00:20Eggplant, simmered in tomato sauce with garlic sauce, cilantro on Afghani spices, with fresh grilled Afghani bread.
00:26Their $8 Banjan, chef-owner Hashmat says this is one of his favorite dishes on the menu.
00:32Wow, I typically don't go for eggplant, but this is phenomenal.
00:36On to their $9 Mantu, which are Afghani steamed dumplings filled with minced chicken and spices on top of garlic
00:42yogurt sauce,
00:43topped with their chickpea spread, more garlic yogurt sauce, cilantro, and Afghani spices.

00:51They are not shy with the sausage here.
00:53So much flavor burst out from that dumpling.
00:55Then, chef Hashmat said, I hope you're hungry, because it was time for their Afghan family platter.
01:00Fresh, steaming Afghani rice gets piled high.
01:04While that cools off a little bit, they grill up their marinated lamb chops,
01:10their chicken tikka, lamb tikka, chicken kofta, and beef kofta.
01:14While they get constantly rotated, a huge plate gets a straight-up mountain of that Afghani rice,
01:21their kabuli, which are caramelized carrots and raisins,

01:39It gets topped with cilantro onions and their spices before it gets a healthy drizzle of their white sauce.

01:50And for the finale, their slow-braised $25 lamb shank slathered in that broth,
