00:01I can't resist temptation, nature's invitation.
00:06Sun and love are calling, so what's the use of stalling?
00:11Going back to nature, back where I belong.
00:16Going back to nature, cause I love nature's song.
00:21I won't have a worry, I won't have a care.
00:25When I go back to nature, I'll meet my true love there.
00:30Cause I'm a nature girl at heart, I'm a nature girl at heart.
00:35And I can't deny the fact that all I wanna do is go back to nature.
00:44Cause I'm a nature girl, it's true, I'm a nature girl, it's true.
00:49And when I wanna chase the blues, I just kick off my walkin' shoes.
00:54Cause I'm a nature girl, it's true.
00:58I hear the voice of nature calling to me.
01:03I hear the voice of nature calling to me.
01:08And beneath the swaying palms, the lover waits with outstretched arms.
01:13I hear the voice of nature calling to me.
01:19Nature's where you'll find me, nature's where I'll be.
01:23With my woes behind me, I'm ashamed and free.
01:28I'm going back to nature, back where I belong.
01:33Going back to nature, cause I love nature's song.
01:37And I'm a nature girl at heart.
01:47I know these photographs are good.
01:50But somehow I feel we should be looking for something,
01:55something all a little bit different.
01:59Tell me, what do you want?
02:02Oh, I don't know.
02:05I want photographs that'll make the public sit up and just gasp.
02:12I can't stand much more of this.
02:16Blaze, listen.
02:17A photograph must talk.
02:19It should say something.
02:20These pictures just say that Blaze Star's a beautiful actress.
02:23That's not enough.
02:25I see what you mean.
02:29I want to cooperate, you know that.
02:33Sid Hanson has some tremendous ideas.
02:37But it means a great deal of work.
02:40But I'm so tired.
02:42I'm so weary.
02:43I've been up since 5 a.m.
02:45And I was in makeup by 6.30.
02:47I know, honey.
02:49It's rough.
02:50And I've been under lights at the studio all day.
02:53Now take it easy.
02:55I'm utterly exhausted.
02:56I don't want anything to happen to the girl I'm going to marry.
03:00If this keeps up, there isn't going to be any me for you to marry.
03:04I don't seem to have any time for myself anymore.
03:07Every minute of every day is filled with something.
03:10I finish at the studio and then I have a million things to do.
03:13And in between there are the autograph seekers.
03:16I can't turn around without someone asking me to sign my name to something.
03:19Oh, you're a good agent.
03:21And I know you've done wonders for my career.
03:23But I've got to have some privacy.
03:25I'm only human.
03:26I know, honey.
03:28I know how hard you've been working.
03:31Try to have a little patience.
03:33As soon as you sign your new contract, we'll take a long vacation.
03:36We'll make it a wonderful honeymoon.
03:38Just the two of us.
03:41Just the two of us?
03:43Are you certain it'll be just the two of us?
03:47Of course.
03:49What do you mean?
03:51I mean that I'll be very surprised if Sid Hanson doesn't tag along.
03:58Now, there's no need to be sarcastic.
04:01Sid's a great press agent.
04:03It's unfair for you to resent him.
04:04He's gotten you a lot of good publicity.
04:06He has no intentions of interfering with our private lives.
04:09Are you sure?
04:11He's already made arrangements to have our wedding covered by the press.
04:15Oh, come on now, honey.
04:17You know that's all part of the game.
04:20Oh, so now our wedding is a game.
04:24Blaze, for Pete's sake, you must be tired.
04:26This isn't like you at all.
04:30I'm sorry, darling.
04:32You're right.
04:33It's just that my nerve's afraid.
04:35I've reached the point where all I want is some privacy.
04:38A chance to be myself.
04:40You know how important publicity is.
04:42Can't you talk about anything but publicity?
04:45What do you want me to talk about?
04:47Oh.
05:08What do you want me to talk about?
05:43Hello.
05:44Hello.
05:45This is Sid Hanson.
05:46Who's this, Tony?
05:47Uh, Blaze there?
05:48Sid, I don't know where she is.
05:51Look, Tony, I really must speak to her.
05:54She left here a few minutes ago and she was really mad.
05:57Well, when do you think I can reach her?
05:59I've got to talk to her.
06:01I really couldn't say, Sid.
06:03She's been in a miserable mood these past weeks.
06:08I don't know what to tell you.
06:09It could be she's working too hard.
06:12Well, what do you think?
06:14I think she's getting temperamental.
06:18Maybe you're right.
06:19Sure, I'm right.
06:21Okay.
06:22Do you think she'll be in later?
06:23I'll try her anyway.
06:24That'll be a good idea.
06:26Okay.
06:27Take it easy, Tony.
06:28Things will work out.
06:30Uh-huh.
06:30So long.
06:31Right.
07:02Look, Sid, I stop.
07:04Oh, Miss Star, can we have your autograph?
07:14What's the matter with her?
07:15If I was a star, I'd be glad to give out autographs.
07:32You, son.
07:43Thanks, sir.
07:46Bye.
07:47Bye.
07:48Bye.
07:49Bye.
07:51Bye.
07:52Bye.
07:53Bye.
07:57Bye.
09:51Believe it or not, I've been to the movies.
09:54And do you know what?
09:57I enjoyed it.
09:59Cut the clowning.
10:00Sid Hanson wants to talk to you about publicity, Phil.
10:04Now, I think you'd better speak to him.
10:06If I hear Sid Hanson's name once more, I'll scream.
10:11Now, Sid said that he wants to...
10:42I can't get that camp into the room.
10:50How pleasant and comfortable, it seemed.
11:12What a wonderful retreat that would be for me.
11:16Imagine, a weekend away from all the rush and pressure of movie making.
11:22No Sid Hanson's, no reporters.
11:26Suntan lotion instead of makeup.
11:28Picnics instead of cocktail parties.
11:33Oh, why shouldn't I go out and at least see the place?
11:38I'll do it.
11:55Homestead.
11:57Homestead.
12:06Homestead.
12:10Homestead.

13:42I wish I knew
14:29Hello there.
14:30Hello.
14:33Can I help you?
14:35I'd like to speak to someone about joining the camp.
14:38I'm the camp director.
14:39Why don't you drive in?
14:41Thanks.
15:12I'm the camp director.
15:19I'm Andy Sims.
15:21My name is Belle Fleming.
15:56Have you ever been here before?
15:58No, I haven't.
16:02I'll show you the grounds and the recreation areas after you tell me a little bit about
16:07yourself.
16:09Of course.
16:10And what would you like to know about me, Mr. Sims?
16:14Let me get an application form.
16:16Do you mind if I look around in the meantime?
16:19Please do.
16:25Oh, this is from the camp.
16:39And we are looking forward to having you as a member of Sunny Palm's Lodge.
16:45Sincerely, Andy Sims, membership director.
16:50It's Friday, and I think I'm entitled to a weekend to myself.
16:55I'll pack a bag and leave for the camp right away before something happens to stop me.
17:04Hello?
17:05This is Sid.
17:06How are you, Blake?
17:07Fine.
17:08What is it?
17:10I want to arrange some publicity still.
17:12Can I see you today?
17:15I'm sorry, Sid, but I'm going away for the weekend.
17:19It's impossible.
17:20Let me come right up, huh?
17:21No.
17:22It won't take long.
17:24Now, come on, how about?
17:25I'm sorry.
17:27But this weekend happens to be very important to me.
17:30But, Blake.
17:31I don't want to discuss it further.
17:34Goodbye, Sid.
17:35Now, wait a minute.
17:45Tony will blow his top at the cocktail party.
17:48We'll just have to get along without him.
18:17We'll just have to get along with him.
18:40We'll just have to get along with him.
19:01I think you'll find it very comfortable and if there's anything you want well I am thirsty

21:44that's quite a startling revelation
21:48I was under the impression that your business was my business
21:52in certain respects it is but this is something I insist on keeping to myself
21:58why all the mystery can't you tell me about it
22:02look darling I don't question your activities

23:48Hello.
23:48Hello, Blaze.
23:49Oh.
23:50Tony.
23:51I wanted to be certain you were home.
23:53Well, I'm about to leave for the weekend.
23:55Now, listen.
23:56I must talk to you.
23:58Can it wait, Tony?
24:00No.
24:00No, it can't.
24:01What is it then?
24:03I'll be right over and discuss it with you then.
24:06I said no, Tony.
24:08Very important.
24:09It can't wait.
24:10Now, I'll be right over.
24:12Well, all right.
24:28The door's open.
24:30Come on in.
24:34Hi.
24:36How are you, honey?
24:40Fine.
24:41Good.
24:43I worry about you.
24:45You know that.
24:50My, you're being sweet to me today.
24:55I'm always sweet to you.
24:59After all, you are my girl, aren't you?
25:04Okay, Tony.
25:06What's on your mind?
25:07I don't know what you mean.
25:09I think you do.
25:13All right.
25:14Have it your way.
25:16I want to know where you've been disappearing to every weekend.
25:19I'm running out of excuses to D.W.
25:21You never attend any of the press functions anymore.
25:24You're not around when you should be for public appearances.
25:27Now, what's this all about?
25:29Listen, Tony.
25:30I told you again and again that weekends are my own.
25:33I will not answer to you or D.W. or anyone else as to what I do with my private
25:38life.
25:39And as for D.W. renewing my contract, well, I'll chance it.
25:43Now, why don't you leave me alone?
25:46You know I'm interested in only what's best for you.
25:51I wonder.
25:55What's come over you?
25:59You've changed.
26:02You wouldn't understand.
26:04I've got to go now.
26:10Blaze!
26:11Wait.
26:32Where are you going?
26:38I'll see you at the studio Monday morning, bright and early.
26:52I close it to you.
26:56Who doesn't have all for us?
27:03What?
27:14Do you see you there?
27:15Close it.
28:56Well, of all the contemptible.
29:00So this is where you've been hiding.
29:03I've heard about this place.
29:05Not hiding.
29:06Just spending the most wonderful weekends of my life.
29:09Have you lost your senses?
29:10But I shouldn't expect you to understand.
29:15I hope you haven't given them your real name.
29:17I certainly have.
29:19No.
29:21Don't get excited.
29:22Don't get excited?
29:24I gave them my real name.
29:27Bell Fleming.
29:29Thank goodness.
29:30You know what'll happen if D.W. finds out about this.
29:33I just don't care.
29:34You can say goodbye to your new contract.
29:37Right now, that doesn't seem very important to me.
29:40What?
29:40That's right.
29:42That's exactly how I feel.
29:43And I do wish that you'd try to understand it.
29:47I'm going in now.
29:49I'm just aching for a swim.
29:51I'll see you on Monday.
29:52Please.
29:53For heaven's sake.
30:24Come on in.
30:26Come on.
30:30Come on.
30:32Come on.
30:35Come on.
31:07Hello. Hi, Blaze. Where's Maddie?
31:10Oh, her sister had a baby, and Maddie went to stay with her in Memphis for two weeks.
31:13I really miss her. She's more my friend than my maid.
31:17Blaze, I want to talk to you.
31:20Oh, only for a minute.
31:24Well, as you can see, I'm just leaving.
31:26Tony called and said he wanted to see me.
31:29What's going on? You don't appear at press or social functions anymore.
31:34I can't reach you on the phone.
31:36I'm sorry. You really have me puzzled.
31:39But I can't help you.
31:41You know, Blaze, I don't think I've ever seen you look so happy.
31:47Why shouldn't I be happy? It's a wonderful world.
31:52Must be love.
31:55Tony's a lucky man.
32:00Hi.
32:01Hello. What did you want to see me about, Tony?
32:04Sit down.
32:09I worry about you.
32:14You needn't worry. I'm fine.
32:17What's happening with us, Blaze?
32:19I can make you happy. I know it.
32:22Can you? I wonder.
32:24Why don't we get married right away?
32:26You'll know that I love you.
32:28You do?
32:29I'm not so sure.
32:31Have dinner with me.
32:32We haven't spent any time together in ages.
32:34I'm sorry, Tony. I can't.
32:36I have a million things to do.
32:37Tomorrow is Friday and I'm off for the weekend.
32:40You've been going away every weekend for the past few months.
32:44What about me?
32:46What about you, Tony?
32:48I'm not going to take much more of this.
32:51Don't. Don't take much more of this.
32:54Maybe we've made a mistake.
32:56Why don't we forget the whole thing?
32:58You'll regret this place.
33:00Maybe I will.
33:01And maybe I won't.
33:10Belle, will you have dinner with me tonight?
33:15Well, I don't know.
33:17Well, I don't know.
33:21I understand.
33:24I'm sorry.
33:26It's all right.
33:28Let's go.
33:47The Gaines is here.
33:48Tell Mr. Gaines to come in.
33:57You wanted to see me, D.W.?
33:59Yes.
34:00Sit down.
34:08I understand Blaze missed the press conference this weekend.
34:12And the cocktail party before that.
34:16You understand how important these functions are?
34:20Especially when they're given in her honor.
34:23What's going on, Tony?
34:25I don't know.
34:26What do you mean you don't know?
34:27You're her agent, aren't you?
34:29Have Blaze here Saturday at 10 a.m.
34:31I'm going away for the weekend.
34:33And I want her contract signed before I leave.
34:36We'll be here.
34:37I'll see to it.
34:38Don't worry about a thing.
34:43Goodbye.
34:44See you on Saturday.
34:50The number you want at Homestead 9732.
34:53Will you get it for me, please?
35:04Hello.
35:05Hello.
35:05I'd like to speak to Belle Fleming.
35:07She's not here right now.
35:08This is Tony Gaines.
35:10I've arranged a meeting with D.W. at his office.
35:13Tell her to be there at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
35:15Bye.
35:20Good morning.
35:21Good morning.
35:22Well, it's nice to see you.
35:26But it seems to me you forgot something.
35:29Blaze Star.
35:30Where is she?
35:34I gather she's not interested in renewing her contract.
35:38Maybe we'd better forget about it.
35:40Oh, no.
35:42She's very anxious to sign her new contract.
35:45Very anxious.
35:46It's just that...
35:49Well...
35:50What's up, Tony?
35:51What's this all about?
35:53Where is Blaze?
35:55I'd like to know where she is right now.
35:57And what's more, I think you know where she is.
36:03Without me, you'd be nothing.
36:05I've made you one of the highest paid actresses in the industry.
36:08I'm not going to let you throw everything away.
36:10D.W. wanted you to sign your new contract this morning before he left for the weekend.
36:14That's why it was so important for you to keep the appointment I set up.
36:18Right now, he's so mad, I doubt he'd accept any new talent from me.
36:21Why, if this keeps up, I...
36:22I'll be out of business.
36:26Out of business?
36:28That's all I mean to you, isn't it?
36:30You're more interested in your 10% commission than you are in me.
36:34Listen, Blaze.
36:37No, you listen.
36:39I'm not going to stand here and have you...
36:41I tried to cooperate because I loved you and thought you loved me.
36:44But obviously I'm wrong.
36:46I'm really nothing more to you than a big fat commission check each month.
36:49Well, I'll never make another picture with you.
36:52You have a contract with me and you'll honor it.
36:54Now, you call D.W.'s office and leave a message that it was your fault and not mine, that you
36:59didn't keep your appointment.
37:00I'll call D.W. all right.
37:03And I'll tell him a few things.
37:07But I don't think you're going to like it.
37:15Get me Tyler.
37:17$5,000, please.
37:21Hello?
37:21I'd like to speak to Mr. Daniel Wolfe, please.
37:24He's not in.
37:25Is there any place I can reach him?
37:26No, there isn't.
37:27Well, when do you expect him back?
37:29Not until after the weekend.
37:30Take a message, then, please.
37:33And make certain that Mr. Wolfe gets this message exactly as I am giving it to you.
37:38This is Blaise Starr calling.
37:40Tell him I'm at the Sunny Palms Lodge, a nudist camp.
37:45Tell him I've been spending my weekends at the lodge for the past number of weeks
37:49and expect to go on spending them here for a long time to come.
37:53And if he thinks that's scandalous and doesn't want to renew my contract,
37:58well, that's all right with me.
38:00Do you have all of that now?
38:03You said Sunny Palms Lodge?
38:06Yes, Mr. Starr.
38:07I believe I have it all.
38:09Good.
38:11And make sure he gets that message accurately.
38:19And now I think we both know where we stand.
38:27Blaise, listen.
38:30Blaise.
38:38Blaise!
38:39D.W.
38:46So this is where you've been spending your weekends?
38:49That's right.
38:51What about you?
38:52I've been coming here for years, but I've been so busy lately that this is the first chance
38:57I've had to come down in a long while.
38:59I find it very relaxing, especially when I'm upset.
39:02And I certainly was upset when you didn't show up at the office today.
39:06Well, this is where you were going for the weekend.
39:13Why are you laughing?
39:14I just called your office and left a message for you that's really funny right now.
39:20But it doesn't matter.
39:21That's all.
39:23I was going to introduce you, but I see you've already met.
39:28Well, Blaise and I have known each other for a very long time.
39:31Blaise?
39:32I thought your name was Belle.
39:35I don't understand.
39:37It's a long, long story.
39:39Tell me about it.
39:41I'll tell you about it when you take me to dinner.
39:45Tonight?
39:46That would be wonderful.
39:49In the meantime, there's a great deal I'd like to talk to you about.
39:53We'll see you later, D.W.
39:54We have a contract to sign.
