00:00Do you think Aragos made an insinuation that there should have been more help from the family and friends?
00:05What did you think of that?
00:07Aragos has a reputation, I'll let it live there.
00:11You spoke emotionally and eloquently.
00:12How many cases has he won lately?
00:15You spoke emotionally and eloquently about Matthew himself.
00:18Do you think she heard those words?
00:20Yes, I do.
00:21I looked down and she was visibly emotional about it.
00:25I mean, look, you have to have a heart of stone to wake up every morning and make a business
00:34out of feeding off the addictions of home and addiction, who are desperate for drugs.
00:44Then when you're forced to confront what you've done, if you don't feel some sense of shame, you're sorry.
00:51You're not even human.
00:52And she is clearly human.
00:53She is now facing a sentence.
00:56I think she'll do fine.
00:59And the judge said she believes she's the most comfortable.
01:02Do you agree?
01:03Or how do you see the other person?
01:04Yeah, I'm not in a position to make those judgments.
01:07I'm really, I don't know.
01:08Ask Mr. Gary.
01:11Thank you, sir.
01:12Mr. Morrison, may I just ask if justice was served today?
01:17The judge made a very reasoned argument.
01:19I think I'll just leave it at that.
01:22I'm not in a position to know what the right sentence would be, but she is.
01:26Ready?
01:27I'll take a couple of questions, but I'll anticipate.
01:31My first reaction is I'm bitterly disappointed.
01:35If you weren't in the courtroom, the argument is there's no way that jasmine is five times more culpable than
01:44the person who rejected Matthew Perry with the drug or the doctor who got the drug.
01:51To me, it's absurd in the literal meaning of the word, and if this is what the criminal justice system
02:01or the theory of crime and punishment is,
02:05that the dealer should get five times as much as the person who injects the drug who is there to
02:17take care of somebody, then maybe I've been practicing too long.
