00:06Elon Musk and his associates for improper and anti-competitive behavior,
00:10ahead of a trial set to begin this month, according to Reuters.
00:12Musk sued OpenAI, Sam Altman, and others in 2024,
00:16alleging the company violated its founding mission as it restructures to a for-profit entity.
00:20Musk co-founded OpenAI in 2015, left in 2018, and later launched XAI with chatbot Grok.
00:25OpenAI said Musk sought more than $100 billion in damages from its non-profit foundation,
00:30the company said the lawsuit could cripple the organization,
00:32while Chief Strategy Officer Jason Kwan said the lawsuit could undermine OpenAI's efforts
00:36to ensure AGI benefits all of humanity.
00:39A judge in Oakland ruled in January that a jury will hear the case in April.
