00:00Bill, to circle back to the whiskey and Woody Creek Distilleries, I got this text.
00:06I don't know if this is legit or not, but somebody texted in and said,
00:09Woody Creek, Colorado is also where Hunter S. Thompson was from.
00:13Is that part of the lore of the town?
00:16It is. He lived in Woody Creek.
00:18There's a famous tavern there, the Woody Creek Tavern,
00:21and there's a chair that Hunter sat in all the time, and it's revered.
00:27Yeah.
00:27Yeah, his imprint is all over Woody Creek.
00:31Interestingly, when Hunter died, he wanted to be shot off into space,
00:38and he had worked with Johnny Depp a lot,
00:41and they couldn't quite get him on a NASA spaceship,
00:45but they did get a howitzer and put his ashes in this World War II howitzer.
00:51I remember that.
00:52And they blasted it in the direction of my house.
00:58So I got involved with Woody Creek because they used one of our fields to grow these potatoes for their
01:03potato vodka.
01:04And so we like to say there's a little Hunter in every single house.
01:08Oh, that's wonderful.
01:10And talk about a legendary drinker.
01:12Oh, my goodness, man.
01:13If anyone will know.
01:14If anyone will know.
