TEL AVIV, KOMPAS.TV  Perdana Menteri (PM) Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu mengungkapkan alasan melancarkan serangan ke Iran.    Menurutnya, Israel dikepung Iran beserta milisinya yang tersebar di Lebanon, Iraq, Yaman hingga Gaza.    "Iran mencoba mengepung kita dengan cengkeraman: Hamas di Gaza, Hizbullah di Lebanon, rezim Assad di Suriah, milisi di Irak, Houthi di Yaman, dan Iran sendiri. Dengan kata lain, mereka berusaha mencekik kita--dan sekarang kita mencekik mereka. Mereka mengancam kita dengan kehancuran," ujar Netanyahu, Minggu (12/4/2026).    Selain itu, Netanyahu klaim serangan Israel untuk menghancurkan senjata nuklir milik Iran.
