00:51:49growing up was difficult for me i had trouble making friends i was very shy awkward
00:51:58i started playing soccer around age six that kind of led to making friends and
00:52:04from that point on soccer was my life my dream for soccer was always to go pro
00:52:09to see my last name on my back with a number that i liked
00:52:14my freshman year of high school halfway through the soccer season
00:52:19i went for a free kick
00:52:23and i planted my left foot to kick it and i felt like a gear switch in my lower left

00:52:29and i couldn't feel my legs i snapped my back in half
00:52:34and that changed everything it was hard for him to not be able to engage in what he loved and

00:52:43the other boys and be a part of things i was lost for a long time and then i picked
00:52:48up a guitar and
00:52:49i didn't want to put it down you haven't played out much why is that i'm working too much well
