00:30Hi Ms. Chris.
00:31Hello. Good morning.
00:32So how long have you been in the industry?
00:362018. Actually our first branch is in Baguio City.
00:39So it is a restaurant and franchising company.
00:42So now we have 15 branches all over Luzon and one in Davao.
00:46So year 2018, you started. May mga struggles and challenges ba?
00:51Lalo na nasa mundo ka ng franchising.
00:54That time kasi kami pa yung first unlimited wings na Baguio nun.
00:58So dun kami nakilala.
01:00And then yung nung nag-start kami ng franchising actually during the pandemic.
01:04So I can say that we are pandemic proof.
01:06Kasi we started, nag-grow kami during the pandemic nung nag-COEan yung mga OFWs.
01:10So ito pa yung concept ng franchising before dun na nagbubumi.
01:14How important it is sa isang mga business owner tulad din yun like ng restaurant to have
01:20everything on your own like your own recipe, your own sauce, and your own strategy?
01:25For the recipes po, it's much cheaper.
01:27Kasi hindi mo na siya bibili and it's not store-bought.
01:30Tapos you have the uniqueness, the flavor.
01:32So pwede namin sabihin na kami lang meron ito.
01:35You can place it with sa other branches.
01:36I think that's the advantage that we have as business owners.
01:40Now we have our own sauces and we have our own strategies compared to our past.
01:44The system and the operations, the customer service with my team, the operations,
01:49ano po kami talagang tinitrain na and we have our seminars po.
01:53What advice can you give to those people na gusto rin pumasok sa ganitong klaseng negosyo?
01:57Sa mga bagong business owners, you have to study the market.
02:01At you study the business, kasi if you don't know the market,
02:04nahihirapan po kayo talagang intindihin kung paano nyo i-marketing.
02:09Yung food, lalo na food, is masyadong madami na pong competition na yun.
02:13Also, maging hands-on po sila.
02:16Kasi if you don't know the business, you don't really know paano ka magtatawag ng customer.
02:19And if you don't believe in your product and the business,
02:22mahirap po talaga magtawag ng customer.
02:24Nang ngayon, ang dami-dami ng businesses.
02:26Advice can you give sa gusto mong pumasok sa mundo na franchising business?
02:30Take the risk. Yung risk po is yung kaya nyong mawala.
02:33Kasi when you open the business, malaking pera yan.
02:37So, hindi naman po lahat ng business is talaga magpo-prosper.
02:40So, just to be ready is yung kaya nyong i-invest and yung kaya yung mawala.
02:45Bakit importanteng magnegosyo ang bawat mamamayang Pilipino?
02:49I think okay po mag-business because of the financial freedom and for the time.
02:55Lalo na ngayon, for me, I have two kids.
02:57When you have a business, you also have time for your kids compared to having a nine-hours job.
03:03Limited yung oras mo.
03:04When you go home, you sleep na lang. You don't have time for your kids.
03:08So, for me, important po talaga is yung time kasi hindi na siya mabagali.
03:17Hindi magbabago ang buhay mo until you step out of your comfort zone.
03:22Yan po ang mindset ng business owner na si Chris Santos.
