00:05oh my god across the United States this is full dude buried in out-of-control hordes
00:16holy hey Matt there are treasures you can't even begin to imagine oh my god I'm Matt Paxton and my
00:26team and I are cleaning out properties rain and poop looking for big scores holy one-of-a-kind we
00:33found gold for our clients and ourselves and if my instincts are right I think this is legit
00:41everyone wins 82,000 so like I say is wow give me my hundred and ten thousand dollars I can't
00:49believe
00:49this is the same house 320 thousand dollars we're in the middle of nowhere man look at this place
01:07snowing all over the place this place is beautiful yeah Holman Washington and we're in the elements man
01:17in the snow this is a first for me buddy this is a really cool potential client Adrian and Tim
01:23Adrian has inherited a 270 acre farm whoa so what's the family's goal man they want to empty this
01:32entire property and the house by the looks of it on the video the front yard is completely packed
01:39and they said the house is even worse beautiful farm country all around the most lovely area you
01:49could imagine and then there's all this in the middle of it hi I'm Adrian Fisher and this is Tim
01:56Fisher my husband my grandfather purchased the farm in the 1920s 270 acres and raised his family there
02:06which included my mom and my uncle my uncle started collecting things in the 50s and he went
02:13to auctions all the time and was very well known unfortunately when he passed away it became our problem
02:22to solve for scale here I am standing beside it just at 510 it looks like there is a lot
02:29of good stuff in there a lot of like
02:31industrial architecture yeah the architectural salvage in that video looks insane it did
02:36they also there are a couple statues that could be worth a lot of money statues are a great way
02:41we can
02:41get big money fast the size and condition can range anywhere from 50 to 200 thousand dollars oh my god
02:49and
02:49that's just in the yard I haven't been able to go into the front door in decades it's always been
02:57behind a tarp the house is so cluttered and so full I don't know where anything is but I know
03:04he's got
03:05some really cool bronze statues some old vases I think they're called swung vases he talked about a gold
03:14nugget I never saw it we walked around and literally didn't know where to start what to do there's no
03:22way
03:23we can clean this up by ourselves in even a year so Matt we really need your help I think
03:30this weather is going to play a big role
03:32yeah I'm more worried about the snow yeah and being able to see what's underneath it I mean if you
03:37got to wipe snow off of
03:38every single item and it's 30 degrees outside how long is that going to take but the potential payout could
03:44be huge the big ticket items we're looking for are bronze statues a collection of swung glass vases and hopefully
03:52a gold
03:53nugget all right guys there it is look at this place definitely catfish starts with this video we might need
04:02three days for the driveway and it ain't gonna be three
04:12look at this place what kind of species are you kidding me this is crazy dude my I am getting
04:21cold it's cold it's really cold and we can't even see the stuff under the snow just everywhere
04:29wow I don't know that I've ever seen anything like this before me and we're not even to the house
04:33yet I know that's the crazy
04:35thing like holy cow dude driving up it makes me think this is what a horde would look like from
04:41space
04:42there definitely could be a lot of good stuff to sell the challenge is it's all been trapped under tarps
04:47it's snowing and raining at the same time and honestly the snow is going to be a real challenge for
04:52us
04:52I don't know if we'll be able to get dumpsters in or out hello hello hi Matt how are you
04:58we're good
04:58I'm cold but good good morning Matt good to see you good to see you snowed just for you guys
05:03yeah
05:06all right well I'm excited to get inside Kaelin why don't you check this area okay and then if you
05:12guys
05:12want to check around the side of the house okay I'll go inside with him is that cool yeah all
05:16right
05:16well let's go you guys show me the way okay I'll follow you all right so this is the front
05:25door
05:26so now my uncle kept this covered okay because he was afraid of theft okay so there's one thing you'll
05:34learn in hoarding is like everything is intentional usually they put a lot of the least valuable stuff
05:40up front to block it and to hide the good stuff in the back they're telling us you can't even
05:46get
05:46into the house the front door and the back door are completely blocked and the steps upstairs are
05:50completely blocked there's a reason we can't let ourselves get fooled or overwhelmed with the size
05:56of this hoard all the hoarding principles everything we've learned in hoarding is still the same there's
06:01a bunch of stuff oh holy cow yes there is man this is insane there's the living room look at
06:13that
06:15well we got the front door open just enough for me to squeak in and I jump into the foyer
06:20and it's
06:21just boxes everywhere there's there's no space is that what that's the steps yeah these are the steps
06:27so these are a beautiful set of steps upstairs is my uncle's bedroom as a kid my uncle roger's bedroom
06:36was off limits we would kind of look at it the door was always closed and wonder what was behind
06:41the door
06:42I always thought well that's where all the good stuff is all right let me get up here you can
06:47barely get three people in this house I mean that's how full this house is but we have to get
06:53upstairs
06:54that's where the money's gonna be I shouldn't put my gun up oh oh we got some valuables here though
07:03there's snow covered on everything that slows down the job a lot fire cabinets everywhere and it's
07:1110 times harder because my hands are freezing a lot of this stuff is valuable a lot of it's not
07:18trash
07:18so we got to be real careful oh my gosh a lot of architectural salvage this stuff will sell look
07:38at
07:38these urns at first I was skeptical but we're already finding a ton of value in the yard and
07:44that's what gives me the confidence to say we're gonna find some really great things inside this
07:49house all right oh hey don't forget to wipe your boots we don't want to mess up the place oh
07:54I feel
07:56like I should wipe my boots when I leave out okay this must be the kitchen oh and look at
08:05all this one
08:06glass one of the big ticket items that we're looking for oh my god there's even more swunglass in
08:27here and there are some amazing pieces over here in the 1950s mid-century modern design put the fun in
08:35function but one accessory captured the era's space-age vibe perfectly the tall dramatically
08:41stretched silhouettes of swung glass vases to give these pieces their distinctive look a glass blower
08:49gathers molten glass from a furnace into a blowpipe the hot glass is blown into a short wide mold that
08:55gives the base its pattern while extremely hot the blower literally swings the piece downward gravity
09:01stretches the neck dramatically creating that signature elongated wavy form no two pieces are
09:08alike and mid-century modern enthusiasts still hunt for them today a white milk glass swung base recently
09:15sold at auction for over seven thousand dollars as long as they're in good condition it'll be some
09:20money or not enough to clean up to get to it better make a dent all right I think I've
09:31seen enough in
09:32here I'm trying to really just get my head around how to do this okay I'm gonna show my cards
09:39here if
09:40we take this job it'll be the biggest one we've ever done it would be a pretty amazing clean out
09:45with a
09:46lot of these hordes I think most families could figure it out this this is insane you guys this
09:52is a whole nother level yeah I'm gonna go meet with my guys see if we can put a plan
09:56together all right
09:57I'll see you in a little bit okay bye bye what's up guys where do we start I'm blown away
10:06man I've never
10:07seen that how many days yeah I mean this is look at this we're definitely gonna need six days due
10:13to the
10:13sheer volume and the weather conditions okay this one is insane so realistically what do you think
10:20this is gonna cost realistically 50,000 okay so cost me 50,000 there there's a million things that
10:28complicate this job as you can see it's been snowing I'm trying to bring in heavy equipment I'm trying to
10:34bring in lots of people nothing about this job and the timing really work well with the weather I mean
10:40how are you feeling on value you know I've been trying to wrap my head around this we're on 270
10:45acres
10:46of land and the horde covers about seven acres just looking at the few things we can see that aren't
10:51covered with snow there's some great stuff here so the possibility is definitely here for 150 200,000 and
10:59so that part I feel pretty good about you know and supposedly there's gold hidden somewhere so we could
11:05really strike it big I'm nervous I think we have just the potential is unlimited here I don't we
11:14have to take this one how do we walk away from this all right I'm gonna go find the family
11:17all right
11:18Uncle Roger did us good I think we got opportunity be epic epic all right I'll be back in a
11:22few all right
11:25guys how we doing good how are you well I'm cold cold overwhelmed that's literally the word I was
11:33thinking cold overwhelmed we need six days for this horde I think costs are gonna be $50,000 to clean
11:41everything because of the weather of the reality of the situation here that being said I do think
11:48there's at least $150,000 in potential profit here we'll get this house cleaned up but because
11:53of all those challenging things it's gonna have to be a 50 50 split you think 60 40 could you
12:00do 60 40
12:01I could but I won't inside the house I cannot stress how big this is I have no way of
12:07even gauging the
12:09weight and tonnage weight of this horde I mean it's it's astronomical it's the biggest horde I've ever seen
12:15but if the treasures are here and the profit is right I have to take it this is a whole
12:19nother level
12:20and I want to help you but I got to make sure it's worth it absolutely 50 50 split you
12:24go to that
12:25we're very good with that all right I'm excited this is good thank you thank you I'll see you guys
12:29in a
12:29little bit bye-bye morning gentlemen we got to keep this world open we got to put a dumpster here
12:40and
12:41after we finish doing that we're gonna clear these paths up so we can put dumpsters lined up on this
12:45road right here all right all right let's get it we have a lot of work to do just to
12:50get dumpsters
12:51in I'm not even talking about getting the trash out of the house and sorting it because the driveway
12:56to this house is so long and so narrow we can't even get a truck to come in and drop
13:00off a dumpster
13:01the closest they can get is about a half mile from the house and that's clearly too far for us
13:06to get
13:06anything done so Kaelin and Mike are gonna work with the crew to first clear a space on the property
13:11for
13:12a dumpster to fit once that's done the next step will be to widen the path so we can get
13:16a pickup
13:17truck all the way from the dumpsters to the house so we can drive our junk back and forth more
13:22quickly
13:22all right scrap it that's scrap sorry yeah we're gonna have to get this out of here
13:34the path to the house is super narrow it's like a goat trail so the junk team has to carry
13:40everything
13:40like three football fields just to get to the dumpster that slows them down and man my time is
13:49money once the path is wide enough for a trailer it's gonna be so much faster for the junk guys
13:54to
13:54get everything from the house to the trailer oh look at this we found some jewelry and this is why
14:00we
14:00have to look through everything guys look just found some jewelry in here might have some sterling
14:10never know where you're gonna find it
14:16I think I can get this door open another six inches and that's it and then I want to pick
14:24the floor and then start going this way okay all right I'll start picking here see if you can grab
14:31me a couple trash bags I'll pick right here all right and just try to get the door open while
14:35Kaelin
14:35and Mike continue to work outside Chris and I are starting with the foyer on the main floor
14:40once we clear this level it'll be much easier to access Uncle Roger's bedroom upstairs if my
14:45experience is right the true valuables will be hidden in that bedroom especially hard when you can
14:50barely feel your fingers I can't feel my fingers this wall is so high I can't even throw anything over
14:57it
15:00oh wait a minute yeah this makes me happy what is that look at this oh holy smokes
15:14oh wait a minute yeah what is that look at this
15:21this is a good thing we just found the gold prospectors association of america
15:27the gpaa that means that dude likes to find gold if he joined a gold prospecting association that
15:34means he's done it more than once so it might be golden house it might be golden house that is
15:40a
15:40very good thing I'm gonna put my gold finding hat on and find me some gold dude we've spent almost
15:46an
15:47entire day at this property with only a dense worth of picking to show for it because I think this
15:51dumpster that's going here is gonna be for scrap so here okay the Kaelin and the junk team have
15:56cleared about 700 square feet of space at the bottom of this driveway to drop a dumpster truck move
16:04you're good you're good oh my god we had to have spent all day in the snow and rain and
16:13cold and wind
16:14I feel like we're making really good progress but then I look around and it doesn't look like we've
16:20done anything like it's the most demoralizing thing not fun at all but if that's what I got
16:26to do to get in this house I'm gonna do it our theory is that the good stuff is hidden
16:38upstairs in
16:40the back with an entire day spent just to prep for a pick moving into day two it's all about
16:45getting
16:45after our target items and hidden treasure that's really cool Montgomery Wars this is how you shop
16:52this is the old Amazon y'all right here look at that I want to get upstairs as quickly as
16:57possible
16:57to the uncle's locked away bedroom but in order to get there we need to clear out the entire first
17:02floor so that we don't put trash on top of more trash oh this is kind of cool so while
17:07Chris and I
17:07start on the foyer Mike and Kaelin are going to continue to sort scrap and treasure hunt outside
17:12here we go here we go wow as of right now I think this is easily $200 that's pretty amazing
17:20it's
17:21obvious Uncle Roger loved art made of metal and architectural salvage he's got tons of it in
17:27modern times if there's a building that's gonna be torn down or renovated it is just bulldozed
17:32immediately with no concern for what's in or on the building but back in the day people would salvage
17:38doors windows columns fountains urns before they were destroyed the quality and craftsmanship that
17:45went into these elements of old buildings will never be made again they can be worth a lot of money
17:53what is this doing out here oh wow this is a Remington
18:00only one man could capture the wild west and cast it into legend
18:05Frederick Remington froze split second moments of the wild west and turned them into fine art
18:12obsessed with depicting raw action of frontier life Remington studied anatomy horses and action
18:18photography to get every gallop and gun draw just right a rare cast of the sculpture coming through
18:24the rye sold for 1.2 million dollars this could be a huge like right now this is the biggest
18:31potential
18:32for big money and we've got to put in a little homework we're gonna be looking at the dimensions of
18:38it the quality of the casting and like the design of the base and other things to see if this
18:45matches
18:45original Remington sculptures it's a long shot but if this is real this could be worth like a hundred thousand
18:57dollars all right this is the family room uh let's clear around this for now all right we got swords
19:04everywhere man it's kind of crazy how many swords are out here look at this bad boy
19:12my name is Inigo Montoya you killed my father prepare to die
19:21most of your hoarders are doctors lawyers teachers they're really intelligent people
19:26that dabble in hoarding for Roger this was his full-time job oh Polaroid dude based on what I'm
19:33seeing and the stuff we're finding he bought and sold things at auctions constantly to build up his
19:38collections that's the funny thing about hoarding it's the messiest career in the world but like
19:44you have to understand and respect that the bigger the mess the better he was at it
19:51we found over a dozen different types of swords in the living room so I'm gonna go outside to try
19:56to sell them to make some space and to make some money all right man how you doing doing pretty
20:01well I heard you want some swords oh yeah yeah not really a sword fighter per se but I think
20:07they'd
20:07look good on the wall all right well I'm thinking 600 on the lot what do you think about uh
20:13500 500
20:15you got a deal man all right congrats dude thank you thank you man I appreciate it
20:25it took two full grueling days but Kalen and the junk team were able to turn that skinny goat trail
20:30into a six foot wide path so now we can get trash out faster and we can start getting more
20:35people
20:35inside to hunt and Mike is finally out of the cold and starting to work inside hey Mike what's up
20:42man
20:43I can finally see you dude I feel like it's been days it has been days but we're making progress
20:48dude
20:48we've been at it for two days and we've only just begun making a dent in the main level we
20:53really need
20:53to pick up the pace if we want to get upstairs to hunt for Uncle Roger's gold we're working on
20:57getting a space where we can get this art out my hair looks horrible it looks like I got a
21:04hat that is
21:04my hair Mike is getting started on the kitchen and Chris and Kalen and I continue to pick through
21:09the living room and the dining rooms we can probably remake this movie guys we'll move it the secret of
21:15treasure mountain all right let me move this stuff holy crap this is a Remington just sitting right in
21:26front of us it's one outside too right there's a five foot one outside dude this is big deal I
21:33think
21:34I found another Remington oh is that another Remington that's another Remington if these are real we're
21:42looking at at least two hundred thousand dollars and I know exactly how to find out all right so one
21:48of
21:48the the old wives tales is that if you hit it with metal it'll ring like a bell if it
21:58thuds it's fake here
22:00goes nothing these could be real Remington all right so one of the old wives tales is that if you
22:12hit it
22:12with metal it'll ring like a bell if it thuds it's fake that does not sound like a I think
22:29we got a fake
22:31in this job I see a lot of forgeries the top three are Pokemon Rolexes Remington statues they're number three
22:40here's the good news fake Rolex isn't worth anything fake Pokemon isn't worth anything fake Remington
22:46it's about two grand so I'm cool two grand for these man then I got one more coming your way
22:51we ended up
22:52finding nearly 20 smaller Remington reproductions this is absolutely not real if they were real we'd be looking
23:00at a massive payday but even the reproduction these Remingtons are still really nice bronze statues they
23:05still have some real good value which I'll happily take to help offset our extensive clean out cost on
23:10this project hey I'm Mike hey Melissa thanks for coming out Melissa you got to say this is pretty
23:15awesome that's why I drove two hours it's beautiful this mid-century modern swung glass is amazing take a
23:22look we have around about 40 pieces they were scattered all over the house and yard but we found them
23:28cleaned them up and here they are all different sizes colors designs these are these are absolutely
23:34gorgeous pieces yeah they just glow beautifully in the light it lights up a whole room absolutely
23:42what I would really love to do is work out a deal for everything I'm at $3,200 would you
23:52do 25 I'll tell
23:54you what I'll come down to $2,900 if that helps you out yeah let's do it all right here
24:00you go okay thank
24:02you so much we need to keep these sales strong if we're gonna make any profits we just sold our
24:07first
24:07target item and that's great but we still have a long way to go to make our goal it's day
24:16four at six
24:17me and the guys are finding treasures everywhere and the junk team are still picking scrap and filling
24:22dumpsters I'm at $500 for the pair would you do 400 you got a deal my man there you go
24:27all right
24:28thanks sir thank you it's been three full days and we still are working on the first floor Mike and
24:33Kalen are picking through the kitchen while Chris finishes up the living room and dining rooms I'm
24:38going to focus on the stairs and our quest to get to Uncle Roger's bedroom to find his buried gold
24:43all right I do see stairs okay I figured it out steps start here and then they go right
24:51gold is what gets me going y'all I'm very excited and I started this business because I kind of
24:57felt
24:58like I'm an explorer finding gold and that's what we're doing all right so now I got to go all
25:04the
25:05way to the top I gotta go eight feet up oh my gosh this is crazy I'm gonna try not
25:13to make anything fall on me
25:15you know you know and these are you know a hoarder is gonna fill the house first they fill the
25:20bottom
25:20floor then they fill the main floor now they fill the steps up to the room so then in theory
25:25the quality
25:26of goods should get better and better as we go higher we just need to get up there collector's
25:31plates bane of my existence this was one of those things that years ago people collected because they
25:41thought it was an investment at this point if we can get anything for them I would take it
25:46how you doing boss man you good we're doing it man we're about halfway through it all right just
25:50can't check on you no where'd you find that in a bag this is me for the rest of the
25:56day nice
26:00I mean I'm seeing the wall I can see stairs here I can see wall here I can see the
26:06ceiling
26:06we are making some headway I guess me seeing the floor is how Columbus felt when he finally saw land
26:14I can't believe I'm finally seeing the floor we're getting close
26:28after five more hours of cleaning the stairs we're finally on the second floor of the house
26:33while Mike and Chris keep digging through the kitchen Katelyn and I are ready to attack Uncle
26:37Roger's bedroom look at this man we're walking upstairs let's see what's in here
26:48oh my god this is insane dude hot damn oh my god man I really believe there's money in here
27:00so I'm gonna go look that way see what I can find this is the most epic horde ever you
27:08gotta
27:08understand we walked into this room we can't see anything except the ceiling we got to clear all
27:13this out if I go down there I don't know how to get back up there's a reason Roger didn't
27:22let people
27:22into his room this is a fake eyeball they've always said I had a good eye as you know I'm
27:28a little high on
27:28my talent I know I'm good at this but it's hard it's hard to stay positive every time and usually
27:34finding good stuff keeps me going and it's it's been a drought the irony we're in snow and rain and
27:39we're in a drought all right look here's some jewelry I don't think that's real but it'll still
27:46cost them uh-oh what please tell me this is gold uh-oh what might have just found me something
28:07good
28:08look at this please tell me this is gold oh that's a powder dude all right I mean this could
28:19be sand or this could be gold dust I'm not saying it is I'm just gonna hold it but I'm
28:25not ready to
28:25say it's not all right well I'm gonna hold on to this no no I'll hold on to that you
28:30sure yeah I'm
28:31gonna test it but we know this guy was really into gold panning this is in the back of the
28:36room it
28:36took us almost four days to get here I mean everything tells me that this should be gold he's
28:41put it right at the hardest place to get to so I've got a kit I'm gonna go check it
28:46to see if it's gold
28:47all right so this is what gold should look like that's gold flake now when you compare this to that
29:04flake so real gold dust should look warm and buttery not sharp and sparkly dude dude this is
29:14definitely gold dust it's not the same type of value as a gold nugget but say I shift all this
29:20out and it's down to one ounce of gold that's still four grand and we need it so the gold
29:27nugget we hope
29:28for is actually gold dust and that won't move the needle on making our goal in this house I got
29:34really
29:34excited there I was banking on that gold to be a big piece of their profits so this puts us
29:40in a really
29:40bad spot if we want to make any money oh this is genuine fake that's great clearing out this house
29:50and seven surrounding acres is busting the bank the clean out costs alone are fifty thousand dollars and
29:56this is the first job where I'm like I don't know if we can pull this off and I got
30:00to keep that to
30:00myself because if it looks like I don't think we can do it then we definitely can't do it
30:04all right well I'm finding money but not the money I want to find
30:11it's day five and the team is nearly done clearing the rooms we need to find anything valuable so we
30:17can make a Hail Mary sale and reach our goal Kalen is upstairs working on the bedroom and Mike and
30:22Chris are in the kitchen these are pretty cool oh yeah I mean shoot we've got to have 30 or
30:28more
30:29steins and Toby mugs there's one thing you're gonna drink out of this and it is that you're
30:34mourning coffee you can't trust much but a cold pint never lies the cousin of the beer stein Toby mugs
30:42originated in the 1700s in England as beer and ale cups modeled after real and fictional characters
30:48they're still highly collectible to this day a mug made in the 1780s recently sold at auction for
30:55$110,000 I think for the whole lot for the mugs and the steins we're looking at about $1,500
31:02it's
31:03not bad it's definitely not bad well the guys are working inside I need to make some serious sales in
31:11the yard we got the large Remington's checked out looks like they're also reproductions but still the
31:16one thing people need to understand about Remington's is you see them all over the place 90% of them
31:21are
31:21reproductions this is one of the few items where the reproductions are still very valuable they
31:27still sell and I know the perfect buyer to call this guy really knows his stuff he's down in Texas
31:33and he pretty much buys every Remington I find anywhere in the country all right George I'm
31:37looking at all these yeah I sent you pictures on everything there's about 20 reproductions in total
31:42most are the medium size and there's a few larger ones here's this awesome one dude look at this big
31:47one that thing is what is it almost four feet you know it's neck-high for me and this thing
31:56was out
31:56in the yard of this massive seven acre horde and I mean this is literally of everything I've ever
32:03cleaned man this is the most epic horde I've ever cleaned in my 25 year career so I'm thinking like
32:08$40,000 for the whole set I mean if I could just take a look at the big one again
32:15yeah great okay
32:16and I'm gonna turn it around on a second I wish he had a couple more of the big ones
32:20dude me too
32:21believe me but I do have this tall one and all his friends and they can be yours for $40
32:26,000
32:31yeah that sounds good all right dude I think I'm gonna do my virtual handshake man I'll send you
32:36some wire information and send it over as soon as we got the wire we'll put it on the truck
32:40for
32:40you the truck's on its way I'll send you a text as soon as he gets there thanks man all
32:45right
32:54it's our last day with a $50,000 clean out and the inside of the property hasn't yielded as many
33:00valuables as I had hoped so right now I need Mike selling everything he can from the front yard
33:05because we didn't come here to do all this work just to break even or even worse lose money
33:12hi Mike Mike nice to meet you by my count there's 150 pieces scattered throughout the property
33:19cast iron marble stone wrought iron all kinds of architectural salvage and sculpture pieces
33:26some big heavy pieces like this some smaller pieces yeah Mike clue me in here I've heard rumors
33:33that you have something to do with all of the architectural salvage that's in this yard for the
33:38most part yes over the decades Roger attended our auctions that we had and also at at my store in
33:48Smokane so you're the auctioneer and he would come and bid on these lots correct when he would come in
33:55we knew we were probably gonna have a pretty good night because once he got a bead on something to
34:02take home he was taking it home is there any particular reason you want to buy this stuff back to
34:07decorate and to resell amazing the great thing about working with an auctioneer like this is that
34:13he knows the value of these items and he knows this is big money you know this one right here
34:19I think
34:19weighs about a ton and it's probably worth about three thousand dollars that being said with a whole
34:25yard full of them there's a lot of value here so what I'd really love to do is work out
34:30a deal for
34:30everything right right now I'm at eighty thousand dollars since the gold nugget that we were hoping
34:38to find turned out to be gold dust we need a big sale here if we're gonna turn any profit
34:43in the grand
34:44scheme of things I think there's a lot of value in this yard so eighty thousand dollars what do you
34:51say
35:05my stepdad collects steins and decanters and he's from Germany he has a bar in his house so I had
35:13to
35:13run down here to see what you wanted for everything how about eighteen hundred you got a deal all right
35:18thank you it's our last day and we're making our final sales the team has finished clearing the last
35:25room in the house Uncle Roger's bedroom and we're about to hand the home back to Adrian and Tim walking
35:32up a sidewalk this time didn't know that there was a sidewalk here I mean we had to kind of
35:38walked
35:38around this way right I can't believe you can see the porch and there's a front yard you ready to
35:47see
35:47the house I can't wait here you go door now opens oh my check it out look at the stairs
35:57look at the
35:58foyer I didn't know that there was a foyer in this house I had to climb up books here and
36:06then crawl
36:07through a little hole right here to get up a tiny path there was boxes and books going all the
36:12way
36:12to the roof yeah and now it's just this big huge space it's crazy are you guys ready to go
36:18sit in
36:18the kitchen we are ready all right oh my god I've never seen the countertops oh I mean this is
36:26an
36:26old school 50s kitchen I'll tell you that yeah I remember my grandmother loved yellow I didn't know
36:33there was an island in the kitchen never seen the sink the stove and the windows I remember they were
36:41so
36:41bright the light that comes in that I remember as a child is just the brightness and the excitement of
36:50the day and family and what the day was going to hold there is still more go check out the
36:57dining room look at this
37:02this is amazing this is a beautiful room for what came out of this house it's in pretty good shape
37:09and we probably took a million pounds of trash out of this house wow that's amazing it is amazing
37:14look at how big this is oh I love it this room means a lot to me because this is
37:23where the family
37:25would spend time the house is so wide open it brings back all my memories of being a kid and
37:32being in
37:32the house with the family it's really special some of my favorite childhood memories are from here this
37:40place brings me a lot of peace I hope we've cleared enough space for you to have those memories again
37:44and you don't think of it as a hoarded house you think of it as a place your family was
37:48you've made
37:49that possible then my job is done oh my gosh I can't believe it this was a doozy you guys
37:58this one was
37:59something else this is just a miracle that it looks like this we didn't come down this hall never
38:07not allowed nope all right I've never seen his room well officially I will allow it go into your
38:13uncle's room okay holy cow and the view out the window we had no idea they were hardwood floors it's
38:21beautiful I have goosebumps yeah I'm gonna be honest this was the hardest job I've ever done this house
38:27we never could have done this by ourselves I don't know that anybody could have done it by
38:33themselves I mean it took him 67 years to fill this place right was his lifetime and we didn't
38:38want it to be our lifetime amen to that all right let's head back downstairs so we can talk final
38:43numbers okay I'm ready after you this has probably been the most challenging horde we've ever done from
38:48the rain to the snow all these massive piles trying to climb upstairs through tunnels everything that
38:55could be a challenge was it's almost like we this was like the SATs of hoarding you thought there
39:00was good stuff here there was good stuff here he definitely had an eye in fact I actually found an
39:06eyeball upstairs it wasn't his we sold all those Remington statues beer steins books bunch of that swung
39:15glass the gold nugget we were looking for it turned out to be gold dust oh what absolutely put us
39:22over the
39:22top was the architectural salvage $70,000 we got a deal deal thank you my friend Mike sold those
39:30amazing urns and all that salvage for $70,000 wow grand total of sales $150,000 we pulled out of
39:40the
39:40front yard and the house oh my gosh you're kidding no our cleanup costs were at 50,000 that left
39:47us a
39:47hundred thousand dollars to split could you do 60 40 I could but I won't 50 50 50 so for
39:54you guys
39:55that's 50 thousand dollars and I am happy to give you a whole bunch of cash that's amazing this job
40:08was insane but the weather was probably as big a deal as the horde snow rain sleet hail but dude
40:17I'd do it
40:18again I'd do it tomorrow I can't thank you guys enough for the opportunity to do this job it was
40:23life-changing for us and we're not quite there that no no I think we have something we'd like to
40:28show you
40:29if you have a little time I mean I am exhausted I thought we were done but sounds like we
40:34may have
40:35more to do what's back here welcome to the three forks pioneer village museum no my uncle Roger built
40:48every building wow we've been here for a week and we're just now showing we really didn't want to
40:53scare you away pretty good strategy wow he threw us a curveball so what what's the goal here what
41:01were you before we same goal we want to clean it out and sell the property I just finished one
41:05of the
41:06hardest hordes of my career and now I'm looking at another hardest job of my career you know this is
41:13like crossing the finish line of a marathon and then walking 10 feet to the starting line of another
41:19this is an insane job I don't even know what to say
