African charity sues British royal Prince Harry for defamation

A charity co-founded by Prince Harry in Africa to honor his late mother, Princess Diana, has sued him for defamation after he stepped down as a patron last year.

00:10But on Friday, court papers revealed that the charity sued the British Royal for defamation last month.
00:17It said that the lawsuit allegedly followed coordinated media attacks that undermined the charity.
00:24Prince Harry stepped down from his role at the charity last year after severe disagreements over a new fundraising strategy
00:32between the charity's board and chairwoman Sophie Chandoka.
00:36The dispute even led to an investigation by the Charity Commission for England and Wales,
00:42which found that all parties involved were at fault for letting the row play out in public.
00:47Prince Harry and Prince Cecil, the other co-founder, left the charity at that point.
