00:00In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful
00:03Yasin
00:06And the Wise Quran
00:09You are one of the messengers on a straight path
00:16Download the Almighty, the Merciful
00:20To warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless.
00:30The word has been spoken against most of them, for they do not believe.
00:38We have placed shackles on their necks, reaching up to their chins, so they are forced to raise their heads.
00:49And We placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier
00:57So We have covered them, and they cannot see.
01:02It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.
01:11You only warn those who follow the Reminder and fear the Most Merciful unseen.
01:20So give him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward.
01:25Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have done and what they have left behind.
01:33And everything We have recorded is in a clear sign.
01:40And give them an example: the people of the town when the messengers came to it.
01:49When We sent two messengers to them, they denied them, so We reinforced them with a third, and they said, "Indeed, we are messengers to you."
02:07They said, "You are nothing but human beings like us."
02:14The Most Merciful has not revealed anything; you are only lying.
02:22They said, "Our Lord knows that we are indeed messengers to you."
02:31Our only duty is to deliver the clear message.
02:37They said, "We consider you a bad omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you."
02:49And a painful punishment will touch you from Us
02:54They said, "Your omen is with you. Is it because you are reminded? Rather, you are a transgressing people."
03:06And from the farthest part of the city came a man running
03:14He said, "O my people, follow the messengers."
03:18Follow those who do not ask you for payment and who are rightly guided.
03:25And why should I not worship the One who created me and to whom you will be returned?
03:34Should I take other gods besides Him? The Most Merciful will turn me away.
03:41Their intercession will not avail me in any way, nor will they save me.
03:54I am then clearly in error.
04:00I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me.
04:07It was said, "Enter Paradise." He said, "Oh, if only people knew!"
04:15Because my Lord has forgiven me and made me one of the honored ones
04:21And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the sky, nor would We have sent down
04:35It was but a single blast, and they were extinguished.
04:43Alas for the servants
04:47No messenger came to them except that they ridiculed him.
04:54Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them, and that they will not return to them?
05:05And all of us are under threat
05:12And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, from which they eat.
05:22And We placed therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines
05:31And We caused springs to gush forth therein
05:36So that they may eat of its fruit and what their hands have produced. Will they not then be grateful?
05:43Glory be to Him Who created all pairs, from what the earth produces, from themselves, and from that which they do not know.
05:57And a sign for them is the night; We strip from it the day, and behold, they are in darkness.
06:05And the sun runs its course to a fixed point. That is the decree of the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing.
06:15And We have determined for the moon phases until it returns like an old date stalk.
06:22The sun should not overtake the moon.
06:30Nor does the night precede the day.
06:34Each one is swimming in an orbit
06:40And a sign for them is that We carried their offspring in the laden ship
06:47And We created for them similar things on which they ride.
06:54And if We will, We will drown them, and there will be no one to cry out for help, nor will they be rescued.
07:02Except as a mercy from Us and a provision for a time
07:08And if it is said to them, "Beware of what is before you and what is behind you, so that you may receive mercy."
07:18And no sign from their Lord comes to them except that they turn away from it.
07:29And if it is said to them, āSpend from what God has provided for youā
07:35Those who disbelieved said to those who believed
07:41Should we feed those whom God, if He willed, could have fed?
07:48You are clearly in error
07:53They say, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?"
08:01They are only waiting for a single blast to seize them while they are arguing.
08:11They cannot make a will, nor can they return to their families.
08:22And the trumpet was blown
08:25And the trumpet will be blown, and behold, they will rush forth from the graves to their Lord.
08:35They said, "Woe to us! Who has raised us up from our resting place?"
08:40This is what the Most Merciful promised, and the messengers spoke the truth.
08:47It was but a single blast, and behold, they were all brought before Us.
08:57So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do.
09:08The companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in their work
09:17They and their spouses are in error, reclining on couches.
09:25They will have fruit therein and whatever they desire.
09:31Peace, a word from a Merciful Lord
09:38Distinguished today, you criminals
09:43Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you should not worship Satan?
09:52He is a clear enemy to you
09:56And worship Me; this is a straight path.
10:03And indeed, a great multitude of you has gone astray. Did you not then understand?
10:12This is the Hell you were promised.
10:18Consume today what you used to disbelieve
10:23Today We will seal over their mouths and their hands will speak to Us
10:34Their feet will bear witness to what they used to earn.
10:40And if We willed, We could have blinded their eyes.
10:47So hasten towards the straight path, for they will see.
10:52If we wished, we could not have changed their status.
10:58They could neither go nor return
11:04And whomever We grant long life We reverse in creation; so will they not understand?
11:12We did not teach him poetry, nor is it appropriate for him. It is only a reminder and a clear Qur'an.
11:24To warn those who are alive and to fulfill the word against the disbelievers
11:31Do they not see that We have created for them, from what Our hands have made, livestock, and they are their owners?
11:45And We have made them subservient to them, so some of them they ride and some of them they eat.
11:51They have therein benefits and drinks; will they not then be grateful?
11:59They have taken gods besides God, hoping that they will be helped.
12:07They cannot help them, and they have a threatening army.
12:13So do not be saddened by their words. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they reveal.
12:25Does man not see that We created him from a sperm-drop? Then at once he is a clear adversary.
12:36He gives us an example and forgets his own creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones when they are disintegrated?"
12:51Say, "He will give life to them who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing."
13:03He who made fire for you from green trees
13:09Then you kindle from it
13:15Is He Who created the heavens and the earth not able to create the like of them?
13:26Yes, He is the Creator, the All-Knowing
13:30His command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, āBe,ā and it is.
13:50Glory be to Him in whose hand is the dominion of all things, and to Him you will be returned.
