01:37Grenada's history is an example to the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean, who, in the face of difficulties,
01:44choose sovereignty and self-determination.
01:46I am very pleased with our working meeting because we have updated the roadmaps that you signed last year with
01:52President Nicolás Maduro.
01:57I am also very pleased that we were able to strengthen areas of cooperation and education covering subjects such as
02:04energy, hydrocarbons, science, and economy issues.
02:12I am glad that we can have students from Grenada in Venezuela and conduct exchanges in language studies with the
02:18Spanish teacher coming to Venezuela and English teachers going to our country.
02:26In this scenario, the Prime Minister of Grenada, Deacon Mitchell, agreed with the Acting President of Venezuela, Delos Rodriguez, to
02:32set up working groups to strengthen cooperation in strategic areas such as energy, agricultural, education, and trade.
02:38We intend to action many of those items by having dedicated focal groups from both the Grenada and the Venezuela
02:48side, and so we are quite happy with the outcome of this working meeting,
02:54and we look forward to actioning and implementing those areas for the mutual benefit of the government and people of
03:02Venezuela and the government and people of Grenada.
03:06The Acting President, Delos Rodriguez, also emphasizes that cooperation mechanisms serve as a role model for other Caribbean countries to
03:13follow.
03:17I believe it is very important to emphasize that this is how differences between countries are resolved, through bilateral, peaceful,
03:25and political diplomacy.
03:27I believe we are setting an example and providing guidance in the face of all the disputes of this nature.
03:36Today, we have set a start date for a major cooperation work agenda between our countries,
03:41and we hope that this bilateral work agenda can later include other Caribbean countries.
