00:11Emerging Matildas tournament in Melbourne.
00:14Yeah, a bit nervous because they're older and have done it before I'm sure, but yeah
00:20it'll be a good opportunity.
00:21The 13-year-old is the only female player chosen from Central Australia and she looks
00:26up to another local soccer export.
00:29She's a midfielder, I only just kind of became a midfielder, I've played defence like every
00:35time I've played soccer defence, but now going into this tournament I'm going to be a midfielder
00:39so it's exciting to follow in Karakuni Cross's footsteps, yeah.
00:44I'm very proud of her, just amazing every time I see her playing it's just like so impressive,
00:49you know, for someone so young and she hasn't played for that long, like it's just amazing.
00:54When you're from Central Australia, being great at sport is one thing, being able to travel
00:58up north or down south is another because it's so expensive.
01:02Hallie's parents started a GoFundMe just a week ago and have raised over $4,000 to help
01:07pay her away so she can partake in this tournament.
01:10No one's surprised, she was selected.
01:13AIQ in terms of how to execute very important decisions on the pitch, oh my God, it's quite,
01:21quite amazing.
01:21Now we're really happy to have someone come out of Alice Springs and be involved and obviously
01:27represent the Northern Territory from Central Australia.
01:29Yeah.
01:29A bright future for this goal getter.
01:33So that's the one of your favorite audiences.
01:34A bright future for this goal is to do, For this reason.
01:35Yeah, I think it's good too well.
