00:13go ahead and jump right on in what age did you start acting so i started basically with commercials
00:21and print work when i was three oh wow i started acting in the business when i was five so
00:28i was
00:28really young oh wow yes but you had a nice um history of you know this business with commercial
00:35print and acting after you definitely been you know here a while so what attracted you
00:40um to begin a career as an actor so when i was little me and my older sisters she liked
00:48to make
00:48up movies and film them so me and my other sister we would star in like the movies playing out
00:55the role
00:55and that that just kind of got me interested in it oh man that sounds like fun yes and good
01:03preparation too as well right right so can you tell us about your character rebecca on mixed fish yeah
01:12um she loves fashion yeah watch the show i bet you can see that that she is very fashionable
01:21um she loves she she knows a lot of stuff about boys and how they think and i think her
01:30character
01:31she comes across where she thinks she knows more than her than her friends but she she loves them
01:37she loves her friends that's awesome so how is the character like you or different in real life
01:44um i think she's like me because i mean i like fashion too um so i think we're alike in
01:51that way
01:52uh i think we're different because i i'm not boy crazy um i think yeah i think girls these days
02:01are
02:02like dressed and try to you know get um like attention from boys and i think they don't need
02:10to do that i think you just need to be yourself and yeah i love that answer and you are
02:16absolutely
02:17right and keep that um process that mental thought process going forth is actually correct right and i
02:24love fashion as well so i can definitely relate to rebecca growing up in loving fashion and dressing up
02:30for school and just you know great yourself through clothes so awesome so which episode of nick's ish
02:37was your favorite to film and why if you have one i know you probably like all that's really hard
02:44no um it's one of the later episodes it's when i get sick with mono oh um it's a really
02:55it's a really
02:56fun episode it was so fun to film i had to like they had to put so much makeup on
03:02me to make me look
03:03pale and just like tired and it was it was really fun to film that's my probably my favorite episode
03:09oh my goodness i'm pretty sure since you love fashion you enjoyed the costume part of knowing what
03:15you were going to wear as well yes for each scene that is awesome so are you friends with any
03:21of the
03:22other girls um on the cast of mix um ish outside of filming oh yeah we all talk together we
03:29did a zoom
03:30call like a couple weeks ago i'll just like catching up and we text all the time yeah that is
03:37so awesome
03:38so while reading your script or actually filming um can you relate to the stories and the conversations
03:44in real life like during those times in school do you have any you know scenarios where you're like
03:49oh i kind of remember going through that or oh i can relate to that you know because you are
03:53young
03:53you know right right so i am homeschooled oh you are i actually i think this is a really fun
04:00rule for me
04:01to experience kind of the you know the school thing um so i think that's that's cool but i can
04:08i can
04:08relate definitely to um you know um her character sometimes because sometimes she's clueless and i
04:16can get like that sometimes so um that is awesome that is a nice way to get to experience it
04:23you know
04:24since you are homeschooled that's a nice way to look at it so can you share with us any funny
04:29memories
04:30that happened on set while filming yes i can um so miss um miss caitlin she plays mrs collins
04:41she is so funny every time we film a scene with her me and the girls we're like okay we
04:48have to
04:48prepare for this because she improvs her lines sometimes oh wow we don't know what she's gonna say
04:57and it's awful because we cannot laugh we have we have to look at her and be like she's so
05:04weird you
05:04know wow but one time she got in our faces and just stared at us and we the whole classroom
05:14the
05:14whole set was just laughing and it was it was just so funny oh my goodness i can imagine how
05:22hard that
05:23would be not to be able to laugh like you know right it's so it is so hard not to
05:29laugh it's really
05:30hard especially while being on set and having fun with all the cast members because that certainly
05:35is extremely fun to be on right i'm glad you enjoyed that so who do you look up to or
05:41who inspires you
05:41as an actress so i really look up to this one actor named chris lyon he actually acts in korea
05:52and that's what i want to do that's my dream one day i want to go over there and be
05:57in the
05:57entertainment business over there and he's he's just a he really plays the characters well
06:06and he gave me hope once i saw that that maybe i could do it too because for foreigners over
06:12there
06:12it's very hard to get in that business um but i really look up to him for that and he's
06:18a really good
06:19actor too oh that's so sweet i didn't know that so that's definitely some information you shed light
06:24on because i didn't know it was hard for them to get into the acting yeah it is oh wow
06:29so that's
06:29interesting um so out of all your filmography which was your favorite character to play that you've
06:35performed i did um ravenswood when i was eight years old and that character was really fun for me to
06:45play because because she was evil and i've never played that kind of character before and for me
06:52being an eight-year-old i was like oh this is so cool because her character had a lot of
06:57power in that
06:58show it was really really fun for me to play that that is awesome we actually have someone in the

07:06who said they are from korea how awesome is that oh that's so cool yeah their name is oh dot

07:13i apologize if i pronounced it wrong but that's so awesome look at that that's so cool so what advice
07:21can you give any young actresses coming up yeah so this business it's not all like rainbows and
07:33just fame and it's very discouraging it's not fun all the times when you book stuff yes it is so
07:42fun
07:42and amazing but it can be hard when you really want a job and it doesn't go through so what
07:51the advice
07:51i would give is that you should just try to audition and forget because if you keep thinking oh did
08:01i get
08:01it did i get it oh what if they didn't like me then your self-esteem is just gonna go
08:06down oh maybe
08:06this isn't right for me um if you get it that's great but if you don't there are better things
08:12coming for you so absolutely and i think that is perfect advice to give um and you're absolutely right
08:19what's for you is for you and sometimes those notes are steps for a better and bigger yes so i've
08:25been great so what what things do you do to keep you inspired so you don't have to you know
08:32worry
08:32about you know being rejected or all the no's what things do you do to kind of keep your mental
08:37or your
08:37spiritual self you know positive i know you said you know audition and forget but what are some other
08:42things that you may do that may help that you can share right um i actually watch a lot of
08:49korean tv
08:50shows um i think they're fun and by watching them i kind of see how they react in different ways
08:57than they like they might overhear so i can give something different to the table you know oh that's
09:02awesome um also when you're auditioning it's it's fun to just you know do something different in the
09:10room because you don't know if you're gonna get it or not so why not take a risk right and
09:17you have fun
09:17in the room too so you're not nervous or right oh man to be so young you give some good
09:23advice
09:24girl you're a girl that is what i'm talking about so what are a few things that you're doing to
09:30stay
09:30productive and creative during this time until production picks back up i have been painting
09:36recently actually um i wouldn't say i'm like a picasso or anything like i'm not great but you know
09:46there's a lot of stuff going on right now so if you put all i like to just take all
09:51that stress
09:52and put it on a piece of paper and i think it's really fun i also i like to um
10:02i'm studying korean
10:03so for me that's fun that's fun for me um yeah so i think that is it hard it it
10:12is a hard language
10:13it is a hard language and it's hard to stay motivated sometimes because you know i'm i'm at
10:19home doing school and then after i'm just like i don't really i'm tired i don't really want to but
10:25right once i watch like videos and i don't understand something i'll be like oh i need to study i
10:31need to
10:31understand what that means right and so i think that helps with motivation a lot yeah awesome can you
10:39say something in korean if you should yeah sure a word one word it doesn't be a thing

11:33now i know you said that you are learning koreen is there any other fun facts that you can share
11:38with us about you that maybe nobody knows right um i like anime i can i can see that i
11:46can figure that
11:47yeah um i do i like anime i've been watching it since i was like 12. um i think it's
11:55just
11:56for me it was like i was kind of still in that cartoony phase but i wasn't like watching like
12:02you know disney junior or whatever but like it's just there's so much there's so many different
12:08stories and you know like that voice acting is amazing and it's just i i just love it i've loved

12:17for a long time oh my goodness and you have you done voiceover work i have done voiceover work yes
12:24awesome so do you think you'll ever do voiceover work in korean i think that would be really fun
12:31i think that would be really really cool yeah okay so we're going to speak that into existence
12:37but if you could have any dream role with any actor or doing whatever it is that you may like
12:42filming maybe over in korea what would it be for isabel myers wow
12:48that's hard um yeah i would really like to do um uh like a drama with there's an actor and
13:00she's
13:00also a singer her stage name is ayu okay um if you haven't listened to her music she is amazing
13:10and she's an incredible actor and i just i really look up to her because she's just she's so good
13:17so
13:17i think that would be cool one day if i got to be in something with her oh that is
13:24so awesome well
