A fire that broke out at a Kaohsiung oil refinery on Friday afternoon was put out Saturday morning. Its effect on domestic energy supply is still unclear. It comes as concerns grow over a global oil crisis spurred by war in the Middle East.

00:22which operates the refinery, could now face fines of more than 150,000 U.S. dollars.
