00:00But these are my early picks.
00:01The first one you'll be unsurprised to hear is Xander Chauffele.
00:04Great recent form, strong Masters form.
00:06His green in regulations numbers at Augusta,
00:09which is a really important stat for success at Augusta National,
00:11are pretty impressive as well.
00:14He was fourth in 2025, 12th in 2024,
00:17and third in 2023 in terms of his green in regulation numbers.
00:22He ranks fifth for strokes game team to green in the last 12 months.
00:25He's top 12 for par 5 scoring in each of the past three years at Augusta National.
00:29All of those stats are really promising.
00:31He's under the radar.
00:32He's got great form coming into the event,
00:34and I think he could be a bit of a dark horse for this year's tournament.
00:39Rahm is my second guy.
00:40As I mentioned, I don't really know how that live form translates across to other tours,
00:46but you can't ignore the fact that the guy's had five consecutive top fives,
00:50including a win and a couple of runner-ups.
00:52He's a former champion, ranks third off the tee,
00:55second for strokes game team to green,
00:56and top 25 for strokes gained approach and strokes gained around the green
01:01in the last 12 months,
01:02which is a perfect profile for an Augusta champion.
01:06I think he's playing his best golf that he's played for a while right now,
01:09and we know that when Rahm plays his best golf,
01:11he has a great chance at Augusta National,
01:13so that's why I'd be considering him.
01:16Bryson DeChambeau, he has got back-to-back wins prior to the Masters.
01:19He has an improving Masters record with his sixth and fifth place finish.
01:23He ranks first off the tee and third tee to green for the last 12 months.
01:27If Bryson continues to work out with his scientific brain
01:30about how to play Augusta National,
01:32the rest of the field are in trouble,
01:33because I think he definitely wins a green jacket at some point in the future.
