00:00Well, first of all, that meeting, you know,
00:02and I don't know if it's going to be one meeting or multiple meetings
00:05or what have you, you know, that are going to take place next week.
00:09You know, there's no guarantee that that means that Billy's staying.
00:12I mean, you know, it's going to be Billy's decision,
00:15and the Ryan's owners respect that.
00:17Their relationship is – it's hard to describe how strong it is,
00:22but it's incredibly strong.
00:24The respect that flows both ways is mutual.
00:28It's clear the Ryan's owners are going to make it a priority
00:30to try to convince Billy to stay,
00:32but there's no guarantee Billy is going to stay.
00:35So let's start there.
00:36So that's why this front office situation, I'm not saying it gets difficult,
00:42but it changes depending on Billy's decision because if Billy wants to stay,
00:49then, you know, he's not the kind – people have the wrong impression of Billy
00:52and thinking that this is going to interfere with that process.
00:57That's not how Billy is.
00:59He's an incredibly humble person.
01:01He's incredibly well-connected and respected.
01:05He wouldn't sit there and dictate who they need to hire.
01:09Obviously, his presence would change the search a little bit in the sense
01:12that the person coming into the job, if Billy stays,
01:15would know that he wouldn't be hiring a coach.
01:17But there's precedent for that.
01:19I mean, look at Tim Connolly and Chris Finch in Minnesota.
01:22They seem to be doing pretty well up there.
01:26So there's that element.
01:28But if Billy leaves, then, you know, the situation changes
01:32and then the front office search has a different vibe and feel.
01:36So that's going to be kind of the first – I don't want to say even domino
01:39because it's going to be a fluid process.
01:41But that's going to be the first order of business is talking to Billy Donovan,
01:44and then that's going to kind of dictate how the front office search begins
01:50or, you know, accelerates, however you want to describe it.
