Some trade-show demos are less about what you see than what you feel.

“I was walking through the exhibits at CES and found this haptic 3D mouse,” the filmer, Michael, told WooGlobe.

He records a display table as a haptic 3D mouse is shown off, with a hand moving the device while a nearby screen presents the interface.

The setup highlights how quickly new hardware is being designed to add physical feedback to everyday computer controls.

The moment ends as the camera holds on the demo area inside the Las Vegas convention space.

00:00Check this guy out here. It's like a 3D mouse. I'm controlling this ball. So let me
00:06get this in shot here. It's kind of hard to push that ball through that material.
00:12I'm feeling a lot of resistance, but then watch this. I make it and I go, and then
00:17it's very easy. There's nothing. And I kind of go through, it's like this is a
00:22haptic mouse used for surgery, drones, all sorts of tech. This is some pretty
00:26cool technology here. It comes with the rollers and buttons and a little trigger
00:29right here. So interested to see what else this will be used for, but really cool demo.
