Battlefield 6 kicks off Season 2 with Operation Augur and a new battle for Hagental Base. With Season 2, “Operation Augur,” Battlefield 6 launches a new content phase that centers on the conflict between NATO and Pax and ignites a large-scale battle for Hagental Base.  The new season centers on NATO’s attempt to recapture Hagental Base and its associated satellite defense network from Pax. This leads to intense combat that spans two interconnected maps and offers a variety of battle scenarios.  The first section takes place on the “Contaminated” map, where attacking units can use the new VL-7 Smoke System to break through enemy defensive positions and gain tactical advantages in combat. This area emphasizes open combat and coordinated squad advances.  As the battle progresses, the action shifts to Hagental Base, where the focus shifts significantly toward close-quarters combat and confined battle spaces. Here, strategic decision-making becomes crucial, as every move and every instance of team coordination can determine victory or defeat. 00:15Operation Augur links to new Season 2 maps contaminated in Haagenthal Base

00:19in a reimagining of the classic fan-favorite mode, Operation.

00:25Just like the original, attackers fight to capture key sectors

00:29while defenders try to stop their advance.

00:31But in Battlefield 6, we've pushed and optimized this mode to lean heavily into squad and tactical play.

00:37Players must rely on squad members, spawn beacons and vehicle spawns

00:42to quickly get back on the objective and into the fight.

00:45The fight kicks off on the rocky terrain of Contaminated,

00:48where attackers can use the VL7 smoke to their advantage and push their opponents back,

00:53while defenders hold the high ground and fortified positions against the oncoming onslaught.

01:01you'll descend into the depths of Haagenthal Base

01:04and engage in claustrophobic, close-quarters combat,
