01:10Yeah, I've been in Melbourne for about six months or so,
01:13but I've been able to meet Alicia and here we are on this brand new journey together I guess.
01:18So we met in a brown women comedy course.
01:23It was like an eight week workshop to learn how to do stand-up comedy,
01:26which was kind of exciting, but we actually met on the way in.
01:29So it was fast friendship, which has been really great.
01:32Yeah, and I think we both kind of did it on a whim.
01:35We were both sort of new to Melbourne and it was just such a,
01:39you know, you're learning new skills and you're making new friends at the same time.
01:42I recently moved to South Yarra, bought an apartment there.
01:46The lifestyle is amazing.
01:48But I am sort of looking at, you know, maybe future-proofing a little.
01:53I'm looking at my longevity here and I stumbled across Mordialic
01:58and absolutely love everything about it.

13:18My suggestion would just be grab one, take it out of the box, whack it in the oven and pull
13:22it back out again.

15:17the ocean the ocean views now you've got a lot to think about but as I always say price does play
15:23into it yeah so this one is on the market for Erica your turn oh my turn I'd say somewhere
15:32in the 1.4 to 1.5 yeah yeah 1.5 they're asking so this is sort of the bottom of your price bracket
15:40which is great the asking price is on the lower end of sort of what I was looking at so I think
15:47it's still quite reasonable still quite a big nice property with a twist yes absolutely

16:00I'm keen to learn more about Mordialic as a local so I met with Mark from Mates Mordialic to learn more
16:18Mark they say if you want a good story or the truth come to the local bar and here we are at
16:24Mates in Mordialic you are the unspoken mayor of the area yes so sad why Mordialic what's so great
16:32about this place oh look Mordialic's just fantastic it's got the beach close by you know great restaurants
16:38great nightlife you know so much for families so much to do down on the waterfront the feeling I get
16:45here is still really urban it does feel inner city and yet you've got the beach right across the road
16:50yeah look um recently City of Kingston did wall-to-wall fest just in the factories close by
16:55got murals painted over a weekend by artists from all around the world you know some fantastic breweries
17:01Brayside, Wolf of the Willows, Boat Rocker and distilleries as well with St Felix so yeah there's
17:09plenty around here great cafes as well in that area there's there's so much to see here
17:14art culture coldies good coffee sunshine great water public transport that's it happy days done

17:48about a decision hello ladies hi oh well I've made myself at home in Mordialic thank you very much
17:55so let's talk through them house number one first that beautiful big black modern home yeah yeah you
18:04know what it is such a stunning home but I think you know for the right family I think just as a solo
18:11person it probably is a little bit too large for me and I think that was probably the easiest decision
18:18yeah I had a fair idea once we left house number one that we wouldn't be going back but it'll be
18:23perfect for that family that are making the shift here to a beautiful property easy access exactly
18:28they'll have a great time house number two white picket fence big backyard the inside sort of felt
18:34like an apartment because it was nice and cute but you did have that space to grow so many of the
18:40things that um I I love you know the cozy warm atmosphere the lots of natural lighting I could
18:47really see yourself having like your family over yeah I can see myself having my family the big
18:51backyard for the dog so then we put in house number three yeah to the mix which was kind of a hybrid of
18:59the two it was new had that very modern styling but yet it was that little bit smaller more compact
19:04probably more manageable house number three I thought was so beautiful and such a wonderful sort
19:11of amalgamation of the two it had the koi bonds it had you know the three levels the roof yeah that
19:18was great yeah that was a highlight so have you landed on either of these properties are we thinking
19:25that house number two will be your as I call them your forever for now home you're still in love even
19:31at first sight yeah or has house number three kind of got you thinking this might be the place for you
19:37yeah I think we we talked it over and I think I might be more leaning towards number two yeah at this
19:45point just because of the backyard house number two yeah is the the best potential candidate at this
19:53point exactly okay so all the best to you I will say that I spoke to Mark downstairs and he might
20:00start an open mic night if you move down here I'm going to do some live comedy yeah all the more reason
20:06for Erica to come down and visit me don't want that plane so house two was the pick of the bunch but
