Wenn nachts plötzlich eine Mauer aus Ziegeln das komplette Apartmenthaus zuschiebt, ist das erste, was man denkt: „Okay, das ist entweder Magie oder richtig schlechte Planung.“ Tim und Olivia merken schnell, dass sie allein gar nichts hinkriegen. Also wird aus Nachbarschaftstalk ein Überlebens-Workshop. Und ja, das bedeutet auch: Leute, die sich vorher kaum gegrüßt haben, müssen plötzlich zusammenarbeiten, während die Zeit drängt und der Ausgang irgendwo hinter dem Unmöglichen lauert. Brick macht aus einem simplen Horror-Setup eine Art Nachbarschaftskrimi mit Zwangskooperation. Nicht besonders subtil, aber immerhin konsequent: Durchbeißen, verhandeln, improvisieren. Und wenn die Logik mal wackelt, tut sie das mit Ziegelstaub im Blick.
