Pembrokeshire Chess Club enjoyed the presence of a guest visitor ‘Rook to D 2’ - an AI Robot from the Welsh Chess Union. This was a first for the County as it started its Welsh tour.
The children were all excited as was the Club’s President and Chairman!
The President made the first move, and it was game on. The 15 children present all enjoyed a few moves against it, together with a few of the adults. The atmosphere was amazing with the developments in technology.
The Club meets in Kensington Court Steynton and have two junior sessions starting at 5.30 to 6.30pm on a Tuesday with more experienced juniors, adults coming in after.
As a fanilt friendly Club, it caters for all abilities, those who want a friendly club game and those who want to play league and tournament chess.
