Amazon is adding a 3.5% fuel surcharge to sellers as rising oil prices increase logistics costs.

00:17sellers as rising fuel and logistics costs increase operating expenses across the industry.
00:22Amazon said it has absorbed these costs so far and will apply the temporary charge to
00:26partially recover them. The surcharge applies to U.S. and Canadian sellers using fulfillment by
00:31Amazon. It will expand on May 2 to sellers using buy with Prime and multi-channel fulfillment.
00:36United Parcel Service, FedEx, and the United States Postal Service have also raised fuel
