At first glance, the new Astra presents itself as more modern, sharper, and even more distinctive, embodying further developed Opel DNA. The Opel lightning bolt, the brand emblem, sits centrally in the even slimmer and more precisely sculpted Opel Vizor – and, following its introduction in the flagship SUV Opel Grandland, it is now illuminated for the first time in the Astra. At the same time, the front design draws inspiration from the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo, thus bringing some of the features of the concept car, which was celebrated at the IAA Mobility show last fall, into production.
Furthermore, new wheel designs for the 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels are just as eye-catching as the new metallic paint finishes "Contour White" and "Clover Green." These accentuate the unique appearance in combination with the optional contrasting carbon black roof.
Furthermore, new wheel designs for the 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels are sure to turn heads, as are the new metallic paint finishes "Contour White" and "Clover Green." As a true highlight and unique in the compact class, the award-winning Intelli-Lux HD light system, with more than 50,000 elements, is available for the first time as an option for Astra drivers, illuminating the road ahead at night in a way that is perfectly suited to the situation. A pleasant "side effect": The high-resolution lighting technology not only prevents glare for other road users, but also protects the eyes of the Astra driver. The system recognizes approaching traffic signs and dims the LEDs so that the reflection of the signs does not dazzle the driver. Intelli-Lux HD is already included as standard equipment in the new top-of-the-line "Ultimate" trim level.
