00:00I apologise. I apologise for the impression that has been given, that Stark and Downey Street take this less than
00:09seriously. I'm sickened myself and furious about that.
00:15But I repeat what I have said to him, that I have been repeatedly assured that the rules were not
00:25broken, and I understand the pain of everybody who has suffered throughout this pandemic.
00:31And I know that the implication that he is trying to draw, that the case that we're now investigating somehow
00:41should undermine public confidence in the measures that we're taking.
00:46I think that's the point that he's trying to make. But I may say to him, Mr Speaker, I think
00:50it is a great mistake to try to play politics with this issue.
00:54We are taking the steps necessary to protect the public, above all, Mr Speaker, by rolling out the vaccinations, rather
01:04than focusing on the events of a year ago, Mr Speaker.
01:07That is what we are focusing on, and that is what I think the public will understand.
