Have the Commanders finally erased the tragedy that was 2.2.22?

00:39I did not feel like it was a disappointment or like it was built up too much.
00:44I actually thought this was a massive win for the organization, and it was executed beautifully in its simplicity.

00:54called in to us for a second time on the station, which was very, very kind.
00:57And he was kind of the front man, but there was no national TV show.

05:37The NBC4 chopper flies over the stadium and zooms in through the glass, and you see Commanders
05:44and their own secret, their own announcement gets scooped by, oh, by the way, like their
05:51preeminent partner.
05:53This is something only I would care about, but I would have loved to have been a fly on
05:58the wall of that conversation.
05:59Because there are, at that time, there's, I don't know if it's millions or, I'm sure it's
06:03millions, actually, but like hundreds of thousands of dollars exchanged between NBC4 and the
06:09football team.
06:10And any scoops, they're just sliding over their way, you know, they're getting the one-on-one
06:14interview with the coach and the quarterback every, you know, now it's Channel 9 that does
06:18this.
06:18Yeah, it was like the 7.30 on Sunday football show or whatever, you know.
06:21I could be botching it, but I'm 95% sure it was NBC4's chopper that scoops them, their
06:26own partner.
06:27And they're just airing it, and it's like they're the Commanders, and now it's over.
