09:38these 10 years ago but like um now i want to get back into the sound engineer we have a gift coming

10:45get her a mullet and the father was like no she's not getting a mullet she's tree and i'm
10:51sister's pregnant at the moment with a little boy so it'll be exciting for them they've gone
10:55through an awful hard time recently niece had a lot of health struggles so she was born with down
11:00syndrome and and then she had a hole in her heart so when she was one she had heart surgery and then
11:06at christmas we found out she had leukemia and so she did six months of chemo but she got the all clear
11:13and kind of end of may right and that's good so she's getting fat again her hair is growing back
11:18again like she's really coming too so it's nice to have baby boy coming because it just feels like
11:25she's gonna be thriving at that stage you know what i mean i see like how much joy my niece brings to
11:31like all of our lives like i think i'd be a really really good mother someday so i'd love to meet
11:36someone like you know buy the house have the family you know get old together retire travel like do
11:42all of those things i live with me mom and dad's as well oh yeah so my nieces and nephews obviously
11:49come to nanny's house all the time and and my sister is actually we're very close and but me
11:54little minions are i know me best friends how many have you got i have five wow we're having such a
12:01huge family i want somebody that has that same value as well and doesn't kind of look down on me for
12:07how valuable i take my family would you like to have family yourself yes i would i love that idea
12:13of like settling down with someone coming home from work like yeah i'll have your dinner waiting for
12:17you like that'd be nice like i think that's a little bit of pressure though because i don't cook

13:13you're doing the night feeds everything happens so fast but it was great at the same time because you
13:18grow up differently you become more mature and then when you go out there you're like i can't really stay out
13:22too long last you know i can't really do this anymore what do you have one with me i'm not gonna
13:28have the oysters i'm sorry oh my god it's rotten why did you order if you think it's gonna be bad
13:34because i never had them before and i wanted to do it for the crack
13:41is it okay if i didn't go down to it while i was over i like to keep cards close to my chest have you

14:22so what's your friend group like then i hang out with straight men which is me and the tree boys
14:32nice yeah we play a lot of games together we do like a lot of playstation we do like board games
14:37nights a couple of nights i said you would like a gamer oh yeah a little bit so what do you like to
14:41do normally like would you you play games yeah trying to get into fitness gym girly no because
14:48i don't want people to be looking at me sweating when i'm like working out i'm kind of the same
14:53like when it comes to the chair obviously yeah um if i'm in the gym or whatever it's like everybody
14:58goes you know it's not comfortable do you find that people judge you because of it not really i find
15:03that a lot of people it's kind of the thing of like jesus isn't that great she's getting out of the
15:07house i never lost my ability to walk i never had it so i never knew any different i've never really
15:13been treated differently than my sisters are not like that you know yeah i was always brought up to
15:19the point of you can do it but try try i think i kind of i find pride in it a little bit like it's
15:25like different you know i don't want to be like everybody else i like that you're authentically
15:29yourself that's very attractive my disability is probably the least exciting thing about me
15:37but if they say on tinder if they say online not a lot of questions i would get would be about me
15:42rather than well can you do this and can you do that and you know and stuff like that so yeah
15:48dating is hard i'm free on the bus though or on the train have you got plus one free yeah okay
15:54perfect we're grand so i drive anyway oh do you be my passenger princess does wheelchair fit in your car
16:01you know what i need to buy a new car so i'll make sure i buy a big one yeah
16:07my dad was in the sas you know the sas is no actually special forces okay so he was away and
16:13stuff a lot of moving around a lot of moving around when i came to ireland didn't speak word english
16:20i was the quietest kid for a long long time and now i'm obviously making up for that time
16:25in lithuania we had a good time growing up and stuff yeah we always had each other not everyone
16:30has a literally a built-in best friend we were very energetic children so our parents sent us to
16:36every possible theater you know choir and dancing so i was 11 years old myself and my sister were 11
16:44when we moved over when we moved to ireland there wasn't a lot of that because we moved into a very
16:47small town didn't have like any like particular classes to offer my parents broke up when i was like
16:5313 14. oh certainly coming into a teenager stuff and like not really having a dad in my life after
16:59that because he wasn't really connected and like he was quite detached so my dad moved back to lithuania
17:04and it was kind of weird it was like it's a hard time and then he passed away when we were 17.
17:12that was something that we went through as children like i suppose teenagers you're still a child like
17:18when you're a teenager you're kind of trying to work out your feelings about like where you stand with
17:22your father with your mother a lot of unanswered questions because my dad had moved back to
17:26lithuania there wasn't much of a connection there and then he passed away they're so young how do you
17:32deal with like losing a parent you're never going to be ready for there's no answer you just have to
17:37keep your head above the water to be 17 and kind of lose a parent it's like it's a difficult time and
17:43music was a very big part for us to process a lot of those feelings we needed some channel to like
17:48process our emotions and it kind of got us started making music even just writing a few verses a few
17:53rhymes you're doing the rapping then i do the rapping yeah wow wow i'm waiting to hear it oh you've
17:57gracious thank you are they listening to the music over there by the way i think so

21:49seven years ago i did my erasmus year over there um and i met my ex-partner then on my erasmus year so i
21:55came home graduated and then just moved back and then we like moved in together and stuff like that

22:10are going to like drop those walls so it's very very easy to kind of say i love you after a month
22:15because you've actually been so vulnerable that i don't think straight couples get to that point
22:20until like a year we were engaged actually yeah we were together for about five years
22:27i was in relationships from like 16 to 25 and i was like you know what let me go be single and then i
22:33very very quickly realized like that's not for me i actually do like monogamous like monogamous
22:38relationships and like just having that person i kind of have been putting a lot of work into my life
22:43over the last two years and i've gotten myself to a point where i'm kind of happy in every aspect and
22:49then i'm just missing that one thing yeah so i'd love that extra you want that extra puzzle piece

28:11this person's world is just comes tumbling down that's what happened to me before and it's not
28:16good i used to just fall so quick so hard lose myself lose what i was doing and then as soon as
28:24that relationship ended was like the whole world was destroyed my world was never good enough
28:32so when someone came into my world and became this new world it was like everything for me
28:41but i wasn't a good boyfriend at all i was drinking terribly so i was cheating no i'm not putting
28:50that as an excuse but that was my real issue i've had a pretty rough enough life i can't lie to you
28:59i've never felt comfortable in this world i've never felt comfortable in my skin i've never actually
29:03wanted to be here when i was like 17 18 i was like a volcano everything just came up
29:12once i had started drinking yeah i just fell in love instantly because it suppressed everything yeah
29:18it just progressed rapidly i wanted to escape the way i felt you know and i was drugs and alcohol
29:27and gambling it brought me down some dark dark roads and dark dark paths
29:34my friends used to say to me we used to wake up every day and not sure if we were going to get
29:38a text saying you know jimmy's passed and my mum said said the same thing
29:46in 2021 i got this new treatment
29:51it was like someone had pulled a sheet over my face and everything was like bright it was no longer dark
29:57and i was like i actually want to live now it was life changing ever since then i've obviously had
30:07tough days but it's nothing like it used to be not even close and uh would you be part of like a
30:14support groups or would you just do it yeah i'd be in like a 12-step program yeah yeah that's like
30:19my core my core way of living yeah i get you to catch my vibe i do catch your vibe like i never
30:28thought i would get to the day where i was just like i'm sober and i'm happy truly i didn't think
30:35it was possible it's hard to tell people you've changed or that you've recovered and you're a
30:43different person but it's mainly about showing that's the only way

30:56they're fine sometimes i get the last bus taxi after or you can sleep on a sofa in my friend's house

37:35do want to make sure like when you're settling down in a relationship you just want to make it right
37:38you know when you go out with somebody now you want to look at the bigger picture where i am with my

37:46i would see myself definitely having like a kid at some point um i think it's important because my
37:52parents broke up at such a young age i guess you can never predict the future but i would like to be
37:59with someone that i feel like we have a good foundation i have had a few relationships there's
38:04been a definitely a theme of like on and off kind of thing maybe it's to do a little bit with the fact
38:09that my dad was like a lorry driver so he was kind of an inconsistent male energy he would go away
38:15for like a month or two he'd come back for a couple of days and then he'd be on the road again so maybe
38:20there's a little bit of me sort of like that pattern in my relationships you kind of think about stuff
38:26and you're like oh wow like because of the family dynamic yeah it's an interesting thing to become aware
38:31of i've learned something about myself or learned something about relationships
