Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese arrived on Wednesday (April 15) for a three-day official visit to Malaysia.

The special aircraft carrying Albanese and his delegation landed at the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Base in Subang at 5.15pm before being received by Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister Datuk Seri Arthur Joseph Kurup.

00:13He later inspected a guard of honour by the Royal Ranger Regiment upon arrival.
00:19Albanese will also receive an official welcome in Putrajaya on Thursday
00:23before meeting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for talks on regional conflicts, energy security and supply chain stability.
00:35Both leaders are also scheduled to witness the exchange of memoranda of understanding on areas of mutual interest,
00:42followed by a joint press conference.
00:45Malaysia and Australia elevated their ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2021,
00:52strengthening cooperation in economic growth, society and technology, as well as defence and regional security.
