00:00Donald Trump is no longer a trustworthy ally, and as such, until America regains its senses,
00:05until there are reasonable heads in the White House, we need to turn to our European neighbours
00:09for a stronger defensive alliance. And as a Lib Dem, you would expect me to say that we should
00:14be closer to Europe, but we absolutely do. Gillian Mackay, I mean, you could answer the
00:18question I was asking John Swinney very straightforwardly, couldn't you? You want the
00:21Americans out. Absolutely we do. We can't be complicit in war crimes other places in the world.
00:28We've seen from Donald Trump in the last week alone that he's willing to bomb civilian
00:33infrastructure to get his own way. Forceful regime change in the last few decades has never brought
00:40anything good across the world, and bombing other people's children doesn't seem to be
00:44a particularly good way forward either.
