00:00Stop!
00:01Don't buy a Nintendo Switch 2 until you've seen this.
00:04This is the GameSir Pocket Taco, a $35 controller that turns your phone into a Gameboy.
00:11Kind of.
00:12Slap it on the bottom of your phone, and after a little bit of Bluetooth pairing, you have
00:16a fully-fledged Gameboy-style gamepad that's perfect for playing your favourite legally-owned
00:22Gameboy games.
00:23On the front you've obviously got the D-pad, a B and A button, a start and select, and
00:28true Gameboy heads will realise that there are two extra buttons here, Y and X.
00:32This means that you can play it with Gameboy Advance games, DS games, and basically anything
00:37that you can get working on this vertical screen.
00:40Flip the controller over and you have two shoulder buttons and two triggers, which really widens
00:44out the compatibility of this controller.
00:46If you look on the top here you'll see that you have a charging port where you can top
00:49up its integrated battery, and four LED indicators that tells you how full it is.
00:54But what's it actually like to use?
00:55Well, I've been trying it out all afternoon instead of actually doing my job.
00:59And I've been having a pretty good time.
01:01The controls are really crisp and responsive, and it's just like playing a Gameboy.
01:05And for 35 bucks, I don't think you can go wrong.
01:08What do you think?
01:08Will you be picking up the Pocket Taco?
01:10Let me know in the comments.
01:12And no, it's not edible.
01:13I did try it.
01:14I did try it.
01:14I did try it.
