Iran just halted all oil tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz—and it's a direct response to Israel's massive strikes in Lebanon.

According to Iranian media, Tehran suspended the strategic waterway after Israel carried out what it called its largest attacks on Lebanon since the war began. The dea-th toll is staggering: at least 254 Unalived and 1,165 wounded in a single day.

This move comes despite a recently announced two-week ceasefire. Under that truce, Iran had agreed to allow limited maritime access. But conflicting positions quickly emerged. Pakistan's Shehbaz Sharif, who mediated the deal, said the ceasefire included "Lebanon and elsewhere." Israeli officials disagree, insisting operations against Hez-bollah in Lebanon are separate and will continue.

Iran's Fars News Agency reported that only two oil tankers were allowed through after the ceasefire—tight control even before the full halt. Now, the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil chokepoint, is effectively closed again.

The ceasefire is fraying. And the world's oil supply is once again in the balance. 🛢️🚫💥
