00:20During his visit to Algeria, Pope Leo XIV visited the city of Anaba as part of the start of his
00:26tour of four countries on the African continent focused on peace and reconciliation.
00:30The Pope was welcomed in a minority Muslim country where he focused his message on reconciliation
00:35and building bridges between Christianity and Islam.
00:38The Pope thanked the President for the invitation, recalling that he had previously visited Anaba
00:43in 2004 and 2013 as a spiritual son of St. Augustine.
00:48After his visit to Algeria, Pope Leo XIV fully continued on to Cameroon, Angola and Ecuador
00:53Rockini, countries with large Catholic populations that represent the demographic future of the
