00:04You know, to start the game, we were physical, and then we were doing it in spurts.
00:14So, you know, we have to do a better job of doing it for over 48 minutes.
00:20And part of the physicality or where we lacked physicality was on the offensive glass.
00:27We didn't do a good job putting bodies on bodies, whether it was the Abate rebounding or guys rebounding their
00:34own missed shots.
00:37That's what hurt us. They only had 12, which isn't a ton.
00:42It's a lot, not a ton, but they had 26 second chance points on those 12 offensive rebounds.
00:48And that was the biggest difference in the game.
00:50So our guys fought. They did a nice job trying to space the floor and spray the basketball offensively.
00:56You got a 43, which is a good number. But, you know, when you don't put bodies on bodies and
01:01then, you know, 17 free throws isn't a lot.
01:04I don't know. We couldn't generate enough free throws, but 17-8 makes it a little tough.
01:09But the biggest thing is just to put bodies on bodies to not allow them to have 26 second chance
01:15points.
01:17Was it thinking going into the game to give Miles an opportunity to just get more shots up, get more
01:23time on the floor, get more rhythm?
01:24Yeah. You know, I just wanted him to go be aggressive.
01:27How do you think he looks?
01:29He looked good. You know, this is good to see him just go play free and take any shot he
01:35wanted and be aggressive because he could score the basketball at a high level.
01:39He could shoot at a high level. So it was good to see the ball going a few times.
01:42Mike, your matchups with Atlanta this year. What did you see?
01:48They were good. Atlanta's a good team. You know, they're a good team. Everybody's good. You know.
01:56What kind of challenges do they pose?
01:59Everybody's going to pose challenges. I don't know who we're going to play, but we're going to face different challenges
02:05by everybody because everybody's really good, especially at this time of the year.
02:12Have you ever gone to the last game of the season being in the playoffs? I don't know who plays
02:17relatively new, but have you ever gone this late into the season not knowing who you were going to play?
02:23It's a four-point game with 90 seconds in Boston right now.
02:27Yeah, I'm sure it's happened. I can't sit here and recall like, you know, it was this time or that
02:32time, but I'm sure it's happened.
02:34All right. Mike, you had Chris Gent out of leading. After you spoke, he spoke in a huddle. Was there
02:41any thought of it's late in regular season?
02:43You want to get some guys opportunity to address the team or was that just far from course?
02:46No, we've been doing that. You know, I did it my whole time in Golden State. I was a defensive
02:52coordinator. And so I either address the team first.
02:55Most times I address the team first and then Steve address the team second. But I give all my guys
03:00an opportunity to speak.
03:05When do you start having your players look at film of the next team and everything like that?
03:13Either Tuesday or Wednesday, we're not sure. Tomorrow's off though, for sure.
