00:00But the effort tonight in the first half by the Knicks was completely unacceptable.
00:04Considering the fact that it was a pivotal game, I wouldn't call it a must-win,
00:08but it was a pivotal Game 3, and they came out in the first two quarters and they were flat.
00:12Now, they made up for it by a strong finish, including taking the lead in the fourth quarter,
00:17but the problem that plagued them in Game 2 and then bit them in the ass again in Game 3
00:21is the fact that their possessions at the end of the game are so damn predictable.
00:27It's give the ball to Brunson, and then everybody stands around and watches him dribble.
00:33You're not going to win championships with that.
00:35And I know Brunson is Captain Clutch, and I know he has turned this franchise around,
00:40and we all love Jalen Brunson.
00:42But Karl-Anthony Towns was brought here to be the second superstar.
00:45He should be dominating this series. He shouldn't be having 12, 13 shots in a game.
00:49He shouldn't disappear in fourth quarters because no one wants to give him the basketball.
00:52So Mike Brown has to draw up more pick-and-rolls.
00:55They have to get Cat the ball. The point guard, Brunson, he's got to get Cat the ball.
01:00And Cat's got to talk to somebody and demand the basketball.
01:02Because guess what? Here we are in the first round, a team that had championship aspirations,
01:07finals or bust. We feel that way. Everybody feels that way.
01:12And here we are in the first round of the playoffs, and the Knicks are in a must-win game.
01:18Their season is on the line.
01:20And if they lose this game coming up, and they lose this series, there's going to be major changes.
01:25Brown is out the door, and I think there's going to be major roster changes.
