In Türkiye, Antalya becomes the epicenter of global politics starting this Friday with the opening of the Antalya diplomacy forum 2026. Under the theme “mapping tomorrow, managing uncertainties.” This event brings together delegations from 155 countries, including more than 20 heads of state and 50 foreign ministers.

00:11Hello from Turkey, from the city of Antalya, where the Antalya Diplomacy Forum has started on this Friday.
00:18The forum is being organized by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
00:22Therefore, the Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has held the inaugural speech of this Convention of International Dimensions.
00:31In his speech, Hakan Fidan emphasized that the chaos on the global affairs is surging from Israel's expansionism,
00:42which started in the genocide against Gaza, then continued with attacks on Syria, and then with Lebanon,
00:50and now these days with the attack on Iran.
00:53He was followed by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan,
00:57who emphasized in his speech that this aggression, which has been ignored by the so-called rules-based order,
01:06is putting the international system itself in danger.
01:11According to the Turkish President, the global system itself is being questioned more and more
01:16due to its lack of defending the most vulnerable on the planet,
01:22which are the Palestinians that are subjected to genocide.
01:27The International Diplomacy Forum of Antalya is an annual event.
01:33This year is the fifth time it is being held, and 155 countries are being represented here at this forum
01:42in the city of Antalya.
01:4421 heads of state or heads of government are here.
01:48Also, more than 60 ministers of them, 52 foreign affairs ministers are being present in this forum,
01:56which will continue three days on with different panels and forums touching on different issues.
02:04But of course, the war in West Asia is at the core of the discussions.
02:09So, there is a lot of talk on this forum already about the security architecture,
02:16which is needed to be built in West Asia after the war.
02:19This is an idea that is being discussed between Turkey, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
02:26And it's noteworthy that the Pakistani Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif, is also here at the forum,
02:32remembered that Pakistan has facilitated the talks between Iran and the United States in Islamabad recently.
02:39Besides that security architecture, there will be also forums that will be dedicated to the discussion about energy security after
02:48the war.
02:49There are different ideas being discussed here with participation also from leaders from Arab countries
02:55regarding new lines of connectivity in West Asia and securing energy supplies from the region to the rest of the
03:07world.
03:07But the war in West Asia and the West Asian situation is not what this forum is limited to.
03:15It will also discuss topics such as global reform of the multilateral system.
03:22Here, a number of African countries which are being represented here at the forum will raise their voice.
03:28Also, regarding the reform of the international economic system,
03:33forums will be held regarding strengthening regional integration instead of the global system.
03:40Also, another issue will be gender equality where panels will be held upon.
03:47So, there is a lot of discussion going on during these three days which will happen in the panels, in
03:54the forums,
03:55but also with delegations holding bilateral talks to advance their bilateral relations while here at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum,
