Transcript
00:00Patrick Reid finished second last year.
00:01Everyone forgot he shot, I don't know, 64 on the last day
00:05and was a couple back of Rose and McElroy.
00:07His master's record is frightening, Patrick Reid.
00:10And he's got two wins already this season.
00:11As I mentioned, previous champ at Augusta.
00:14Tenth for green in regulation last year,
00:16which I said is obviously an important stat.
00:17But if you look at his DP World Tour stats card this year,
00:20he's eight for par five scoring,
00:21first for tee to green, six for scrambling.
00:23He needs a solid week off the tee
00:25because he can sometimes put himself in difficult positions that way.
00:29But he has plenty of experience to play around that course
00:32and that sort of adds a lot to his claim.
00:35I've gone down a bit of a Minwoo Lee rabbit hole as well
00:38and I must say I'm a bit obsessed.
00:40Interesting, go on, expand.
00:41He ranks seventh for strokes gained total in the last three months,
00:45thirteenth for strokes gained tee to green,
00:47eighteenth around the green.
00:48He plays these types of surfaces really well,
00:50those with tight lies.
00:52He's been a runner-up at Pebble,
00:53he was twelfth at Riviera,
00:55he was sixth at the Arnold Palmer.
00:57He's got a 14th place finish at the Masters in the past.
01:00He ranks second for par five scoring average on the PGA Tour this year.
01:03There's so many things to like about him.
01:05And the last one you might be surprised to know
01:08is a gentleman called Jacob Bridgman.
01:10Keep seeing this man's name popping up every single week.
01:14Yeah, 4-1 in 2026 is arguably one of the best on the PGA Tour.
01:18The guy is just banking top tens at literally every event
01:22and he's won at Riviera.
01:24I've already mentioned how important the correlation is
01:26between Riviera Country Club and Augusta National
01:28and winning the Genesis is a big tick in his box.
01:31His first free putt avoidance is one of the best putt on the PGA Tour.
01:36Thirty-third for greens in regulation,
01:37he's fairly accurate and he's not short of the tee,
01:39which is important.
01:40Does Jacob Bridgman go and win the Masters on debut?
01:42I would say probably not.
01:44Is he a great bet in a top 20 market
01:47or in a top debutant market?
01:48Yeah.
01:49Absolutely.
01:50Love that.
01:50Yeah.
01:51Love that.
01:51So I think, keep an eye on Jacob Bridgman.
