00:00I can tell you that until now the Strait of Hormuz is open.
00:06Of course there are technical restrictions because of the war zone
00:09and because of many arrangements that Iran did during the war, during this aggression against Iran.
00:15So there are some technical restraints and this is why that all the ships that they would like to pass
00:22through the Strait of Hormuz,
00:24they have to communicate with our army and our military contact points there because of the limitations in this strait.
00:32And this strait is a very narrow strait. It is in our territorial water plus Omani territorial water.
00:38It is inside our water.
00:40So we have to be very careful for the safety and security of tankers and vessels.
00:48Those technical restrictions are very much connected to the wartime condition and it takes time to be removed.
00:55So safe passage is secured. Strait of Hormuz is open.
01:00But of course, each tanker and every vessel should make necessary arrangements with the Iranian authorities
01:09to be able to securely pass this strait.
01:12When you say about technical difficulties and restraints, I'm assuming you're referring to mines within the Strait of Hormuz.
01:20Including that, you know, there are others, you know, arrangements that Iran made for the time of war and they
01:26are still in place.
01:26So we have maps, we have everything that, you know, we have to be careful that, you know,
01:31the safe passage of tankers and vessels and well-being of crews are actually met during this passage.
01:38Very few ships have yet passed through.
01:41Who is the Strait of Hormuz open to if you say it is now open?
01:45To everyone.
01:48So any...
01:49Anybody who could, anybody who communicate with the Iranian authority has got permission from your service.
01:55And would you allow American vessels through?
01:59There is no difference, you know, except for hostile behavior of any kind, you know, presumably.
02:08But we think that there is a, there is a, there is no, there is no sign of that for
02:14now.
02:14So everyone can pass this as usual passage.
02:18Of course, I said that, you know, within the restrictions that we do have.
02:22So whoever communicate, we provide safe passage through safe, safe channels that we do have in the Strait of Hormuz.
