01:05When it comes to haunted locations,
01:07the Jefferson Palace Hotel in Texas ranks amongst the spookiest.
01:17The nearly 175 year old building has changed hands dozens of times.
01:23And was once a livery stable, a family's home, a brothel,
01:31and a speakeasy during prohibition.
01:35It's also where at least 30 deaths are said to have occurred.
01:40With such a long dark history,
01:43it's no surprise the hotel is said to be brimming with paranormal activity.
01:49Just ask the current owner, who not only runs it, but also lives there with his family.
02:00Who the spirits interact with nearly every day.
02:13June 2023, Jefferson, Texas.
02:19Jeremy Jones and his daughter, McKenna, are sitting in what they refer to as a disappointments room.
02:28A small, secret room in the Jefferson Palace Hotel's attic that's believed to have been used in the 1800s
02:36by a family who, to avoid shame,
02:40hit a child with a disability or disfigurement when guests came over.
02:50And while such a room is inconceivable today, Jeremy is parked here,
02:56because he thinks the room's dark history could make it the source of some paranormal activity
03:02within the building.
03:04And just moments into his vigil.
03:13My name is Jeremy, and these are my videos.
03:19As we were in there, we were hearing noises, footsteps, the usual thing we hear here at the hotel.
03:25So I decided to snap some photos.
03:30It's really dark in that disappointments room, so as I was snapping the photos, I was editing them,
03:35just making them brighter.
03:38One particular photo stood out.
03:42I kind of froze up, because I knew what I saw.
03:48And what he saw was this.
03:53It was a little boy,
03:57pushed back about five feet, coming out of the hole, which is the original entrance to the
04:03disappointments room.
04:04You know, I started getting emotional.
04:08You can see the little boy had a jacket on, buttons. The thing that really stood out to me,
04:14though, is the facial expression on the boy. It's almost like he was disfigured,
04:20which would make a lot of sense if it was in, you know, a disappointments room.
04:30This image is really impressive, in my opinion. A lot of times, you look at these so-called ghost photos,
04:38and you have to squint to try to figure out what the other person says they've captured. But in this
04:46case,
04:46this looks like a young person, likely a little boy with a cropped collar and this somewhat mournful expression.
05:01It's unmistakable. There is a image of what looks like a perhaps young boy wearing, it looks like a
05:08peacoat, right? I don't know how you can say that is not. And the face itself, I will point out,
05:16does have some kind of grotesque features.
05:21The look on the face of the boy is really kind of sorrowful.
05:29If, in fact, this is the spirit of the boy who once inhabited that bedroom in the attic,
05:35you can certainly understand why he would feel that way.
05:40My immediate thought is that his spirit stayed within this place. He was almost held into this
05:47room, not allowed to leave. So it almost seems he was a prisoner in real life. And in the spirit
05:55realm,
05:55he's also stuck in this particular room. And it seems the boy's spirit
06:02isn't the only one stuck within the hotel walls. Another day, Jeremy wakes up to find some curtains
06:09drawn across one of the hallways. But when he checks the security camera to see who pulled them closed,
06:20no one is there. And what Jeremy sees when he looks at the curtains from another camera angle
06:28is even creepier. Probably about eight feet past where the curtains got pulled, there was a shadow on the door.
06:39Well, then all of a sudden, the shadow turns into a solid figure.
06:49It almost looked like it was cloaked, and it was approximately eight feet tall.
06:59It was a shadow figure. If, in fact, this is what's known as a shadow figure,
07:02it's certainly doing just what shadow figures seem to always be doing in videos.
07:08And that is to kind of peek around from around a corner and then quickly make their exit.
07:19You would probably be not too far off if we said that is connected, whatever the shadow was,
07:25to the movement of the curtains. So you kind of have a culprit, you have an action,
07:32and it's captured from at least two different angles.
07:40When you see something like that on camera,
07:44you start to wonder, am I being watched all the time?
07:52Are there spirits everywhere, and I just can't see them, but they can see me and
07:56they're playing tricks on me?
08:01If they are, Jeremy and his family don't seem to be too bothered by them.
08:07It seems like almost every day something happens to where a normal person would come in here and be
08:14very shocked about, you know, maybe something flying off the wall or hearing a disembodied voice in the
08:21next room or a door opening and closing. Whereas, you know, that's our daily lives. And so it doesn't
08:28really shock us that much anymore. Which is good, because let's face it, they did purchase a haunted hotel.
08:45Coming up, a couple driving in California
08:48California has a close call with a ghost.
09:05Because of its sharp curves, narrow lanes, roaming wildlife, and hilly terrain,
09:16California's Highway 17 is known as one of the most dangerous freeways in the country.
09:23So much so, that locals have dubbed the road
09:28Killer 17. A nickname earned not only for the treacherous driving conditions,
09:36but also, as one couple recently discovered, for the ghosts of those who've been killed there.
09:55May 2025, outside of Santa Cruz, California.
10:02Sabrina Valderrama and CJ Esparza are traveling back home from a friend's concert.
10:09When their vehicle's navigation app takes them unexpectedly onto Highway 17.
10:20And while the unfamiliar stretch of road is a bit of a challenge for Sabrina,
10:24it seems straightforward enough. It seems straightforward enough. That is, until this happens.
10:31Watch closely.
10:38Little third?
10:40Watch again.
10:43As Sabrina and CJ cruise down 17.
10:47A figure, seemingly standing between lanes of the highway, and scaring the life
10:56out of both Sabrina and CJ.
11:00Hi, I'm Sabrina.
11:04I'm CJ.
11:05And this is our video.
11:07When we were driving downhill, we didn't realize we were like in mountain area,
11:13and up high and going downhill. Because we were unfamiliar with the road,
11:17we didn't drive it during the day when we drove up.
11:19So I'm just trying to control and just focus on coasting, realizing we're picking up speed.
11:28And when that thing appeared, I screamed.
11:34Because I don't scream. I'm not a screamer.
11:36It scared me half to death, because then my thought process is, what was that?
11:43And then, oh my god, we almost died. Because if I would have hit that person,
11:46it would have, you know, injured them, killed them. And then we could have flew off the road.
11:50Little third?
11:53But for Sabrina and CJ, perhaps the most horrifying part of the experience
11:58happens the following morning, when they check what their vehicle's side and back dash cams recorded
12:04at the time of the incident. Watch and listen very closely.
12:20While the front dash cam and Sabrina and CJ pick up a figure,
12:26the back dash cam and side dash cam capture nothing.
12:32On that back window angle, we didn't realize until later that there is a street light shining in that space.
12:40So if he were to just run towards the cliff wall, you would have been able to see something.
12:48You would have been able to see if he, like, got stuck in his footing and he went back or
12:54continued onward down the free hill.
12:56You would have been able to see it, but you don't see any of that. Which makes it really weird.
13:04This is the spooky fuel that I fill my car up with. I thrive on this kind of footage. I
13:12love it so much.
13:13It's so weird and creepy and also freaking unsettling.
13:18It looks like a fairly contemporarily dressed person.
13:22This isn't like an old timey image of a person standing in the middle of the road.
13:26It looks like it really could be a living human standing in the middle of the road,
13:33just narrowly missing being seriously injured or killed by being hit by this car.
13:40It really has me confused, right? It's semi-transparent at first,
13:44then it's solid enough that it casts a shadow, but then when you look in the rear view camera,
13:49it's gone. It's not there, sort of there, and then gone altogether.
13:54So then, if it just simply vanished, then what, exactly, was that thing?
14:02The first thought that pops in my mind is this person may be there because they were in a car
14:08accident or there was a fatality in this particular spot, and that's why they seem to be showing up or
14:13revealing themselves there. Possibly. And given the stretch of road Sabrina and CJ were driving on,
14:22that certainly makes sense. California State Route 17, or as it's better known,
14:27Killer 17 is a 27-mile stretch of road that is known to be quite treacherous because of its narrow
14:35lanes
14:35and blinds and sharp curves. History is full of stories of roadside ghosts.
14:44Ghosts who appear at the site of an accident, at the site of their own tragic accident,
14:49at the site of other accidents as warnings to forestall future accidents. This whole concept is
14:56incredibly common, something that we see worldwide. So the fact that this footage was captured on this
15:03particular road to me says 100 percent paranormal.
15:10It was in the back of my mind. I was like, oh man, I've heard this story so many times
15:13about the
15:13ghost crossing the road or I almost hit someone or, you know, but they weren't there, you know,
15:19mysteriously. But yeah, it was in the back of my mind. I definitely went there.
15:23And having done so, both CJ and Sabrina learned what they consider to be some life-changing lessons.
15:32Growing up in the Bay Area, you always heard about Highway 17, always about the watchers or the ghost
15:40stories, how, you know, so many people die on that, on that highway. I learned that all the stories of
15:47Highway 17 are real. The ghost stories are true. And if you believe in them or if you don't,
15:55you'll probably see something.
15:57And then also to be a cautious driver and, you know, pay attention to your surrounding.
16:01Absolutely.
16:02And to invest in a dash cam because you never know what you're going to catch.
16:05Yeah.
16:12Coming up, did an investigator in Tennessee.

16:20Capture an apparition standing by a tree.
16:34If, as many believe, the paranormal is always around us in one way or another,
16:42why does it seem so difficult to see it with one's own eyes?
16:51One reason could be that with so much filling our senses, we are simply too distracted to notice
17:01what's right in front of us.
17:10Don't believe it?
17:13Here's what I want to show you guys.
17:15Just ask one explorer in Tennessee.
17:18This is an abandoned farmstead. They say it's haunted.
17:21Who passed right by something that his camera couldn't miss.
17:42November 2017, just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee.
17:49Look at this.
17:51Out here in the middle of nothing.
17:53It's about 3 a.m.
17:55And John Turner is exploring a 100-year-old farm for his online followers.
18:01This is an abandoned farmstead that has been abandoned for a long time.
18:06They say it's haunted.
18:08Growing up nearby, John has heard macabre stories about the property,
18:13including someone being murdered there, and another person dying by suicide.
18:25Which has led him to believe that its haunted reputation is well-earned.
18:31My name is John, and this is my video.
18:37As I got on the property, it was just a calm stillness. You know, you kind of felt the eeriness.
18:42I attributed it to being an abandoned building setting in the woods for many years.
18:47This is actually a thriving farm at one point.
18:50I felt really at peace there, but it definitely had kind of that eerie vibe of like, you didn't feel
18:56like you were alone.
18:58And it turns out, he may not be.
19:02Because as he moves to scan the property with his camera, watch very closely.
19:16Did you see it?
19:19Watch again, as John's camera picks up what appears to be
19:25an apparition of a woman with long, dark hair standing next to a tree.
19:32Which John doesn't notice until he posts it online, and one of his eagle-eyed viewers points it out.
19:41I got a message from someone saying, hey, at this timestamp, there's something weird in the background.
19:47It looks like a woman.
19:51Sure enough, as you slow it down and freeze it,
19:54there is an apparition of a woman standing there watching me, essentially.
20:00And I realized when I was looking at it, I kind of put chills on it because I didn't even
20:04see it.
20:08When you kind of hone in on that moment and you freeze on this apparition of a woman,
20:13it's almost kind of phantom-esque.
20:15And one thing that really unnerves me about this is the way she's kind of positioned,
20:22the way she's standing kind of in this bent neck and straight body.
20:32It almost is reminiscent of when somebody, you know, has hanged themselves.
20:41It's very unnerving.
20:44It's a solid full-bodied apparition.
20:47It seemed to be glowing in its own kind of ethereal light, comparatively speaking,
20:55to like the rest of the things that he was shooting.
21:08The fact that he didn't see it until he played it back later.
21:12You would think a white-clad, jet-black-haired figure. You would see this.
21:21This happens a lot. We still don't know why sometimes we don't catch things with our eyes,
21:27or our senses, but our devices do.
21:34A lot more foliage in here since the last time I was here.
21:38Blown away by the possibility he crossed paths with a spirit,
21:42John returns to the farmstead later to see if something else could have been mistaken for the apparition.
21:49Okay, so we're here at the tree.
21:53I searched the place high and low. I set up exactly the way I was in the daytime.
21:59You see that tree right here.
22:01I waited till dark and did the exact same movements I did to try to recreate this moment.
22:07I explored the area around the tree where you see the figure.
22:10So I started here, and I just kind of panned around.
22:14And could not create it or find anything that would have caused that apparition to be there.
22:23So, if there is no natural explanation for it, who or what was out there with John that night?
22:32You know, a lot of these locations, even though there's no longer human activity or anybody living there,
22:38they do have some sort of energy or memory from when someone was living there.
22:45And that apparition could be a previous owner or someone associated with that home.
22:56Whatever the case, even though John didn't see the ghost with his own eyes that night,
23:02he believes that what his camera captured is tangible proof of the afterlife.
23:09To someone who is in the paranormal community, that's considered the holy grail is capturing a full apparition.
23:14I'm very happy and proud that I was able to capture that.
23:26Coming up, did a webcam overlooking Loch Ness.
23:31Capture proof of Nessie.
23:43It's believed that cryptids possess the ability to evade humans in a variety of ways.
23:55Like skinwalkers, shape-shifting into animals or people.
24:04Bigfoot, camouflaging itself to blend into the environment.
24:08And the mothman, flying away at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.
24:15But as more and more cameras cover the earth, some recording 24 hours a day, seven days a week,
24:24that ease of anonymity could be coming to an end.
24:28And one need look no further for proof of this than what one webcam captured at the birthplace
24:36of perhaps the biggest cryptic of them all.
24:48July 5th, 2025, Donegal, Ireland.
24:55An avid Nessie hunter is at home on his computer, watching one of several live webcam streams
25:02that overlook Scotland's Loch Ness.
25:05Hoping for the off chance, he'll spot the legendary cryptid.
25:10When lo and behold, something catches his eye.
25:16Watch closely.
25:21Did you see it?
25:23Watch again, as what appears to be a large mass
25:28breaches the surface before quickly disappearing back into the abyss.
25:36Thinking it may be a glimpse of the elusive lake monster,
25:40the viewer reports the sighting to the tourism board that maintains the cameras,
25:45which quickly triggers a close review of the footage by Ellen Walker,
25:50destination director of Visit Inverness, Loch Ness.
25:56I'm Ellen, and this is footage from one of our webcams.
25:59The cameras that we have set up cover the length of the law.
26:03We are very fortunate to have a team of very dedicated Nessie hunters
26:10who do surveil our footage and watch the webcams on a daily basis.
26:15And they are very well trained at looking out for very minute changes in waves and things like that
26:23to distinguish between what they consider to be optical illusions and real Nessie sightings.
26:29So what I see in the clip is absolutely a disturbance in the water.
26:33And there's potential of it being a large creature in the water for sure.
26:37And I think it's one of the most compelling instances where we've been able to capture it on footage.
26:44It does really kind of have the hallmarks of what we would see in those grainy old black
26:49and white images of Nessie coming out of the lock.
26:53Something black is kind of emerging from under the water.
26:56We can see it rising up and it appears that this long neck creature, if you will,
27:01comes out with a very small head, prehistoric in nature.
27:04And obviously it's not a massive piece of driftwood bursting up and then going back down.
27:10This was something that was sentient, aware, mobile and intelligent.
27:16It has to be large.
27:18I mean, this is something that to me seems to be bigger than a boat.
27:23It's so visible when it does come out of the water and go back in,
27:26that we might just be seeing a small piece of the Loch Ness monster.
27:31Whatever this thing is, it's certainly much larger than the usual species of all the fish
27:39and other wildlife that live in Loch Ness.
27:42But despite its relatively substantial size, the dark figure isn't quite the behemoth one might expect,
27:50especially when compared to previous sightings, leading some to believe it could be a juvenile.
28:00It's reasonable that this wouldn't be the same creature that's been sighted throughout the centuries.
28:08Instead, it would have to reproduce.
28:11So maybe this is not Nessie the original, but maybe Nessie 2.0, 3.0, maybe 6.0.
28:22And if so, maybe this newer Nessie will be a little more amenable to being captured on camera,
28:29considering how many of these devices are now continuously streaming from its home base.
28:34The fact that now we can use technology to really enable us to better engage the marvelous and the fantastical
28:44is maybe, in my obviously biased opinion, one of the best uses of this kind of technology that we have.
28:51We can tune in, we can go back and review footage, we can let artificial intelligence tell us motion was
28:57detected,
28:58make sure you look at this particular time window.
29:00All of that just ups our chances of being able to engage with these incredible legends,
29:06and I think that is an incredible benefit.
29:09Which, according to Ellen, is not just the point of their webcams, but the Loch Ness monster legend itself.
29:17Nessie is more than just a monster, and so is this entire area.
29:21I think Nessie is a symbol of the community of storytellers that we have within the highlands,
29:27and that spirit is in the water. And for many people, a trip to Loch Ness is not as achievable.
29:32And the webcams that are around Loch Ness, the Nessie cans, are one of the services we feel is necessary
29:38to provide,
29:39and hopefully enable people to feel connected to the Loch in ways that they might not have been able to.
29:51Coming up, a woman from Wyoming communicates with UFOs.
29:59Yeah, I see you. I see you.
30:12While being lucky enough to spot a UFO may seem like an exciting moment in one's life,
30:19for some, it can lead to complications, like being misunderstood by peers who may be skeptical.
30:29Especially if the UFO encounter was much more involved than just a sighting.
30:36Which is why sharing one's experience takes great courage.
30:43Just ask a woman from Wyoming who is not only willing to tell her incredible story,
30:51but has also dedicated a part of her life to helping others do the same.

31:10January 17th, 2024. Rock Springs, Wyoming.
31:17Rachel Yednack is outside when she spots something peculiar in the sky.
31:25So she pulls out her phone and starts to record.
31:31It's a distant, white, tic-tac-shaped object darting across the sky.
31:37And Rachel is sure that it's not only a UFO, but it's also very aware of her presence.
31:52My name is Rachel and these are my videos.
32:01I looked up in the sky and there it was, and I saw it go behind that pine tree.
32:07So I walked over there and I stood in front of that pine tree.
32:10And anytime I would move right, it would shoot out the back side of the tree left.
32:16Anytime I went left, it shot out to the right side.
32:24And it really felt playful and intentional.
32:31You can clearly see this isn't a plane, this isn't a helicopter.
32:35It seems to be reacting to the person, the experiencer.
32:39There seems to be some sort of a connection to them.
32:43A connection that, according to Rachel, started over a decade ago.
32:54I stepped out onto my front porch one evening to watch the sky.
32:59And saw a strange object coming from the west headed east in my direction.
33:06And I questioned, is that an airplane?
33:12The next thing I know, I am in a triangle craft.
33:21Then I was placed back on my porch, kind of at what I describe as a time loop.
33:33Repeating the same actions that I was prior to being inside of that triangle craft.
33:39And after that happened, it was a slow progression with these orbs and other things that I see.
33:48A slow progression that has led to hundreds of encounters.
33:52Like this.
33:55November 2024.
33:57Rachel spots another orb near her home.
34:01This one, glowing red and white.
34:06Those are what I call fireballs, and that's what they look like in person.
34:11They look like giant balls of fire, constantly strobing with different colors.
34:20Even more remarkable is that Rachel claims these objects show up.
34:26Whenever she invites them to.
34:29As evidenced by what happened on this night.
34:32In June 2024.
34:37When another orb appears to be responding to Rachel.
34:41As she flashes a red light toward the sky.
34:44Yeah, I see you.
34:45I see you.
34:47It's really not uncommon within the UFO experiencer or abductee community.
34:53For people to believe that they have a special relationship with these extraterrestrial visitors.
35:02I think of it more as being a participant in a relationship, connection, or partnership.
35:11A partnership that has led her to become a MUFON field investigator.
35:18MUFON, or the Mutual UFO Network as it's called, is one of the oldest UFO, or now we call UAP,
35:24investigating organizations around.
35:28You can actually go become certified as a MUFON investigator by going through their training programs, which are actually quite
35:35good.
35:36It's a position that Rachel, needless to say, is uniquely qualified for.
35:46It's very hard for me to keep my eyes off the sky.
35:50I'm constantly looking, every night I'm out sky watching.
35:56I always feel fascinated and intrigued, and I feel seen.
36:03Yeah, I see ya.

36:12Coming up, churchgoers in the Philippines.
36:16Witness a miracle in the clouds.
36:30One's faith can profoundly affect how they see the world.
36:36And influence how they interpret what happens around them.
36:43Whether a message from loved ones who have passed.
36:48Or a sign.
36:52From a specific higher power.
36:55And while non-believers may simply chalk these things up to wishful thinking.
37:02Some events.
37:04Like what happened one day in the Philippines.
37:07Are so seemingly obvious, it's almost impossible to see it as anything other than.
37:17Divine.
37:26June 14th, 2025.
37:29Naga City, the Philippines.
37:32A local church is holding a youth day.
37:36Where hundreds of young people have gathered to pray.
37:42But this special event becomes much, much more so as they begin to file out of the church.
37:51And see this.
37:55A vertical, wispy cloud.
38:00That looks remarkably, like perhaps the most meaningful figure.
38:07In the Christian faith.
38:11This is a pretty traditional depiction of Jesus.
38:15We get a sense of legs, arms outstretched.
38:19We even get a pretty clear indication that they're wearing a robe or some sort of flowing garment.
38:25You don't even really have to believe that this is a miraculous manifestation to think,
38:30wow, that's incredibly cool.
38:34I don't know, I was ready to just say this is pareidolia and us seeing a recognizable shape
38:43in a random pattern.
38:45But I can't say that.
38:47I see a human-like shape in those clouds.
38:52And on top of that, it was spotted over a large community of worshipers near a basilica.
39:02That's a hell of a coincidence.
39:04Or, sorry, a heavenly coincidence.
39:09The way clouds usually form and appear because of crosswinds and whatnot,
39:14it's usually a horizontal vector.
39:17This was almost as if something flew up through the cloud, making this vertical column.
39:23It didn't look like it was naturally formed.
39:27Was it intelligently formed?
39:29Was it meant as a sign?
39:32Maybe.
39:33And if so, it certainly wouldn't be the first time.
39:40Throughout the Old and New Testament of the Judeo-Christian Bible,
39:44there are more than 100 references to clouds as symbols of God's presence.
39:51They occur in Genesis, Revelations, appearing to Noah, Moses, and also as a symbol of the Holy Spirit.
40:02So clouds being connected to a heavenly appearance is nothing new.
40:08Whatever it is, it's not something that the powers that be take for granted.
40:14The Catholic Church, in fact, just updated their policies on how they determine what is considered a miracle.
40:21They have what's called the dicastry of the doctrines of the faith.
40:25And there's actually a protocol now to determine when something can be put in the record books as a miracle.
40:31And while it's unknown what the official stance is on the sighting, after video of it is widely seen,
40:39more than 8,000 people travel to the basilica to pray in honor of the incredible sight.
40:45When you see something like this actually attracting all these other people to go there,
40:52people are seeking that spiritual connection to the Creator, to God, and maybe this served exactly its purpose.
41:02People are looking for hope.
41:05And this is definitely something that makes people want to really have something that they can look forward to and
41:10be happy about.
41:11And nothing says that more than, you know, seeing a sign from the Lord.
41:21What should you do in the event you witness something paranormal?
41:26Here are some tips to get it all on camera.
41:31Check your footage.
41:32And then, check it again.
41:36Trust that what you're seeing really is otherworldly.
41:41Yeah, I see.
41:42Don't stop recording.
41:44Just love being out in the woods at night.
