00:00a beloved teacher gunned down whoever shot her wanted her dead her husband facing tough
00:16questions why not go in the house and make sure she's okay because I was afraid intimate secrets
00:24we were finding out there was some type of a love triangle investigators searching for answers
00:31in the interrogation room did you ever offer to kill Desiree Seinfeld for page to kill anyone
00:41every suspect accused of a crime has the right to remain silent many agree to be interrogated
01:00anyway but they can stop the interview at any moment making it a race against time
01:06justice hangs in the balance
01:10hi ma'am um this is Scott Sunford today at 324 327 and 328 I had three census trips and I've been out of
01:33town with family for a funeral my wife was home okay um I just got home and the board that I have
01:41over my back door has been broken so somebody has forced their way in and I haven't heard back from
01:48my wife I need an officer here now okay and what's your wife's name Desiree Sunford
01:56when I rolled up to the residence I saw somebody had their spotlight on the house and he had a pistol
02:12drawn that person was later identified as Scott Sunford and I asked him what was going on why didn't
02:20you go in he said I don't know what's in there it was a very odd answer to give
02:26I entered the house and I remember walking down the hallway and the first room to my left and there
02:36were bullet casings on the floor to the left I could see the body of Desiree Sunford she was partially
02:47dressed I believe she was in a nightgown pretty bloody I could see bullet holes in her body she had been
02:53shot numerous times it wasn't a burglary that had gone bad whoever shot her wanted her dead at that
03:05point when I had an exit of the house and walked over to mr. Sunford and told him that there was a
03:14deceased woman in the house we believe it it's your wife I'm I remember telling I'm terribly sorry I'm
03:20terribly sorry his stone-cold look on his face it seemed like it meant nothing to him and I told
03:30this detectives when they arrived on scene I think this guy knows something about this either he did
03:35it or he knew who did deputies are still trying to paint the picture of what led to the shooting of
03:43Desiree Sunford the life of the beloved art teacher gone Desiree Sunford was a 30 year old
03:53middle school art teacher who had a wonderful smile she had a great personality Desiree was a very bubbly
04:00person she liked comedy she loved to laugh she loved music everything about her was that upbeat
04:10personality she had very specific traits that made her highly qualified as a teacher she seemed to make
04:19connections with the kids like she was one of them she was well liked by her co-workers the kids in the
04:28school district just a very good very nice genuine person she was smart she was outgoing and she loved her
04:38motorcycle we don't get that many teachers that want to ride bikes she was into it instantly almost
04:47like the first big ride it'd be 20 30 mile ride we went on she's where we're going now she really liked
04:53it Desiree Sunford's death is being felt here at Wapato Middle School I couldn't imagine what somebody
05:00would have wanted to kill her for what what purpose there was behind it I was dumbfounded it kind of didn't
05:08make any sense because where we live right here of a robbery or something here and there but a break-in
05:12but nothing nothing like that I think everybody was wondering what was going on and nobody really
05:18knew I mean they were getting bits and pieces and nobody really wanted to assume anything
05:38Scott Sunford was a big guy about six foot five very neatly groomed he was a 31 year old veteran in the
05:52National Guard he actually worked at the local training center for the military base here in Yakima County
05:58I've never seen that in any of the cases I've worked where they're trying to psych themselves up or calm
06:26themselves down to prepare them for an interview we want him to feel comfortable and see what we can
06:47start locking him into some kind of a story are you going to keep talking to me now about what happened
06:53out at your house of course okay as much as I can I mean I can't help you too much I wasn't there but
06:58well I wasn't either and I just got here so that's where I'm asking you to jump in and help me fill in
07:06the blanks as far as what led us out there Scott informed us that he had gone down to the Tri-Cities
07:14which is about an hour and a half two hours south of Yakima to attend a funeral and he attended the funeral
07:21Saturday afternoon and then he had called Desiree he said he was going to spend the night down there
07:26I told her you know I it's kind of rainy it's windy tired as hell long day and they want to do a
07:35breakfast to get together in the morning I'm gonna stay here for the night and did she indicate that
07:41anything was wrong or everything seemed okay no it was fine it was just a quick uh hi yeah it looks
07:48like I'm gonna stay it's okay it's going kind of long love you talk to you soon see you tomorrow you
07:55know you mentioned that you got a bunch of alarm hits on your through your phone at like three in the
08:02morning he received texts from the alarm company saying something had gone wrong or something tripped the
08:09alarm all along the drive home I just kept calling her randomly trying to get a hold of her my stomach
08:17was churning I was shaking I I had convinced myself by that point something had to be wrong okay and so
08:26why not go in the house and check things out and make sure she's okay because I was afraid
08:33what were you afraid of when I saw that back door I I just couldn't decide whether whether I could deal
08:46with what I may or may not see it didn't make sense that a husband would stand back and not go into the
08:56house to see if his wife's hurt or injured you said you were in the military yeah 13 years 13 years
09:06did you get deployed in combat areas yeah we had a couple deployments we're out Iraq all right well I'm
09:14just thinking you're you're a big guy you're a 6'4 somewhere up there 6'4 250 you you've got a firearm on you you've been in combat I mean you've done some serious
09:29that most people will never do so if anyone's going to be willing to go charge it in the house and make
09:37sure their wife's okay it would seem to me that it would be you well it's not that I was afraid of
09:44anybody being in there yeah I'll take on a hundred people for her that's fine yeah that wasn't the
09:52concern it was her you just don't want to see what may have happened to her yeah what did you think you
10:04might see the human inside roll around a thousand of the worst things you could think of in my 30-year
10:14career I have never seen anything like this for a guy his size stature and arm but the 45 to wait for
10:20a police officer to show up to check on the welfare of his wife and then his reaction after finding out
10:26that she had been shot multiple times it was dead on the floor things were not adding up but he was
10:33telling us it just it stunk something was wrong here hello everyone the timeline might be the key
10:51to solving the murder of a local art teacher they found her shot to death in her home on North St. Hilaire
10:57road Sunday night deputies only went there after getting a call from her husband he told them he was
11:02out of town and he was worried after not hearing anything from her in more than a day
11:07how long have you two been married 10 in november okay wow
11:16met in middle school started dating in high school
11:36he's not like he's in shock he's understanding everything we have to say but he's just not showing
11:43any emotion no anger no sorrow it's just just not right
11:49you left Yakima about 0 8 30 on Saturday and drove down to the tri cities and you were there all day at the funeral with your family then you stayed at your dad's in Kennewick
11:56no I actually stayed with a friend but uh
12:17I see
12:24what's the friend's name oh her name's Paige she's a mutual friend
12:35what time do you think you arrived at Paige's house
12:43I'd say 12 30 ish she had already um went and laid down so I had to go wake her butt up
12:55did uh did uh Desiree know that you were going to Paige's
13:00I don't know honestly
13:03it's not something you had discussed with her
13:06no
13:06no Paige would come stay with us we'd stay with her
13:11was it uh just a platonic friendship or were you did you have an actual relationship with Paige
13:23you know I shouldn't go there because it's kind of rude but uh
13:26well Des didn't want me to say anything to anybody
13:32but at one point her and Paige had a a little thing going for a while there
13:38a little experiment
13:40okay so it was Desiree and Paige you had the sexual relationship
13:44yeah
13:45and but not you and Paige or
13:48we all did
13:49sometimes you and Paige too
13:50honestly we all did
13:51we're in the beginning of this investigation as we learn more and more
13:58we were finding out there was some type of a love triangle
14:01Paige Blades was a 23 year old mistress to Scott Sunford
14:08so it sounds like you and Desiree had a pretty open relationship
14:13generally no
14:14generally no just with her
14:17just with her there was a special relationship with Paige
14:20yeah
14:20so you don't think it would probably would not have bothered Desiree to know that you were going to stay with Paige
14:28no and honestly we didn't even do anything I was out on the couch anyways because
14:33we felt that we were not getting the full story
14:36it's a relationship between a mistress and a gentleman and that he's his wife is dead
14:42okay how much is he involved or how much she involved or are they both involved
14:46so we can about wrap it up here it's 332 hours on april 8th 2013
15:01the team drove to interview Paige and to get any type of background she could tell us about her relationship with Scott and the activities from that weekend
15:08the team drove to interview Paige and to get any type of background she could tell us about her relationship with Scott and the activities from that weekend
15:27I understand that you're a friend of Scott and Desiree
15:33yeah
15:35um I met Scott in February 2011
15:42and we became friends
15:46um I met his wife Desiree in May of the same year
15:51she was very cooperative very fortright
15:55uh didn't seem to be concerned about us knowing about her relationship with Scott
16:00so you were involved in a sexual relationship with Scott and Desiree knew about it
16:08I was also sexual with her as well
16:10when was the last time that you saw Scott
16:13Saturday
16:14he came um he had a funeral in Tracy's
16:19to be real honest with you
16:32your story seems almost too clean
16:37and perhaps coached from Scott
16:40um because your stories match too well
16:44if you know anything regarding this death
16:49and you're trying to make up a story or protect Scott
16:53the truth is going to come out eventually
16:56Paige Blades became a person of interest after the interview
17:02the crime lab determined that the shoe sizes were between a 12 and a 14 man's size
17:24and also a Dr. Soles tread
17:26we did look at a number of shoes that we found in the Sunford residence
17:31and none of those matched the type of shoe and the size in the print that it would leave
17:37we still felt that Scott was involved
17:41but without any physical or hard evidence
17:44it's going to be hard to put him at the crime scene
17:46so we started collecting cell phone data
17:49and as much information on Scott that we could find
17:53we suspected that Paige maybe was giving him an alibi
18:04that he maybe was not there that evening
18:07but his phone was not anywhere near the residence at the time of the homicide
18:13even though he's still our number one person of interest
18:16it just wasn't connecting him to the crime at the time
18:20we looked at all sorts of the relationship
18:22financial, personal, relationships, friends, neighbors
18:27we were coming up with nothing that would indicate
18:30there was a major problem in the marriage
18:33to a point where someone would be killed
18:35what I want for Christmas is an end to this nightmare
18:56that was Connie Cass' Christmas wish last year
18:59her daughter dead, her daughter's murderer nowhere to be found
19:03somebody out there knows something
19:08a tip came through the local Crime Stoppers telephone network
19:28and the person told us that the name of the shooter
19:32was a Marty Grismer
19:33and that he had killed Desiree Sunford
19:36we had not heard that name anywhere in the investigation
19:40we needed to confirm how this person that was calling us
19:44knew about this stuff
19:45and it turned out that it was Paige Blade's phone number
19:49if she knew this information
19:52why didn't she call us directly
19:54things are just not adding up
19:56this blue house on North St. Hilaire Road
20:08turned from a married couple's home
20:10into a crime scene
20:11and now an empty reminder
20:16of the murder of Desiree Sunford
20:19Desiree was a wonderful young woman
20:22she had a lot to look forward to
20:24she was so kind to everyone
20:26and openly warm that this world needed her
20:30hi Paige
20:47long time no see
20:48long time no see
20:49we're trying to get Paige to open up
20:51we're trying to help get this weight off her shoulders
20:54did a little research
21:03based on the information that you sent us
21:07and found a picture of Marty Grismer
21:14is that the gentleman that we're talking about?
21:16yes
21:16Paige told us that Marty is a friend of hers
21:24that they work together
21:26and he kind of takes care of her
21:28Marty was my best friend
21:32Marty and I started dating for a little bit
21:34until he found out about Scott
21:35and I told him I couldn't see him anymore
21:39he's the one that got me the house
21:41he bought my car outright in cash
21:44he pays my insurance
21:45he's done my grocery shopping
21:48he's taken very well care of me
21:49at one point I believe she told us
21:53that he just worshipped the ground she walks on
21:55like he was obsessed with her
21:57so did you told Marty that Scott was the father of the baby?
22:09oh
22:10Marty knew that Scott and I were together
22:12and Scott was the only one that I was seeing
22:14and he's smart enough to put it together
22:19I told him what was going on
22:32and he asked me if I wanted him
22:42to take care of this new woman like he did Des
22:45and I asked him what he was talking about
22:49and apparently he decided that
22:55if the baby was Scott's like it was supposed to be
22:59then Desiree would cause issues
23:01oh my god
23:07we were skeptical about
23:14what type of information she was providing
23:16is she throwing him under the bus
23:19or is she directing it differently
23:21for us to follow
23:22are there any other details that um
23:38he gave you about the night of
23:41about how we did it or
23:42he went in the front door
23:45because he knew that that was the closest to the bedroom
23:47the alarm went off
23:51and he opened the door
23:51and Ada came out barking
23:55Des came out right behind her
23:58and he shot her
23:59he shot her three times
24:03she went down
24:05he shot her some more
24:08he went to the back of the house
24:11and moved the board off the window
24:14that Scott had put up
24:15what was your reaction
24:18when he started telling you all this
24:19I was in shock
24:22I just
24:24mostly just sat and listened
24:26and made the way
24:27to make it away with
24:28what do you say to them
24:31I guess I already have
24:33we continued to talk with Paige
24:38and see if we could get her to meet
24:40with Marty
24:40and get him to tell the same story again
24:44how he killed Desiree
24:46but this time it would be taped
24:48what if there was a
24:50situation where we could put a wire on you
24:53would you be willing to talk to him
24:54with a wire on
24:55if it means he goes to jail
24:57then something can be over
24:58yeah
24:59it's getting more complicated
25:01as we go along
25:02we're not sure
25:03did Scott get a hold of Marty
25:05to kill his wife
25:06did Paige get a hold of Marty
25:09to kill Desiree
25:10so she could have Scott
25:11or did Marty just do this on his own
25:14information coming out
25:25about the murder of Desiree Sunford
25:27might only scratch the surface
25:29of this case
25:29police believe Sunford's husband
25:31had a mistress
25:44give me a minute of your time
25:49with nobody around
25:50because I know that you said
25:53that there was no evidence
25:54so I'm just wondering
25:56for sure for sure
25:57if there's nothing left
25:58I don't have anything
26:06I haven't done anything
26:08you can't freak me out
26:14put me in full on
26:15panic mode
26:17and then just be like
26:19nope
26:19I don't know what you're talking about
26:20oh yeah
26:24gee I wonder
26:25right
26:27because I haven't had any sort of
26:28confusing dreams with reality
26:29is that what happened
26:32absolutely
26:33Marty wouldn't cooperate
26:36she tried to lead him a little bit
26:38without putting words in his mouth
26:40but he seemed to be very nervous
26:43very cautious
26:44in his conversation
26:45with her that day
26:46and we did not get
26:48any information
26:49that was usable
26:49the sheriff's office received a phone call
27:14from one of the other managers
27:16was cleaning
27:17where Marty had his office
27:18and found a bag of gun parts
27:21so our team immediately
27:24drove to Moses Lake
27:25recovered the gun parts
27:27and took them directly
27:28to the crime lab
27:29to have them examined
27:30it was determined
27:32that this barrel
27:33was on the gun used
27:35to kill Desiree Sunford
27:37the bullets that we recovered
27:40from her autopsy
27:42came from that barrel
27:43we had evidence in our hands
28:05that gave us enough
28:06to arrest him on the spot
28:07but we'd really like
28:08to have a confession
28:09and so we started off
28:11with just a general conversation
28:13how he knows Paige
28:14how he knows Desiree
28:16or does he know
28:16that Sunford's at all
28:18you mentioned that you
28:20had met Desiree Sunford once
28:23I met him in passing
28:24I met Scott many times
28:25before that
28:26but I never met him
28:26to his wife
28:27because we never had
28:27any functions
28:28or anything together
28:28okay
28:29we're not going to drop
28:30the hammer on him
28:31right away
28:32we're building up
28:33that relationship
28:33with him
28:34try to get him
28:35to feel comfortable
28:36in talking with us
28:37and see what he'll admit to
28:39I ran a report
28:42that shows me
28:43all the guns
28:44that are registered to you
28:46and it says that you own
28:47a Glock 9mm
28:49yes I do
28:50you do
28:50okay
28:51and you still own that
28:52I sat in my apartment
28:53in the back of my wife's van
28:55with a supply band edition
28:57he told us that he dealt
28:59with guns quite often
29:01fixing them
29:02repairing them
29:02trading guns
29:04with other people
29:05he was also telling us
29:06that he very rarely
29:08loans the guns
29:09or any of his parts
29:10to anybody
29:11he always keeps them himself
29:12I'll be more than happy
29:13to turn the weapon
29:14over to you
29:15to do any tests
29:16or anything you need to do
29:17we're trying to get him
29:18to open up
29:19we're not giving him
29:21all the facts
29:21we have in our hand
29:22but we want to see
29:24his reaction
29:25as we come up
29:26with these little nuggets
29:27we call them
29:28what's your relationship
29:32with Paige
29:33oh it's been complicated
29:35over the years
29:35I mean she was the best
29:36man at my wedding
29:36so I mean she was
29:38my best friend
29:39for a while there
29:40you said she was
29:41the best man at your wedding
29:42yes
29:42oh okay
29:43she was my best friend
29:43so I had to be my best man
29:44okay
29:45alright
29:45that's a first
29:46were you two involved
29:48in a sexual relationship
29:49at one time
29:49not exactly no
29:51we just fooled around
29:52a bit out there
29:53early on
29:53but I was taking care
29:54of things for her
29:55financially
29:55fixing up her house
29:57fixing up her plumbing
29:58and finding a place
29:58to live
29:59moving her butt in there
30:00moving stuff out of
30:02storages for her
30:02when the bills were
30:03running out on them
30:04I've tried to be there for her
30:06because I wanted
30:07a relationship with her
30:08she's like a moth to a flame
30:09I kept going back
30:10and trying to help her
30:11even after her own mother
30:12told me she probably
30:13shouldn't be her friend
30:14did you ever offer
30:25to kill Desiree Sunford
30:27for Paige
30:28no I haven't
30:30I've never offered
30:30to kill anyone
30:31for anything
30:31it's not my nature
30:33have you ever discussed
30:35killing her with Paige
30:36no
30:37did she ever ask you
30:39to kill Desiree Sunford
30:40no
30:41did Scott ever ask you
30:43to kill Desiree Sunford
30:44no one's ever asked me
30:45to kill anyone
30:46I wouldn't
30:46I've never thrown
30:48a punch and anger
30:49in my life
30:49I wouldn't kill anyone
30:50it's not who I am
30:54where the
30:57where the problem
30:58comes in
30:59the difficulty
30:59for you
31:01is that
31:02Paige is saying
31:06that you are the one
31:07who
31:08shot and killed
31:09Desiree Sunford
31:10she said that
31:11you confessed that
31:12to her
31:13and she came in
31:16and gave a tape
31:17statement
31:17to that effect
31:18I can't believe
31:22that
31:22she's yelling
31:23I don't mean
31:24the color just
31:25drained out of his face
31:26I thought he was
31:28actually going to get sick
31:28Paige has put you
31:30smack
31:31in the middle
31:31of a murder investigation
31:33she's trying to put my life in
31:37I mean
31:37this would be a good way
31:39to go about it
31:40to kill anyone
31:43she's pinning the
31:45on me
31:46you
31:57Marty
31:57you're going to get in
31:58this conversation
31:59as soon as you sat down
32:01your heart's been
32:02about ready to jump
32:03out of your throat
32:04you knew exactly
32:05what we wanted
32:06to talk to you about
32:07when you sat down
32:08I haven't done anything wrong
32:29on her
32:29she's trying to engineer
32:34to set me up
32:35to do something
32:35saying to you
32:37that killed someone
32:39I don't know
32:39that
32:39makes me sick
32:44we were confronting him
32:47with some pretty heavy
32:48information
32:49and I
32:51you know
32:51as he's thinking
32:52his eyes are wandering
32:54around
32:55and he's trying to figure out
32:56what he's going to say next
32:57you work at Basic American Freedom
33:05and they said
33:06that you were suspended
33:07from work
33:07for having gun parts
33:10at work
33:11can you tell me about that
33:12what kind of gun parts
33:13are we talking about
33:14I have a gun barrel
33:15that I left there
33:16a gun barrel
33:18yeah
33:18okay
33:19where it gets even worse
33:24for you
33:24is this gun barrel
33:26that we've been talking about
33:27that's the gun barrel
33:28that was in the gun
33:29that killed Desiree Sumford
33:30I've already retrieved
33:32that gun barrel
33:33from Basic American Foods
33:34and I've already had
33:35the ballistic analysis
33:36done on it
33:37and the slugs
33:38that were pulled
33:39from Desiree's body
33:40came from that gun
33:41how
33:44well
33:46that's the big question
33:47you have the barrel
33:51that the bullets
33:53came out of
33:54that killed her
33:55there's no question
33:58there's no question
33:58so we need the truth
34:06and we will now
34:10give it up
34:19I've had that barrel
34:29for a while
34:30on there
34:30I did let Paige
34:33borrow the gun
34:34early last year
34:37she had the gun
34:39she had that barrel
34:40on there
34:41he's changing the story
34:43he said he'd never
34:44loaned the gun
34:45out to anybody
34:46now he knows
34:46that the gun
34:47was used
34:47in the murder
34:48he's got to find
34:50somebody
34:51that he gave
34:51the gun to
34:52and Paige
34:52is the likely
34:53person
34:53I loaned the gun
34:55to her
34:55early last year
34:56this was around
34:57February
34:57unless she had it
34:58for a while
34:59when did you get it
35:01back from her
35:02I got back
35:04about
35:04the end of March
35:07I didn't know
35:11if anything had
35:12happened to all
35:12that
35:13she asked me
35:13to try to get
35:14rid of the stuff
35:14end of March
35:15yeah
35:16last year
35:17or this year
35:172013
35:18I was on March
35:20so
35:20May
35:21I asked him
35:23when he got
35:23the gun back
35:24and he says
35:25March
35:26he says that
35:27twice
35:28and all of a sudden
35:30he realized
35:31the murder
35:32happened in April
35:33he's not thinking
35:35fast enough
35:36he's got the dates
35:37wrong
35:37otherwise
35:38he's the one
35:39with the gun
35:40at the time
35:40of the murder
35:41what are the odds
35:55you think that those
36:08will match
36:08your size
36:09foot
36:09I don't know
36:12I don't have
36:15shoes like that
36:16anymore
36:16I had bought
36:17them previously
36:17on them
36:18but I wasn't there
36:19so they shouldn't
36:20match my feet
36:21I don't know
36:42I don't know
36:43I didn't kill anyone.
36:55I didn't go there.
36:57If you know what happened, you just don't want to tell us everything.
37:02You're walking up to the edge, and we're asking you to go to the edge.
37:07Walk through the door, inciting people, and you're refusing to do that.
37:12That's what we're seeing right now.
37:21Is it possible that Paige recruited you into a scheme and then just threw you under the bus?
37:32I should definitely feel thrown under the bus, but I don't know.
37:35We were hoping if there was any connection between Scott's involvement or Paige's involvement in the death of Desiree, that Marty wouldn't go alone.
37:47I mean, why take the rap by yourself?
37:49You know exactly what happened, Marty.
37:53You know exactly what happened.
37:55How would I know exactly what happened?
37:57Because you're involved up to your eyeballs in this case.
38:00All the evidence is on your shoulder right now.
38:12And the Yakima County deputies say the murder investigation took a turn last month when a man called to say he found gun parts in the office of a former worker.
38:21That worker was Marty Grismer.
38:31You know that that barrel was used in the murder.
38:39Okay?
38:40And then we both strongly believe that you were involved in that murder.
38:46Very strongly would believe that.
38:49I've never killed anyone.
38:52But you know who killed her.
38:53Were you present?
38:55No.
38:57I was not there.
38:58I was at all.
38:59I don't know who did it.
39:04I thought Paige had done it.
39:07That's all I thought.
39:08I thought that Scott had done it, but I don't know.
39:13You can see that he's getting really antsy.
39:16Color in his face is draining.
39:18That's something you don't have any control over.
39:20He's showing us enough body language that he's lying.
39:23We're still thinking Paige is involved somehow, and he's not doing this all by himself.
39:32After everything you've done for her, after all the money, blood, sweat, tears, and love that you gave to her, and she turned around and you over.
39:43I know.
39:51I mean, honey.
39:52You're going to jail.
39:59So you can keep your tech page all you want?
40:02I didn't show anyone.
40:03So you're going to jail.
40:05What have you been to arrest me for?
40:07First of the murder.
40:18The interview lasted a little over two hours.
40:20We're getting to a point where there's nothing else we could push him with, and so the interview was terminated, and he was taken into custody and brought back to Yakima.
40:29This case was set to go to a jury trial, but the state offered a plea deal to Grismere at the last minute due to uncertainty in some of their witnesses.
40:48An Alford plea is he's not admitting to the crime, he's just saying that the state, which would be the prosecution, has enough evidence to get a conviction.
41:07A Yakima Superior Court judge accepted a plea to send Marty Grismere to prison for killing Wapato art teacher Desiree Sunford in 2013.
41:18Desiree's mother, Connie Kast, spoke at the sentencing and asked the judge to send Grismere away for a long time.
41:25People, they tell me, they know how I feel.
41:29You have no idea how I feel.
41:32I don't want you to know how I feel.
41:35Because no one should have to deal with this type of pain.
41:38The court is going to go along with the resolution in this case.
41:46I will sentence you to a term of 15 years with the State Department of Corrections.
41:54If I had the authority, I would make sure that you went to the harshest prison in the state of Washington.
41:58Desiree wasn't any type of a threat.
42:15You would think if Marty wanted Paige all to himself, just eliminate Scott.
42:22It just didn't make sense.
42:24There's got to be other reasons than just he did this all on his own for his love for Paige.
42:33You know, unfortunately, it's not what you know.
42:38It's what you can prove.
42:42These cases will follow a detective, a deputy police officer for the rest of their lives.
42:49There's a lot of relief that comes along with solving them.
42:51Because, you know, we want justice for the families.
42:57Desiree's mother passed away a few years later.
43:00But we were able to let her know that we caught her daughter's killer and that he was sentenced to prison.
43:05I think she should be able to let her know that we watched her daughter.
43:07But that we could assume that if we were able to take her.
43:10But we were able to let her وهp into the death of her daughter then.
43:13But we were able to have a female mother.
43:14We were able to take her for a man.
43:15And thank you so much for asking her to give her that she wanted子 pleaseT ensue.
43:18Because everyone.
43:19The main thing to all year ago and to all day is that she knew her for whom she had sent her.
43:23She attributes her in 25 years later.
43:25But, why don't know she seemed to be able to she would't pretend.
43:29Simple sc神ат.
43:31The main thing is that these people who took her part of her husband since surprise?
