00:00The next 12 weeks will be the toughest of your life.
00:03Lord Sugar is on the hunt for the next big thing.
00:07This is an opportunity of a lifetime.
00:11Battling for his backing, some of Britain's brightest prospects.
00:15Come on, boys.
00:16Look at that.
00:17Your life depends on it.
00:19And then hit him.
00:20It's a deal worth fighting for.
00:22I can sense a bit of friction, absolutely.
00:24Daniel, is that on you?
00:25No.
00:25I'm just walking around here.
00:2820 candidates.
00:28I've never been kicked in the balls by a goat, to be honest with you.
00:31Ooh.
00:3212 tough tasks.
00:34Ugh.
00:34This is a complete and utter joke.
00:37Just jump straight in.
00:39One life-changing opportunity.
00:41You're fired.
00:42You're fired.
00:43You've completely messed it up.
00:45You're fired.
00:54Previously on The Apprentice.
00:56It's going to be a long day.
00:57A long day of a good grilling.
01:00Candidates were challenged.
01:01Shall I take a seat?
01:03You can stand if you want.
01:04Business plans picked apart.
01:06Do you want my opinion on Boozy Bar?
01:08Yeah.
01:08I think it sounds like the kind of thing that my mum would get excited about.
01:11Are you joking?
01:12You want me to look at that?
01:13And in the boardroom.
01:15My advice to you is please do not give up your day job.
01:18Priyash's mobile bar ran dry.
01:21It is with regret that you're fired.
01:24Lawrence failed to seal the deal.
01:26I don't have any confidence in your business.
01:29You're fired.
01:30And Dan's plans didn't stack up.
01:33Your numbers are like a jungle.
01:35And I'm not completely sure whether you understand them yourself.
01:38You're fired.
01:40Now, Karishma and Pasha go head to head.
01:43I can't believe it.
01:544am.
01:56For the finalists.
01:58Hello?
01:59One last task.
02:01Good morning.
02:02Lord Sugar would like to meet you at the Gladstone Library in central London.
02:06The cards will be outside in 30 minutes.
02:08Gladstone Library.
02:1030 minutes.
02:12Let's go!
02:13Let's go!
02:16As the youngest here at 21, I'm sure people did underestimate me coming into this.
02:22But I've proved to everyone that I might be young, but I am here for the win.
02:27I'm so close that I cannot let this opportunity go.
02:32Business is in my blood.
02:34My dad, my granddad, my great granddad, all legendary businessmen.
02:38But I am the first businesswoman of my family.
02:40This is definitely going to be a turning point in my career.
02:43Potentially the most important 48 hours of my life.
02:47Because this could be where everything for me changes.
03:01In the heart of Westminster, the Gladstone Library, a building steeped in history and tradition.
03:26Good morning.
03:28Good morning.
03:28Good morning, Lord Sugar.
03:29Welcome to the Gladstone Library at one Whitehall place.
03:34Founded in 1892, this was a meeting place for people to make the most important decisions of the day.
03:42So it's fitting that we are here, because in a couple of days' time, I'm going to be making a
03:49very big decision of my own.
03:5120 years ago, I hired my first apprentice in this process.
03:56Someone hungry with great potential.
03:58And that's still what I'm looking for today.
04:01So for your final task, I'd like you to launch your businesses.
04:05You need to create a brand and an advertising campaign.
04:09And then you'll have to pitch to me and leading industry experts.
04:14Afterwards, we'll meet in the boardroom, where one of you will become my next business partner.
04:19Now, I don't expect you to do this alone.
04:22So I've organised a few familiar faces to help.
04:45Welcome back.
04:46Now, I've got a coin here.
04:49So heads or tails, Karishma?
04:52Tails.
04:54Unfortunately, no.
04:56Pasha, you choose your first assistant.
05:00Megan.
05:05Karishma.
05:07Rothner.
05:10I miss you.
05:12Kieran.
05:17Kerrington.
05:18Hey, girl.
05:20Hey, girl.
05:20Fuck.
05:21Levi.
05:23Well done.
05:25Lawrence.
05:28My brother.
05:32Pré, Pré.
05:35And best to a last, Vanessa.
05:39I miss you.
05:42Good.
05:43Good.
05:43Well, remember, only one of you can win my £250,000 investment.
05:49So give it everything you've got.
05:51Good luck and I'll see you in a few days' time.
05:54Off you go.
05:57Two days to prove that plans with promise can become successful start-ups.
06:02Guys, I'm so excited to see you all, honestly.
06:06Get you that win now.
06:08I know.
06:09Getting her supporters up to speed.
06:11Honestly, like, I've got my homegirls, my brother.
06:13I need you all to give me all your energy so that I can bring this home.
06:18Let's do this.
06:19Karishma.
06:21Yes, the aim of this brand is to push skincare products into the market, but the real aim
06:25is for people to actually fall in love with their skin.
06:29Skincare changed my perception of myself.
06:32When I was 18 years old, I was diagnosed with cystic acne.
06:36My reflection in the mirror was so intimidating to me, I avoided looking in a mirror for two
06:40years straight.
06:41Really nice that you can personalise it and it goes back to you.
06:44Exactly, and I think the USP is the humanisation of my brand, and I've got a degree in biomedical
06:49sciences, so I understand dermatology.
06:51We want science to be the centre of this, but I want nature to be the focus of it.
06:57I love this.
06:58Yes, sounds really good.
07:00I'm feeling so excited right now.
07:02My team has really understood the vision of my brand.
07:04They're very supportive, which makes me feel so proud to be working with them, and there's
07:09no greater feeling.
07:10I met Lord Sugar's advisors a few days ago.
07:12They said that the branding needs to be more luxury, more classy, and we need to make it
07:17look more expensive, so that's something I want everyone to keep in mind.
07:23Across the hall.
07:25My business is a recruitment company within the private healthcare sector, so I help care
07:31home managers, nursing home managers, nursery managers, basically find stuff.
07:37Putting her recruits in the picture.
07:38But there are 30,000 recruitment agencies in the UK, so what I'm here to prove to Lord
07:45Sugar is how am I standing out in such a huge market.
07:49Pasha.
07:50My USP is myself, being obviously 21, the brand name as well, my middle name is Anne, and
08:00a really popular term in the healthcare sector is on-call.
08:03So I had Anne-call.
08:08But in the interviews, Claudine did mention that when you say Anne-call, it sounds like
08:13you're Anne-call.
08:14You're Anne-call, yeah.
08:15So what I was thinking is Anne's calling, or Anne-calling.
08:21You definitely want the word Anne in there, isn't it?
08:23I like the idea of it, because it's my company, and I do want that element of me in it.
08:29Yeah.
08:32Pasha's middle name is Anne, and for some reason, she's absolutely wedded to using the
08:36name Anne as part of her brand name.
08:39I hope she drops that idea, because Anne is not relevant to Pasha, and Anne-call, well,
08:44it's one of the worst names I've ever heard.
08:46Me being that main touch of the company is what I want to keep, so Anne I do like, and
08:52I think we're going to stick with that.
08:56Me and Roth now are going to go and do the product and branding.
08:59Dividing her disciples.
09:01And the other team will be focused on the ad.
09:03Carrington, your sub-team leader, of course, as the social media buddy herself.
09:08Beauty boss, Karishma.
09:10In terms of what I want for this TV ad, what I had in my head was a visual of
09:15a girl looking
09:16in the mirror, feeling insecure.
09:18Or Lawrence, like, trying to look at his muscles in the mirror, like, thinking, why are my
09:21muscles not bigger?
09:22Then a girl thinking, my dark circles, they're so obvious.
09:25Maybe stretch marks, scarring, acne, burns, whatever.
09:28Putting more and more makeup on, trying to put more concealer on, trying to cover up everything.
09:32And then we show, bam, she falls in love with her skin.
09:34Yeah.
09:34So what we can have is a girl feeling her skin.
09:37The sun is shining.
09:38We've got really brilliant lighting on her skin.
09:40Her skin is popping.
09:41Natural skin.
09:41No makeup, guys.
09:42Okay.
09:42Maybe your skin looks juicy.
09:43If the voiceover is in a strong feminine voice, something along the lines of, be the
09:47love of your own life, fall in love with your skin, be the sun.
09:50Always remember to end it with be the sun.
09:54Karishma's incredibly passionate about her business and she really wants the team to do
09:58well with her brand.
10:00However, she hasn't given them much room.
10:02The instructions have been so specific, there may have been no old friends necessary because
10:06she could do it all by herself.
10:07I'm trusting you guys with this.
10:09I want to bring this home.
10:20And Megan, you're going to be my sub-team leader.
10:22What do you want your advert to show?
10:24Okay.
10:25So my USP is that one-on-one with the care home managers.
10:30So I had something in mind of a manager really struggling, very busy doing rotors and then
10:37us having that conversation with her.
10:40Sounds a bit boring.
10:43Well, this is about what we do.
10:46That one-on-one is very rare.
10:48Yeah, but we can have fun with this.
10:50You want people to be engaged, not go, oh, this is another TV advert which I'm going to
10:54flick over.
10:55But healthcare is a very serious market.
10:58The people I'm going to be pitching to tomorrow are not going to be watching me as a joke.
11:02They're going to be watching me as someone else.
11:04But you need to stand out.
11:06I've got some ideas.
11:09Kieran sounds like he wants to create a bit of a playful, jokey advert, but I need people
11:16to look at me and take me serious.
11:19So hopefully he understands that and he doesn't take it too far.
11:22This opportunity could literally change my life.
11:24Yeah.
11:24So it's not a joke.
11:26Please do not mess it up.
11:28I'm trusting you.
11:30I got it.
11:30Yeah.
11:31I got it.
11:31Cool.
11:32Good luck.
11:33See you later.
11:33All right.
11:37Midday.
11:38Today, half of each team will plan TV ads while the finalists build their brands.
11:46I'm so glad that you came back today.
11:48I feel like I gave the TV advert team such a clear brief and I hope that they deliver because
11:52obviously this time around I can't bring anyone back.
11:54If it messes up, it's me.
11:56It's me on the line.
12:00Back at the library.
12:01I have a lot of skills in editing, social media, so this is right up on my street.
12:05I love a bit of acting, so put me right in there as well.
12:08Look at this teamwork.
12:09This is amazing.
12:10With Karishma's campaign crew all aligned.
12:14Let me set the scene.
12:15Okay.
12:15Person in the office, super stressed, on the phone, puts the phone down.
12:20I just need some more staff.
12:23Pushing his plans for Pasha's promo, Kieran.
12:26Next thing you know, shoot to the driveway, fast car comes in.
12:31Handbrake turns on the driveway, the recruiter steps out of the car and it's almost like you're
12:36the superhero to save the day.
12:39I think that's just going to be too silly, not serious enough because it is professional.
12:44Yeah.
12:44I've got it.
12:45Guys, so we can literally come up with a map and then arrows blasting off and then like
12:50to you, you're on FaceTime, then Levi's on FaceTime.
12:53It's like, I can cover the whole of the UK.
12:55We've got to stick to what the briefest morning with Pasha, where she said it weren't
12:59a bit serious.
13:00It's private healthcare, like it's not a funny matter.
13:03So I feel like we just need to convey that message with the advert.
13:07Sorry, Kieran.
13:09Levi and Megan are playing it too safe.
13:12Everything I say is getting shut down.
13:14Pasha put me here for a reason because she knows that I'll make it stand out and she
13:17knows that it'll be a bit outrageous.
13:18She says she wants it sensible, yes, but something that makes it stand out, I don't think there's
13:23an issue with.
13:24So to start off with, we're going to have Levi, he's really stressed out.
13:27Phone down, then I walk out at door, then Kieran's asleep in his scrubs.
13:32I'm like, why can't I get good staff?
13:35That's nice.
13:35Maybe you throw the phone at me.
13:38I'm serious.
13:39This has got to be fun.
13:41No.
13:41No.
13:46Across town.
13:48Hello.
13:49Hello.
13:50Creative agency, Isabel.
13:52My mum always refers to me as diligent.
13:54So I was thinking maybe Anne's diligent staffing.
13:58Brainstorming names for her budding business.
14:01Hmm.
14:02Just sounds a bit too long for a company.
14:05Anne's calling.
14:06Anne's calling.
14:07That might sound like a call center.
14:08Pasha and Priyash.
14:10I do like the idea of Anne.
14:13Yeah.
14:14But I'm second guessing it now.
14:16I think steer away from the use of the word Anne.
14:18A lot of people won't understand it.
14:20OK.
14:21We don't have much time.
14:23Do you have any other ideas?
14:25I'm thinking as well.
14:33One-to-one care.
14:36That's more of like a tagline.
14:38Yeah.
14:39Um.
14:41Come on.
14:41Give me some buzzwords.
14:43So I can work with just words.
14:46Um.
14:49Sorry, I'm going to turn back for one second.
14:51Um.
14:57I'm feeling so stressed.
14:59It's a lot harder than I thought.
15:01But I want it to be something that I support.
15:04If I don't support the name of the brand, then it's not going to look good.
15:08So, yeah.
15:08It's a struggle.
15:10Oh, I really need to get this sorted because we haven't got it all day.
15:21Be the sun was an initial tagline for me, but I also think be the sun could be a great
15:27name.
15:27For Karishma, name ticked off.
15:30It's all about being the center of your solar system.
15:32Yeah.
15:32It's all about self-love and empowerment and being the focus of your life.
15:37And that does start with skin.
15:38Next, lay down her logo.
15:40Be the sun.
15:41You like it, Hannah?
15:43Yeah, she likes it.
15:44She likes it.
15:45She likes it.
15:45She likes it.
15:45But for a tagline, I need something that sends that message that love your skin.
15:49It's a skin love story.
15:51So, maybe a skin love story.
15:54I love a skin love story.
15:55Okay.
15:56Could I have it on the right, please?
15:58Yep, that's perfect.
15:59Could we bold and sun?
16:01Yep.
16:02If we could try this in a burgundy maroon shade, please.
16:05I love that.
16:06It gives luxury.
16:07And now what I need to add to this is an illustration of a half sun.
16:10And I want it on the edge of the end.
16:13I want the rays to be smaller.
16:15More smaller, more smaller, more smaller.
16:16Yep, perfect.
16:17Can we zoom out?
16:18Let's just see that.
16:19What do you think?
16:19I like that.
16:22My main concern is they've landed on a name which actually feels a bit more like a sun cream rather
16:27than a skincare brand.
16:28They could have gone for something a bit more obvious rather than too abstract.
16:31The sun is the main focus here.
16:34Brilliant.
16:34It stands out.
16:35It's a skin love story.
16:36Simple, effective.
16:37And clean.
16:38And clean.
16:38Luxury.
16:39I like it.
16:42Real approach recruitment.
16:44That was quite good.
16:45For Pasha and Priyash, name finally nailed.
16:49Because it is a real approach.
16:50Yeah, and it's you getting that.
16:52Yeah, I really love that one actually.
16:54Still to build a brand identity.
16:57Okay, so I want real approach to be on one line.
17:02Okay.
17:02And then I want recruitment to be underneath it.
17:04Yep.
17:04And can you put a circle around the real approach, recruitment, an oval?
17:09Like what?
17:10I quite like that.
17:11Yeah.
17:11Because this name doesn't have anything to do with care in it.
17:15Yeah.
17:15I want to have something like a little symbol, like a heart rate or something.
17:20Or like a doctor's, like a nurse outfit or something.
17:22No, not a nurse outfit.
17:25Or?
17:26Like a pacemaker machine or something.
17:30What are they called?
17:31Oh, the thing that doctors wear.
17:33Xylop, is it a...
17:34Stellar...
17:35Yeah, the scyloscopes that doctors wear, right?
17:38Slef...
17:38Slef...
17:39Sceph...
17:40Scephoscope.
17:41Scephoscope?
17:42Scephoscope.
17:45I think Pasha's forgotten that she's a young, new mover and shaker
17:49into this market.
17:50She's 21.
17:51She ought to be thinking of something exciting and fun and different.
17:56But the logo she's come up with is very generic, very boring, very vanilla.
18:02Cool.
18:03Done.
18:04It has a stethoscope on it.
18:06It looks recruitment vibe.
18:09So, yeah, I think it's the best that we could have done.
18:11In the time frame, yeah.
18:12Yeah.
18:164pm, south-west London.
18:19We're going to have three of us.
18:20It's going to be an over-the-shoulder shot into the mirror
18:23and we're all going to be looking at different imperfections
18:25or something that we're insecure about.
18:27Kicking off Karishma's commercial...
18:29So, looking at the blackheads on your nose,
18:32trying to squeeze them, look disgusted, then step back, yeah.
18:36Carrington, Lawrence and Vanessa.
18:38Scars and look distressed, do that head on the...
18:41Yeah?
18:42And then you're done.
18:44Beautiful.
18:45And let's move on.
18:47Next, we're going to put oil here.
18:48Yes, that's what I really like, essentially.
18:50OK.
18:51OK, and action.
18:54Yeah, that's nice.
18:56Yeah?
18:57Chest, yeah.
18:58Throw me the bra a little bit.
19:02Yeah.
19:04Yeah.
19:05More neck, because I think that would be nice, quite short,
19:08with a bright on your chest.
19:09Yeah, that's nice.
19:11And cut.
19:12Next.
19:13First, be mindful.
19:14My shots, should it just be about my chest?
19:17Yeah.
19:19I'm quite happy.
19:20I put my blood, sweat and tears into this and a bit of oil, too.
19:24My only concern would be that it just looked like other content
19:28that wasn't what we were assigned to do today.
19:30We've got to try and get the voiceover sorted.
19:32Vanessa, could you try something?
19:33And it's going to probably sound quite cringe when I say it.
19:35Could you do, like, a really breathy version of it?
19:37Sure.
19:38But not too sexy, because it's not that kind of movie.
19:40Yeah, action is running.
19:41Be the sun, a skin love story.
19:44Designed by nature, defined by science.
19:46I liked it.
19:47I think that's perfect.
19:51Clean beds, Carol's meds, order more bedding, send in voices.
19:57I just need more stuff.
19:59Across town.
20:00And we'll do that again, just, like, you take that post-it note off
20:04or, like, write one and, like, stick it on.
20:05Yeah, like, screw it up, throw it.
20:06No.
20:06You don't have to be too aggressive.
20:08Charged with keeping Kieran under control.
20:11I think, to gauge the audience, I think you go straight in, mental.
20:16No, just look angry.
20:17Oh, phone.
20:18Sub-team leader, Megan.
20:20Hello.
20:21Hey.
20:22How are you doing?
20:23Yeah, good.
20:24We've done the logo.
20:26So, it's real approach recruitment.
20:29Did you not go with the Anne in the end?
20:31No.
20:32It was sort of, like, nobody knows you for Anne.
20:34It doesn't say anything about the company.
20:36Cool.
20:37We're just doing the ad now, filming it.
20:39Would you like some drama in this?
20:42I just feel like it needs something.
20:44Kieran, when you say drama, make it realistic.
20:47Yeah, I'm talking, like, you could potentially, like, throw his mug on the floor in anger or something like that,
20:50just to catch...
20:51Not throwing a mug on the floor.
20:53Well, no, but you see what I mean?
20:54No, there won't be throwing a mug on the floor, because that's very unprofessional.
20:57Yeah, don't worry.
20:58Don't worry.
20:59I've got it under control.
21:00It's fine.
21:00All good.
21:01Yeah, don't worry about it.
21:02You can leave it with us.
21:03Good luck.
21:04Kieran and his ideas, I actually don't know where they come from.
21:08I just...
21:09His ideas are bonkers.
21:10Throwing a mug on the floor.
21:12Puffa bonkers.
21:14So, from that call, it does sound like Pasha wants to stick down the serious route, which I think we
21:17need to just stick with.
21:18Yeah.
21:18She's seen quite adamant on that, so I want to make sure that we stick with that.
21:21No smashing mugs on the floor.
21:23You don't want people falling asleep watching it, I said...
21:25Should we crack on with this, then?
21:26I stir it.
21:34Oh, dear, Kriyash.
21:35While Pasha shoots us short for social media.
21:39Top tip number one.
21:41Make sure you understand the job that you're applying for.
21:45In Nottingham at Boots HQ...
21:47This face mask.
21:49Brightens, tightens and fight.
21:51So it's going to be the bright, tight fight face mask.
21:54Developing a new product for her beauty brand.
21:56So, we need to think, what helps fight inflammation?
21:59Yep.
22:00What brightens the skin?
22:01And what tightens the skin?
22:03Biomedical science grad, Karishma.
22:05I'm in my element today.
22:07You're the expert, so you can teach me.
22:10Right, so I'm going to take a little sample of the face mask base.
22:15Yep.
22:15This is exciting.
22:17Bam.
22:17I want to stay away from anything that's not natural.
22:20Right.
22:20Now, hyaluronic acid for me is a big one.
22:22Something that a lot of people turn to when it's got dry skin.
22:25Okay.
22:25But also it allows skin rejuvenation.
22:28Okay.
22:28Vitamin E.
22:29This is really what accelerates that skin healing process.
22:32Oh.
22:33Love that.
22:34Aloe vera.
22:34It tightens the skin.
22:36It helps with scar healing.
22:37I think it's a great ingredient.
22:39Go for it.
22:39Bam.
22:40Jojoba oil is literally referred to as liquid gold.
22:43So, you do it.
22:43It's so healing and it's so incredible for the body.
22:46Bam.
22:46We've added quite a lot of things now.
22:48We still need to add niacinamide.
22:50It's really good for collagen production.
22:53Yep.
22:53And green tea.
22:54Oh.
22:54I'm hoping for a nice, thick, rich texture.
22:57Yes.
22:57Wow, look at that.
22:58It's got a really nice little shine to it.
23:00It actually looks luxury.
23:01Yeah.
23:03Karishma is an absolute element in there.
23:05She's a lady who knows her stuff,
23:07but let's hope she doesn't get too carried away
23:09because she's throwing everything at this.
23:11Sometimes less is more with luxury
23:13and I hope she hasn't gone too overboard.
23:15I'm so excited to pitch this.
23:16It's just when they ask you a question and say,
23:18you've got about seven solid products here.
23:20Why didn't you just go for two to three?
23:22I'm confident.
23:23This is what I'm pitching tomorrow.
23:25This is what Lord Sugar will be investing in.
23:28Okay.
23:31Can't seem to get the staff round here.
23:33Nobody's reliable.
23:34Oi, you!
23:35You're fired!
23:36Yeah, see, I like that.
23:37That was great.
23:38Ads wrapped up.
23:39That's nice.
23:40That is nice.
23:42Cut.
23:43Good stuff.
23:45Brands built.
23:46Re-approach recruitment has your back.
23:49Okay, amazing.
23:50Thank you so much.
23:51Very welcome.
23:52Thanks for your help.
23:54Tomorrow, the big pitch.
24:037 a.m.
24:04So, we came up with be the sun.
24:06You know, be the sun, be the sunshine, be the light.
24:09And our tagline being a skin love story.
24:11For both finalists.
24:12The only thing that might come up is whether it is sun cream.
24:16The important thing is here is sparking curiosity.
24:19And the more I look at it, the more I love it.
24:21The big reveal of their brands.
24:24For the logo, the brand name, the tagline,
24:27we wanted something that speaks for the company
24:29and is true to who we are
24:32and has a bit of a storyline as well.
24:39Nice.
24:40I think you've hit the right name for your recruitment.
24:43It don't pop out much.
24:46No, I didn't want it to pop out.
24:48Okey-dokees.
24:49Do you know what it is?
24:50I wanted something that I can imagine
24:51going out on leaflets, going out on flyers,
24:54being on my emails.
24:55If you see that, you know it's a recruitment company
24:58and then you've got the stethoscope
25:00that represents medical.
25:04The name, I like the name, Real Approach Recruitment.
25:06I really do, but I just think the logo,
25:09the colours didn't really pop,
25:10but I don't think it looked very professional.
25:13Oh, I'm glad you like it.
25:16On the other team...
25:17So, we were lab scientists for the day.
25:20Obviously, I've got background in biomedical science
25:22so I was back at home.
25:23She was in her element, guys.
25:25Yeah, it was fun.
25:26Presenting her product...
25:27I'm excited for you to see it.
25:29It is the Bright Tight Fight face mask.
25:32Karishma.
25:34I can really stand behind every single ingredient in here,
25:37but I want to know what you guys all think of this.
25:39I like the feeling of it.
25:40It's quite creamy and smooth.
25:41It's like a very neutral, premium smell.
25:44It doesn't feel fake.
25:45It just feels very natural.
25:47I'm a big fan.
25:48It's going to be a very effective face mask,
25:50and I believe that I can sell this today
25:51to the people at the pitch.
25:53You can sell it to me right now.
25:53So, yeah, you've already sold it to us.
25:55Yeah, I've lost it.
25:58I had such a great response from the team.
26:00I know about skincare.
26:02I know about the industry.
26:03There is a lot of pressure on me today,
26:04but I feel like if there's anyone
26:06who can sell the new era of skincare,
26:08it's me.
26:09I can see that you guys believe in me so much,
26:11and I'm very, very grateful for that energy today.
26:13We're going to crack on with this pitch.
26:15See you later, girls.
26:16See you guys.
26:17Good luck.
26:17See you later.
26:199am.
26:22As the finalists prepare for their pitches,
26:24the rest head off to edit ads.
26:28I'm going to be honest with you guys.
26:30I do this all the time.
26:31I do want help and input,
26:32but I kind of want to get it done quickly.
26:37Central London.
26:38I'm Megan.
26:39Nice to meet you.
26:40Nice to meet you, Megan.
26:40While Pasha's team perfect her ad.
26:43We're going to have Levi.
26:44He's really, like, distressed,
26:45and then we're going to cut to a scene
26:47where he's basically firing someone.
26:50Calling the shots.
26:51We can start from here,
26:52so press play and I'm telling you to stop.
26:54Carrington.
26:56And cut.
26:58OK, we'll move on to the next scene, please.
27:02Action.
27:03Why am I rubbing like that?
27:05Goodness me.
27:07Oh, God, Nessa.
27:09Just take it all out.
27:10Delete.
27:11Then we move on to me.
27:13One of myself there.
27:15Delete the other two, please.
27:17When it touches my face,
27:18can we include that bit as well?
27:20That's nice.
27:21Then the next bit is us coming out,
27:23and there's this Lawrence again.
27:26Even shorter.
27:27Shorter.
27:28Let's go on to the next, please.
27:30Myself there.
27:31Yeah, that's a nice shot.
27:33I don't know if we should use this one,
27:34because I think my one was a little bit better.
27:37I think I'm posing at the close-up shot
27:38of me doing it closer.
27:39OK.
27:40Can we put me first,
27:41and then Vanessa last?
27:43From here.
27:44All the way to there.
27:46And cut from here.
27:47Yeah, nice.
27:48And that can make the main one.
27:52Sometimes you've got to do things by yourself.
27:54I warned those two earlier
27:55that I will be bulldozing.
27:57There's a lot riding on this,
27:58and as some team need are,
27:59it is on my head.
28:00I'm here to help Karishma.
28:02I don't want no mistakes.
28:03I want it to look amazing.
28:04Be the sun,
28:06a skin of the story.
28:07That's nice.
28:09Great.
28:112pm.
28:12One Marlabo.
28:15In just two hours...
28:17Oh!
28:18Wow!
28:19..the finalists will pitch their business
28:21to Lord Sugar...
28:22Oh, I love it!
28:24..and leading industry experts.
28:27There are massive brands here.
28:29How do you feel?
28:29That's a big stage.
28:31If my dad saw me speak today,
28:33he'd be like,
28:34that's my girl.
28:35I raised her well.
28:37OK.
28:39Honestly, just seeing it now...
28:41..that I'm literally shaking.
28:43God bless it.
28:45Before they take to the stage...
28:47Yeah, I'm excited, sir.
28:48..for both teams...
28:50Oi, you!
28:50You're fired!
28:51Oh, I love that!
28:53..a chance to check out their ads.
28:55I'm excited to see it.
29:02Naturally better.
29:04Start with your skin.
29:06Be the sun.
29:07A skin love story.
29:09Designed by nature.
29:11Defined by science.
29:13I knew you liked it!
29:15Yeah!
29:16Really nice.
29:17There you go.
29:18Honestly, smashed it.
29:19I feel confident.
29:20I'm going to play that.
29:20They're going to be looking, yes.
29:21This is good.
29:23I feel like they're probably expecting
29:24a very traditional, serious pitch,
29:25but what I want to do is let my personality
29:27shine through as much as possible,
29:29come across as human, funny, charismatic,
29:33but very intelligent.
29:34She knows her stuff.
29:35I've got this.
29:36I've got this.
29:36Let's do this.
29:37You've got this.
29:37You've got this.
29:39You've got this.
29:404 p.m.
29:42Doors open to some of the biggest names
29:44from the beauty business
29:45and the world of recruitment,
29:48as well as previous winners
29:50and other legends from the last 20 years.
29:53Alan got involved in The Apprentice
29:55because he wanted to get young people
29:57interested in business.
29:59You've got to be honest
30:00and you've got to have
30:00a really good business plan
30:02and you've got to have
30:03paid attention to the detail.
30:04But always be straightforward.
30:06If you're not straight with him,
30:08you're gone.
30:09Before pitches kick off...
30:11Hello.
30:13How are you?
30:13You look gorgeous.
30:15For the finalists...
30:16Pasha.
30:17Hello.
30:18How are you doing?
30:18I'm Ricky.
30:19Nice to meet you.
30:20A last-minute pep talk.
30:23How are you feeling, more importantly?
30:26Nervous, of course.
30:27Of course, yeah.
30:28But I feel ready.
30:29Yeah.
30:29And obviously I haven't done anything like this before.
30:31Yeah.
30:32But I'm just passionate and I'm excited.
30:34Yeah.
30:34So I hope that that comes across.
30:36You've just got to make sure people know that you want it.
30:38Yeah.
30:38Like, 13, 14 years ago,
30:40I was able to do what you're doing.
30:41Which is incredible.
30:42Get your business started.
30:43And it still exists and it's growing exponentially year on year.
30:46So this will be you in 15 years' time.
30:47Yeah.
30:48It's so exciting.
30:50I've done a lot to prove myself in this process.
30:52Yeah.
30:52But now it's that final moment of putting on a show that people remember being memorable.
30:58Well, no one knows your business better than you.
31:00And this, I think, will be such a good platform to launch your business.
31:03For me, it was really life-changing.
31:05Mm-hmm.
31:06And I think for you, it'll be the same opportunity.
31:07So you've just got to stay calm and present what you know, which is your business.
31:13It's your baby.
31:13You've created it.
31:14But you're going to do really, really great.
31:16You're going to do great.
31:17We'll look out for you in the crowd.
31:18So thank you after as well.
31:20Definitely.
31:20That was so helpful.
31:21Thank you so much.
31:22Good luck, darling.
31:33First to pitch.
31:34Let's go.
31:36Pasha.
31:46Hello, everyone.
31:48It is an absolute pleasure to be here today.
31:51Now, I started in recruitment as a rookie three years ago.
31:55And three years later, I'm stood here on this stage, the youngest ever candidate to be here at 21.
32:02So it's an honour and a dream come true.
32:04My passion for the recruitment world is unlike no other.
32:08I live and breathe this job.
32:11This is very good.
32:12So let me tell you a little bit about my company.
32:17Real approach of recruitment.
32:19One-on-one support that you deserve.
32:22I am here to have that one-on-one relationship with candidates, with managers.
32:27I want them to know that I understand and I'm here to support you no matter what.
32:33Now, the market is absolutely crazy.
32:37There's 30,000 agencies in the UK.
32:40So, yes, standing out in a big crowd is going to be hard.
32:45It's definitely not going to be easy.
32:46But with my determination, my story, and what I want to communicate, we can really take this to the next
32:53set.
32:53Next, I'm going to show you my TV advert.
32:57I hope you guys enjoy.
32:59Can't seem to get the staff round here.
33:02Nobody's reliable.
33:03Oi, you!
33:03You're fired!
33:05Hi, Kieran.
33:07It's Megan from Real Approach Recruitment.
33:08Got you a job and you're going to start tomorrow.
33:10Amazing.
33:11I'll see you tomorrow.
33:13Now, everyone goes to interviews.
33:16No matter how old you are, if your first interview is at 30, it doesn't matter.
33:21I'm here to help.
33:22So, please enjoy my social media video.
33:25Top tip number one.
33:28Understand what job you are applying for.
33:31Top tip number two.
33:33Show your open to training and development.
33:36Top tip number three.
33:38Show your passion and your enthusiasm.
33:40Ready to take that first step.
33:43What are you waiting for?
33:45I hope you all enjoyed.
33:47This is a new company, but the limits and the goals are really endless.
33:51I have the success.
33:53I understand what managers are looking for.
33:56I know the demand and I have that one-on-one relationship with candidates.
34:00Thank you, everyone, and I open the floor to any questions.
34:08Hi, I'm Jordan.
34:09I'm the manager of The Side Men, the UK's biggest YouTube group with over 130 million subscribers.
34:14Social media is so important to this, I think.
34:16I think your video kind of lacked that clear context and that hook at the start.
34:20So, how are you going to make sure that your social media strategy is as engaging as it possibly can
34:24be?
34:25What I wanted to show you is just a glimpse of the potential.
34:28Initially, I want someone to watch that video and be like, she cares.
34:33And that is the ultimate goal for me.
34:35But thank you so much.
34:36No, it's a pleasure.
34:37Thank you for that.
34:38Hello, Lorraine Twist-Hayes.
34:40Well done, Pasha.
34:42That was amazing.
34:42And I particularly like your dress.
34:44So, brilliant work there.
34:47Got to look at the part.
34:48How do you think you're going to differentiate your company?
34:52Not you, because you're brilliant, but your company.
34:56So, with my company, I want that one-on-one support.
34:59I've been doing it for three years.
35:01I've never met a manager that I've dealt with, ever.
35:04Because I say to my director, let me go out to the care homes that I work with, because they'll
35:09appreciate that.
35:10They'll remember you.
35:11But that one-on-one approach is something that recruitment agencies are forgetting to do.
35:16Right now, it just feels like we are just the annoying salesperson, and I don't want that for the recruitment
35:21industry.
35:22Brilliant.
35:23Thank you, and good luck.
35:25Well, thank you so much, everyone, for your questions, your undivided time today.
35:31Good night.
35:36Oh, fuck, shit.
35:39Oh, my Lord, you smashed it.
35:41Oh, my God.
35:43You did really well.
35:43No, I'm so proud.
35:44Honestly, you did so well.
35:47Honestly, I don't know how you did that.
35:49You did so good.
35:50Honestly, I just feel that proud of you.
35:53Oh.
35:56For Lord Sugar.
35:57It was a wonderful presentation.
36:00I mean, she's 21 years old.
36:01Expert feedback.
36:03What was your impression of her?
36:04What was your impression of her?
36:05She's very passionate, wonderful personality.
36:07If she could bring recruiters in around her with that same level of passion and energy, I think she'd do
36:12really well.
36:12Drive them and motivate them.
36:14Absolutely.
36:14Yeah, yeah.
36:15I know that the market's a little bit tough at the moment.
36:18It is a challenging time in recruitment, but it will change.
36:22She's focusing on health and care.
36:24That is a huge sector, and it's going to grow because we're all getting older.
36:29And I think that, you know, she seems pretty fearless to me, so this will be a good person to
36:34back.
36:34You know, a young, energetic person to get out there and have a go.
36:37I mean, what's to lose?
36:40Next to take the stage, Karishma.
36:52Welcome, ladies and gentlemen.
36:54I want to introduce you all to Be The Sun, a skin love story.
36:59Believe it or not, that is what my skin looked like when I was 18 years old, and it completely
37:04consumed me.
37:05I had acne.
37:06I had scarring.
37:07I was so insecure, and I turned to pretty much every skincare brand out there.
37:12A lot of you are sitting in the audience here today, so thank you for supporting me on my skin
37:16journey.
37:17Unfortunately, nothing worked for too long.
37:25And then...
37:26But the one thing me and my ex have in common is that we constantly kept looking for better options
37:31in the market.
37:33Stand-up comedian.
37:35Those two girls, they don't have the same amount of confidence.
37:38This girl, she was scared, she was shy, and she believed that her skin introduced her before she could introduce
37:44herself in every room that she walked into.
37:47And that girl, well, she wears her skin like armor.
37:50She wears her skin very proud, very loud.
37:52And she stands before you today, excited to talk about the newest scientific discoveries in skincare.
38:01So I would like to introduce an advert that my team created.
38:08Naturally better.
38:11Start with your skin.
38:13Be the sun, a skin love story.
38:16Designed by nature, defined by science.
38:25So why is Be the sun different from all the other brands in this room today?
38:29As a biomedical scientist, I wanted to come up with a brand that uses very versatile products and attacks an
38:36array of situations with your skin.
38:38This is the bright, tight, and fight face mask, and you can all find it on your tables right now.
38:46So this is a great product that a genius has come up with.
38:51Woo!
38:52Woo!
38:52Woo!
38:52Woo!
38:53Woo!
38:53Woo!
38:54I would like to remind you all that my name was Krishman Vijay, and I would like to open the
38:5940 questions.
39:00Woo!
39:01Woo!
39:02Woo!
39:03Woo!
39:03Woo!
39:05Woo!
39:06Woo!
39:06Woo!
39:07Thank you so much.
39:08Wow.
39:10Krishma.
39:11Krishma.
39:12I'm Colette.
39:12I am co-founder of The Inkey List.
39:15Wow.
39:16What a story.
39:17You will go so far because you're so genuine, authentic.
39:21I really want to talk about the product, though.
39:23There is a lot of ingredients and actives in your products and a lot of benefits.
39:26How are you going to cut through?
39:28Yes, there's a lot of competition in the market.
39:30The competition is so fierce.
39:31But one thing that we can't deny is that social media will play an act in inviting those new customers
39:37in.
39:37How?
39:38How?
39:38We're going to really focus on real stories and real results.
39:41The power of social media is all about how you tell a story.
39:45And we're great storytellers here at Be The Sun.
39:47So we hope that we can do that.
39:49And I hope I answered your question.
39:51Thank you so much.
39:52Hi, I'm Alice, the director of beauty at Boots.
39:55And congratulations on such an incredible pitch.
39:57I'd really love to talk about the branding.
39:59You've talked so passionately about your skin love story.
40:02I wonder if you've got the name and the tagline the wrong way around.
40:05Like, a skin love story feels like your main story.
40:08Now, the reason Be The Sun is the name of our brand is because it is the number one message
40:13we're trying to drive forward.
40:15Being the center of your solar system.
40:17And I believe that Be The Sun resonates with men, with women, with young girls who are struggling with who
40:22they are.
40:23So that is why I wanted the name to be loud and proud, Be The Sun.
40:27Be the light of your own life.
40:29Be the love of your own life.
40:31Well, this has been absolutely fun.
40:33Such an honor.
40:34And I know there's still some questions which you can send to my assistant because I must wrap this up.
40:40But this was such an incredible opportunity standing in front of such esteemed men and women, established business people.
40:47I wish to be in your chair one day.
40:49And I hope you enjoyed my pitch.
40:54How are you?
40:55How are you?
40:57You're amazing.
40:59Personally, I feel like everyone there wants to invest in you.
41:01Honestly, Karishma.
41:02She's just obsessed with you.
41:03You're our son.
41:04You are the son.
41:07Karishma, she's an amazing young lady.
41:09What did you think of her?
41:11Honestly, I think I'll buy whatever she's selling, actually.
41:13It doesn't matter.
41:14And I'll take the skin, too.
41:16It looks great.
41:17She's not just a salesperson.
41:19I mean, she's actually got a science degree.
41:20I think the challenge for me is the beauty industry now is just so crowded and creating one viral product
41:27is easier than ever.
41:28But actually sustaining that and becoming a long-term brand is actually quite challenging because the next brand is always
41:35on your coattails.
41:36She's fantastic communication.
41:38She's fantastic from a science perspective.
41:41But the real business acumen of scaling a brand is where she's going to really need your support.
41:48This really was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I could only have seen in my wildest dreams.
41:53I think I've done everything that I possibly could have to convince Lord Sugar that I should be his next
41:59business partner.
42:01What is going on?
42:02I don't even remember what just happened in there.
42:04I just know that it was a great feeling.
42:06This pitch was everything that I could do.
42:09I'll go to the boardroom tomorrow and hopefully Lord Sugar believes the same.
42:13Tonight, there's nothing more the finalists can do.
42:18Tomorrow, the final showdown in the boardroom.
42:31How are you feeling? Are you nervous?
42:32Yeah, I am nervous.
42:33I feel like yesterday I put on this pitch and I had the whole audience laughing but it might be
42:38like,
42:38did you come here to make jokes or did you come here for business?
42:40This whole process has really built me up as a person.
42:43To try and put me on that stage week one, I would have been like, you're having a laugh.
42:48Like, I cannot do that.
42:49It comes down to today.
42:50So let's do our thing in that boardroom.
42:53Let's smash it.
42:58This is a pivotal moment.
43:00This might be the most important day of my life yet.
43:03I'm just a step away from being Lord Sugar's next business partner.
43:07So I'm going in with a fight today.
43:08I'm not going to give up this battle.
43:10I have to get that win.
43:18You can go through to the boardroom now.
43:20OK.
43:22Go on, girls.
43:22I love you.
43:24I love you.
43:24Come on, girls.
43:26Hey.
43:31We're home.
43:31We're home.
43:33We're home.
43:35We're home.
43:36We're home.
43:39We're home.
43:44Good morning.
43:45So, first of all, a thank you to some of our past candidates
43:51for assisting Pasha and Karishma.
43:55And technically, you can tell your friends,
43:59you made it in the final.
44:03LAUGHTER
44:06It's a great achievement.
44:08We could celebrate, only if someone knew someone else
44:11with a mobile bar.
44:13LAUGHTER
44:18Anyway, Pasha...
44:19Yes, or Sugar?
44:20I think you started off with a brainstorm.
44:23So, I wanted to obviously tell the guys a bit about what I do.
44:27You know, my USP is me and the passion that I have for the role.
44:31In the branding team, there was Priyash...
44:34And myself.
44:35Yourself.
44:36Right, so tell me about the logo.
44:39It was a stressful morning, to be fair,
44:42because I did go in there with a strong idea
44:44of having my middle name as the concept.
44:48And call, whatever it was called.
44:50Yeah, so we went through about 16 names.
44:52So you ended up with Real Approach Recruitment.
44:56Yeah.
44:56So I wanted the name to tell a story,
44:58because I do feel like the first thing that you hear
45:01when you hear real support is who we are.
45:03All right, then the TV advert team.
45:05Megan, sub-team leader.
45:07Yeah.
45:08And the general theme of the advert is that Levi was angry
45:14that he couldn't get any staff.
45:18Was he that angry?
45:19There was no machine there to dry your shoes or what?
45:21Yeah.
45:22LAUGHTER
45:23And sitting on the park bench was Kieran.
45:27You was a bit wooden, like the cat tree that you designed.
45:31Have you got the tree up in your living room?
45:33Yeah, I'm still having nightmares about the tree, little sugar.
45:35Yeah.
45:36Anyway, the pair of you remind me of the Chuckle Brothers.
45:42Kieran's very creative.
45:43There was a lot of ideas going on.
45:45I think if Kieran had his way, it would have been a Fast and Furious.
45:49Yeah, no, absolutely.
45:50He wanted a coffee mug being thrown on the floor.
45:52And break turns.
45:53I was just trying to add some excitement into the video,
45:57and they were some suggestions with what I had.
45:59They were crap.
46:01LAUGHTER
46:02I mean, that's great.
46:04Yeah.
46:05Anyway, you managed to rein him in on those things.
46:08Yeah.
46:09Yeah.
46:09It was a story that was done very well in 20 seconds,
46:13and I genuinely think they smashed it.
46:15It was really good.
46:16Good.
46:16So what did you all think of Pasha?
46:18She's phenomenal.
46:1921-year-old, strong, independent woman,
46:22standing around two feet and stands aground.
46:24So, yeah, she's a phenomenal woman.
46:25I just want to add as well,
46:27when you started this process 20 years ago,
46:29you really believed in people and the work ethic.
46:32And I think for what...
46:34She was one year's old.
46:35Yeah, she was.
46:36So to see what she can do at this age,
46:39to think what she can do in five years' time,
46:41ten years' time, I think it's insane.
46:44Good.
46:44OK.
46:45Now, Tim, I think you were with Charisma.
46:49I was.
46:49Yes, for sure.
46:50Let's get on to the branding, first of all.
46:53Be the sun.
46:55Immediately, I would think it's a sun cream.
46:58I don't get that.
46:59So with Be the Sun,
47:00it's more about...
47:02Everybody wants to have this sun-kissed golden glow,
47:05but we also wanted to play on the words...
47:06You mean like Donald Trump?
47:07LAUGHTER
47:09But it's more about how the sun is the centre of our solar system
47:12and people live their lives forgetting that they're the centre of their world.
47:15I love the tagline, a skin love story.
47:19I do like that.
47:20I think that's quite clever.
47:21But Be the Sun,
47:22I think as much as you are attached to that name,
47:27personally, I would say that it needs to change.
47:30Anyway, then you went to the laboratory
47:33and you knocked up your samples, yeah?
47:37Yeah.
47:37It was so fun to be back in a lab
47:39and kind of showing off my scientific knowledge as well,
47:42making a product that is very versatile,
47:44so I put as much as I could in there within the perfect valances.
47:47Well, the kitchen sink, you didn't put that in.
47:50She would have, but she could have, though.
47:53All right.
47:54Then, the advert...
47:55Who made the advert?
47:57So I directed the advert.
48:00Karishma did amazing...
48:01You wanted a quality advert, didn't you?
48:02Yeah.
48:02Yeah.
48:03She gave us the storyline in the morning,
48:06so we just developed it even more.
48:07There were a few clips we really wanted to use,
48:09but after we watched her back,
48:10we realised it was going down the route of something else.
48:12Maybe, like, I don't film it, so we decided not to use it.
48:15Yeah, so we tried our best,
48:16but I definitely think we incorporated
48:18the Be in the Sun element part of it as well.
48:20OK.
48:21I mean, it looked a bit of a quality production.
48:25I feel like they did a great job making it engaging,
48:28aesthetic, still the luxury look.
48:29I did give them really clear instructions, what I wanted,
48:32and I was very impressed.
48:34And I'd just like to add a little sugar.
48:35I've been pretty close with Karishma from the start.
48:38She's not only a great person inside,
48:40but she's a fierce and strong businesswoman,
48:43and watching her yesterday, we're the same age,
48:45but I feel like a proud mum, honestly.
48:47I really did.
48:48Just to round it off, I think Karishma is an ideal candidate.
48:51When I watch her, I'm like,
48:52I thought I was the perfect person,
48:53but when I see her, I'm like,
48:54I've got so much to do just to come like her.
48:56I want to cry right now, sorry.
48:59Good.
49:00Well, I'd like to take this opportunity now
49:02of thanking you last candidates
49:04for coming back and assisting.
49:06So, if you don't mind,
49:08I need to talk to these two people.
49:10Thank you so much for having us.
49:12I love you so much.
49:13He's got this, OK?
49:14Go win this.
49:23Well, ladies, let me say one thing.
49:27Your presentations last night were superb.
49:31Excellent.
49:32And, Pasha, you know, for a 21-year-old,
49:34it was quite amazing, really.
49:36Thank you, Lord.
49:37And, Karishma, you could have a part-time job
49:41as a comedian, I think, on the stage.
49:45It was very, very funny and very natural.
49:48Now, basically, you've got this cream
49:51that has got to be manufactured.
49:53What are you going to do with the £250,000
49:57and how are you going to make it
49:59into a multi-million-pound turnover company?
50:03So, the principle of everything that we're going to create
50:05is that we want to reduce over-consumption
50:08instead of creating four products
50:10that they then have to invest in one by one.
50:12We create one that actually covers all those grounds.
50:16Now, these are...
50:16Now, I hear all that,
50:19but in order to get volume sales for this thing,
50:23you need volume potential consumers.
50:28And your main method of selling it
50:31is going to be how?
50:33The main method would be to push it
50:35through not just e-commerce, but social media also.
50:38People like Huda Katan
50:39that have created videos for us
50:41in 24 hours had 8 million views.
50:43We had 60,000 people trying to buy the product.
50:458 million views.
50:46All these young...
50:46You youngsters, all you keep telling me about
50:48is I've got 9 million followers,
50:508 million of this.
50:52I'm only interested.
50:53Show me the money.
50:53When we launched in our first month,
50:56we did close to £12,000 in sales.
50:58Did you get repeats also?
51:00So many repeat orders.
51:01People are very much addicted to the product,
51:03addicted to the quality of the product.
51:04She hasn't got marijuana in it, has she?
51:06No, no.
51:07But we've had hundreds of orders
51:09where they haven't just repurchased one,
51:11but many.
51:13All right, well, Pasha,
51:14you're a different kettle of fish, really,
51:16in the sense that there's no hard product to touch.
51:19You're offering a service, right?
51:21Correct.
51:22So, starting from my £250,000,
51:26what are you going to do on day one?
51:28The £250,000 or sugar
51:30will go to the start-up costs.
51:33Yeah.
51:34Which would be what?
51:35So, it would be the databases,
51:36the computers, the salaries.
51:39Right.
51:39As soon as I have that set up,
51:41I could do it myself.
51:42Then I would be able to make you money
51:43from day one.
51:44Give me the list of the type of people
51:46that you place.
51:47So, you've got nurses, who else?
51:49So, it literally can be from cleaners,
51:52care assistants, team leaders.
51:54Right.
51:55So, what's the kind of commission of these people?
51:57Starting with the cleaners.
51:59So...
51:59Can't be much, can it?
52:00Lowest at 10% contract.
52:02Yeah.
52:03But this is the thing that I'm doing now
52:05when I'm pitching to Care Homes,
52:07introducing myself.
52:08I'm going in at around the 13% to 15% rate,
52:11which is a lot higher.
52:13So, starting this business,
52:15the current market that you're in at the moment,
52:17is it buoyant or is it dead?
52:19With the care home and healthcare side,
52:21I do think the market is buoyant
52:23and there is a demand.
52:24The healthcare sector is growing.
52:26It's one of the fastest growing sectors
52:27in recruitment.
52:28All right.
52:29Okay.
52:30Well, look,
52:31I think I've got a grasp
52:33of both of your business ideas.
52:36What I'd like you to do
52:37is to step outside for a while
52:39and I'll be discussing it
52:41with Baroness Brady and Tim
52:44and then I'll decide
52:46who is going to be my business partner
52:49in this 20th year.
52:51Okay?
53:02I have to say,
53:04two great finalists
53:05and thoroughly well-deserved.
53:07I mean,
53:07Karishna's got a very small business
53:09but with some grand ideas
53:11of what she wants to do
53:13and you've been in that industry.
53:15Oh, yeah, yeah.
53:15So, the perfect partner for her
53:17and Pasha has got a track record
53:19of success in her industry
53:21but has never started a business
53:22so she really needs you as well.
53:25Yeah.
53:25So, you would make an ideal partner
53:27for either of these two women.
53:29I think it's a great testament
53:32to the process.
53:3320 years and still you're able
53:34to find great individuals
53:37who really need support and mentoring
53:39in order to grow something
53:40potentially really big.
53:41In Pasha,
53:42you've got somebody with poise,
53:44real focus around their industry
53:45and in Karishma,
53:47you've got somebody with heart,
53:48yes, a bit of humour
53:49but actually huge amounts of hustle
53:51she really wants this.
53:53I think there's great potential
53:54in either one of them.
53:55It's a really difficult decision.
53:56Hmm.
54:00Yes, would you send
54:01the two of them in, please?
54:03Yes, the two.
54:05You can go through
54:05to the boardroom now.
54:08You've got this.
54:10It's all right.
54:24Well, Pasha,
54:27if you don't get the investment,
54:30what are you going to do?
54:31I'm going to do it myself
54:33and my commitment,
54:36my drive that I have
54:37for someone else's company
54:38is unbelievable
54:40and if I was doing it for myself,
54:43it would be 10 times more.
54:46I'm non-stop
54:47and that's because
54:48I believe in what I do
54:49and I'm ready to put a dent
54:50in the market
54:51and that is my ultimate goal.
54:54Right.
54:54And same question to you,
54:56Karishma.
54:56If we don't succeed in this,
54:59how are you going to move forward?
55:00Because you need a lot of money
55:02to build up inventory
55:03and stocks, don't you?
55:05So, we've already got
55:06cash flow coming in.
55:08We've got a great amount
55:08of profits already
55:09enough to invest
55:10into future products
55:11and to really build an inventory.
55:13Do you need my money then?
55:14I need your money
55:15because I want to build faster.
55:18At the moment,
55:18I can only order
55:195,000 to 10,000 units
55:21at a time
55:21and then I have to
55:22bear in mind salaries,
55:23rent,
55:24the cost of my warehouse
55:25but if I had the £250,000
55:27I could go big.
55:29Right.
55:29Lord Sugar,
55:31I'm a young woman
55:32with determination,
55:34grit and drive
55:35and I've shown
55:36what I can do.
55:37I've shown how much money
55:38I can make
55:39and it's not just about
55:40the money that you're giving me.
55:42It's about having you next to me,
55:43showing me the ropes,
55:45your experience in recruitment,
55:47you've already made
55:47a millionaire out of it
55:48and I know
55:49that if you was to have me
55:50as a business partner
55:51I can do the exact
55:52same thing for you.
55:54Mm-hmm.
55:54Lord Sugar,
55:55you've obviously been in business
55:56longer than I've been alive
55:57but this is what I was born to do.
55:59I believe that business
56:00is in my blood,
56:01it's my legacy
56:02and I know I can scale this,
56:03I know I can scale it
56:04in retailers,
56:05I know that I can scale it
56:06through social media
56:07and yesterday I showed you
56:08my personality.
56:09I'm selling my personality
56:10and who I am.
56:11Hmm.
56:13So, look, ladies,
56:15here it is.
56:20Karishma, you know
