00:01Pretty stunning autumn Melbourne morning here and a great day for a walk along the riverfront.
00:07That's exactly what they did along Birrarung Ma.
00:09They did a scar tree walk guided by members of the Koori Heritage Trust.
00:14It was not a publicly announced event.
00:17Obviously the media knew that they were coming and there were a lot of us there.
00:21They even had the chopper up at one point, which is really, really making sure that every
00:25angle was covered.
00:26But it was really interesting to see just members of the public who were walking past,
00:31riding past on one of the most popular and beautiful walking and riding trails in the
00:35cities of doing a double take, having a look, stopping.
00:39And a few of them managed to get a few selfies with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
00:44So from their point of view, it's been a pretty successful tour from a public relations, as
00:51a public relations exercise, you would have to say.
00:54It continues today, the Prince and the Duke and Duchess are off in Hawthorne at Swinburne
01:01University at the moment, attending an event on mental health engagement.
01:06That's really been one of the themes that they have hit on in their public facing events
01:10during this tour.
01:11It's been a lot of mental health.
01:13It's been a lot of community engagement.
01:14And it's been a lot of veterans welfare.
01:17Each day, there's been some kind of event where Prince Harry in particular has been meeting
01:24with the families of veterans and talking about veterans welfare.
01:29Then this afternoon, there will be probably, will be their last public event in Melbourne.
01:35The Duke will give the keynote address at a conference here in Melbourne, run by the Lifeline
01:42charity organisation, proceeds of that will go to Lifeline.
01:47We don't know what's going to be in that speech, but we'll be there to monitor it this afternoon.
01:51And that's it for Melbourne, where the couple have spent, well, the vast majority of their
01:56trip to Australia so far, certainly as far as the public facing events go.
02:01Tomorrow, it's off to Sydney.
02:02They'll be sailing Sydney Harbour once again for an event linked to veterans welfare.
02:08They'll be sailing Sydney Harbour to promote the Invictus Australia organisation.
02:13That's obviously involved with the Invictus Games, which Harry founded.
02:18He's the patron of Invictus Australia.
02:21And again, it's about an event that's using sport to help veterans recover from injuries,
02:27both mental, emotional and physical.
02:30So that will be it.
02:32As far as the public facing events go that we know of, we know that the Duchess of Sussex
02:36will be in Sydney over the weekend and she'll be the feature of her attraction at a private
02:41ticketed event at a luxury hotel, a wellness retreat.
02:46And that's about it.
