Tom Hardy returns to his iconic role as Eddie Brock, a broken journalist mourning the loss of his alien partner. In this sci-fi action movie based on Marvel Comics, the stakes are higher than ever. The God of the Symbiotes and Lord of the Abyss, the terrifying Knull played by Andy Serkis , breaks free from his imprisonment to plunge the universe into darkness. Earth is invaded by Xenophages—feral alien predators and ruthless symbiote hunters.

To save the world, the classic antihero Venom will need powerful new allies. Joining the fight is Dr. Teddy Payne (Juno Temple), who has become the host of the purple symbiote Agony, wielding bio-electrical lightning generation and superhuman speed. The trailer's biggest surprise is the debut of Jason Statham as the brutal White Symbiote (Anti-Venom), whose healing touch and white armor will be the key to defeating the forces of darkness.
