Now he’s in New York, working as a bartender, hanging with his girlfriend Yvonne, and trying to live a normal life. At least that’s the plan. Then his neighbor Russ shows up with a request: cat-sitting for a few days. Sure. How bad can it be?  Turns out, that cat invitation is basically a VIP pass to gang trouble. Thuggish strangers start showing up at Hank’s place, each one acting like Hank owes them something he never agreed to. What starts as “watch the cat” quickly turns into “figure out why your front door is suddenly a crime scene.” And the worst part? Hank has to think fast, because this stops being about the animal and becomes a straight-up survival situation. ---------- Hank Thomas war früher so ein Highschool-Shootingstar, der alle reden ließ. Heute mixt er Drinks in New York, liebt seinen Sport und hätte eigentlich gerne einfach ein ruhiges Leben. Bis sein Nachbar Russ klingelt und ihn bittet, ein paar Tage auf dessen Katze aufzupassen. Klingt harmlos. Ist es nicht. Denn sobald der Stubentiger “einzieht”, tauchen zwielichtige Typen auf, als hätte jemand einen Hinterhof-Razzia-Alarm ausgelöst. Alle wollen plötzlich etwas von Hank. Und Hank merkt schnell: Das hier ist nicht nur Katzensitting, das ist ein Problem, das bis ganz unten durchschlägt. Plötzlich geht es um mehr als Nerven. Es geht um sein Leben. Sauberer Stress, wenig Ausreden.
