00:18Delhi Assembly now it seems there has been a major security scare there so a major security
00:25breach at the Delhi legislative assembly it seems an unidentified car entered the assembly
00:32premises and we're bringing the visuals to you from there the car ran through the assembly gate
00:38before gaining entry into the assembly now subsequently the vehicle exited the assembly
00:45complex and vanished the police have launched an investigation based on the CCTV footage that was
00:52recorded over there a vehicle entered the legislative assembly of Delhi through the VIP gate remember
01:00this gate is extra secure you can only go through it if you have the correct passes and permissions
01:06the vehicle breached the gate to gain entry into the assembly premises it left after placing a floral
01:14bouquet outside the speaker's room the incident occurred around 2 in the afternoon about 5 minutes past 2 in
01:25the afternoon now senior officials of Delhi police are currently present at the assembly premises and are
01:32conducting an investigation as we bring you the visuals remember the vehicle that is believed to have
01:40come through the VIP gate actually breached the security cordon it went inside the assembly placed a bouquet
01:52someone placed a bouquet outside the speaker's office and then vanished completely so this is a huge security
02:00breach questions will be asked and they need to be asked because this is one of those most secure places

03:14us what really happened over there oh well yes a massive security breach has happened at the delhi
03:20vidhansabha where at approximately 2 5 pm itself a white sierra drove in from a gate that is usually
03:27and since the vidhansabha is not in function at this point in time the level of or the amount of
03:32security that is generally placed over there that was also uh not there when the uh when the
03:38assembly is in session so uh as the car burst in it was a white tata sierra vehicle uh wearing
03:44a up
03:45number plate it went inside and then went outside the speaker's chamber where it uh threw a a bouquet
03:51of flowers and then eventually managed to escape from the spot but yes this is a massive security
03:57breach that has happened and that is what uh the delhi police is saying at this point in time senior
04:01officers officers of the delhi police have reached on the spot and they are trying to figure out
04:06as to who was the person who was actually driving uh that vehicle and what was the
04:10exact intention as well but definitely the manner in which this incident has happened
04:14at delhi vidhansabha definitely it is being seen as a security breach by the delhi police and the
04:19agencies in the national capital also the question really is unsure that uh how did the car manage to
04:26ram into the gate i mean uh we would assume there would be sufficient barricades or some sort of
04:33personnels who would be securing the gate can you tell us a little bit more about that particular
04:38gate that it went through oh well yes if you look at the geography of this entire location and and
04:44delhi vidhansabha uh there is a vip gate that is generally used for uh for the ministers or for the
04:51mlh to go inside and come out there is this vip gate and it is said that there is a
04:56lot of security
04:57that that that is present but there are other gates that are right on the on on the road outside
05:03the vidhansabha in fact it is right next to uh the metro station as well uh so uh generally in
05:09those
05:09gates there is not much security that that is present so uh it is at that point uh from these
05:15gates where there is very little security or gates where there is that are absolutely not opened in any
05:21scenario until and unless vip moments happen over there uh but uh but yes these gates are generally
05:27closed uh and hence there is very little security that is present over here in terms of uh personnel
05:32who are present uh outside outside the gates and it is at this location that the driver chose to
05:38actually ram into and try to get inside the vidhansabha and then eventually throw a bouquet outside the
05:45office of the speaker of vidhansabha and then manage to escape from the same spot as well you can
05:50imagine uh that this entire procedure that has happened it could have at least taken uh uh two
05:57at least taking two minutes for the driver to actually get inside the vidhansabha then so
06:02then uh keep the bouquet over there and then also manage uh to flee away away from there and even
06:08in
06:08those at least two minutes of time that might have elapsed in this there was uh the security personals
06:13who were supposed to reach over there they were not uh they were not able to reach over there and
06:18get
06:18him under control or arrest him at that point itself so you can uh actually imagine from the
06:23situation itself or the incident that has happened that how uh the gate that was the gate that was
06:29barged by uh the driver it was not uh very well guarded or the response time that was needed by
06:35the
06:35security officers to actually respond to such threats uh that is something uh that is also uh being
06:41looked into at this point in time and clearly states that there were not uh enough persons who were
06:46present in uh in and around that gate uh for a good period of time due to which the driver
