships were identified on maritime traffic tracking apps,
00:36with a cruiser named Celestial Discovery, already crossing the Strait and Celestial Journey, leaving the port in Doha.
00:45The crossings come after Iran and the U.S. on Friday, said the strategic waterway,
00:50which has been effectively closed since the beginning of the war,
00:54will be fully open to commercial traffic for the remainder of the ceasefire.
00:59Shipping giants, however, expressed uncertainty about crossing the Strait of Hormuz,
