00:03Europe continues to stand in full solidarity with you
00:07because we've seen Belarus' cynical and inhuman instrumentalization of migrants.
00:13Over the past years we have deployed Frontex personnel
00:17and mobilized 63 million euros in additional funding for border surveillance.
00:23We continue to closely monitor the situation at the border.
00:27However, these hybrid attacks carried out against our member states
00:31are all more reasons why we need a swift political agreement on two key proposals.
00:39The one is the pact of migration and asylum.
00:41This is key to have the common rules in the European Union.
00:45And the other one is indeed the revision of the multi-annual EU budget, the so-called MFF,
00:51where we have also a top-up for migration.
00:54So we have a lot to discuss.
00:56It is all in preparations of the summits that are coming up,
01:00the European political community,
01:03then we have the informal summit in Granada,
01:05and afterwards we have the formal European Council here in Brussels.
