00:00:00I was so caught off guard.
00:00:02We're starting with that?
00:00:03We haven't never before seen clip.
00:00:05Oh, God.
00:00:05No, you love this. Come on.
00:00:06Let's talk about it.
00:00:07That's a crock of crap.
00:00:10Welcome to the official Beast Games 2 reunion.
00:00:13Jack, what did I do?
00:00:14You screwed Sue over.
00:00:16Scary.
00:00:16Have you spoke with Sue since?
00:00:17I'm still waiting on a response.
00:00:19You would like a chance to apologize to her?
00:00:21Sue, come on in.
00:00:22Oh, my God!
00:00:23Oh, my God!
00:00:23She got to give him a hug?
00:00:24Oh!
00:00:26You don't have the balls watching that live
00:00:28with the rest of the world was devastating.
00:00:31I think in no way is that cheating.
00:00:32I would do it a hundred times over.
00:00:34I don't want to cry.
00:00:34We're going to talk about all the beef, all the drama.
00:00:36I don't think two weeks is a ridiculous time
00:00:38to make it official.
00:00:39It is a ridiculous time to get married.
00:00:41I pronounce the husband and wife.
00:00:43The internet thinks it's fake.
00:00:45We can clear this up right here.
00:00:47If you divorce her, do you get half her 500 grand?
00:00:49I mean...
00:00:50Why are you all choked up?
00:00:51And Jack, you ordained that wedding?
00:00:53I sure did.
00:00:54A real honorable ordained minister.
00:00:56And show you some things that you didn't see in the show.
00:00:58Most satisfying shot of the entire show.
00:01:01The moment August got eliminated.
00:01:03I couldn't trust him.
00:01:03Maybe I should have shut up about it.
00:01:05If I could turn back the time...
00:01:06What would you take?
00:01:06I would have taken 500,000.
00:01:08My boys don't got my back like that.
00:01:09That makes me feel worse.
00:01:10I want to play this clip on Monica.
00:01:12You want to eliminate all the girls one by one.
00:01:14What are you doing?
00:01:15Where did you get those shots?
00:01:17I'm here with John Ushai.
00:01:19Let's get in to the reunion.
00:01:23Welcome to the official reunion of Beast Games Season 2.
00:01:28I'm excited.
00:01:29I thought we addressed the elephant in the room.
00:01:32Obviously, Cory is not here with us.
00:01:34He had a work commitment that he couldn't get out of.
00:01:37But Cory, we miss you here.
00:01:38We wish you were here.
00:01:39But we got a lot to dive into.
00:01:41So, Jimmy, I wanted to ask, how much money did you give away
00:01:44on this season of Beast Games?
00:01:45Season 2, we gave away $12.6 million.
00:01:48Most of which went to people right here.
00:01:50Yeah.
00:01:51But not evenly.
00:01:52Not evenly.
00:01:53Not evenly.
00:01:53Can we show the earnings of the folks here?
00:01:57Oh, gosh.
00:01:58Yeah.
00:02:00Okay, all right.
00:02:00The mood changed a little bit.
00:02:01Wow, John just kicking it off like this.
00:02:05I wanted to spice things up a little bit,
00:02:06because I talked to a bunch of you guys before this.
00:02:09I asked you guys who from the finalists did not deserve
00:02:13the money that they took home.
00:02:15Oh, my God.
00:02:16We're getting to this already?
00:02:18We're starting with that?
00:02:19What?
00:02:20The two people who got the most votes were Brett and Nick.
00:02:24Oh.
00:02:26Oh, that's how the gang over here feels?
00:02:28I'm wondering if you guys could elaborate on that.
00:02:31Come on, guys.
00:02:32What'd you say?
00:02:32I'm just saying the way that it was won was a little,
00:02:36just the dishonesty was the only reason.
00:02:39Oh.
00:02:39Can you elaborate on that?
00:02:40I mean, the only two people to not take their fair split
00:02:43and the money split was Nick and Brett.
00:02:44Why don't we play a clip when things started to unravel?
00:02:47Wait, I love this.
00:02:48Bro.
00:02:48We are all gonna get $100,000, and everybody's gonna be so happy.
00:02:54So, so happy.
00:02:55Before we all do that, we're all in a good spot.
00:02:57But this is a real test of someone's character in here, so we'll see.
00:03:00It's hard because I want everyone to have a piece of the pie.
00:03:02Do the pieces, though, have to be even?
00:03:04I'm gonna take $250,000.
00:03:08Whoa.
00:03:08Whoa.
00:03:09At some point, you gotta be a little bit greedy for yourself.
00:03:13Wow.
00:03:14How were you feeling when, because you told me right before,
00:03:16they were like, they're all gonna take their fair share.
00:03:18Yeah, I mean, I guess I should, after season one,
00:03:20expect something like that to happen now.
00:03:21But, yeah, but that moment, I was, even, I was, like, pretty shocked.
00:03:26What do you think, though, because why not take the whole thing
00:03:29at that point instead of just $250,000?
00:03:31Well, I felt in that time, I'm like, okay, if I take $250,000
00:03:36and leave $750,000, I thought that it would be respected
00:03:40amongst my friends that I didn't take a lot more.
00:03:43Clearly, my boys don't got my back like that, but, hey, that's,
00:03:46I mean, I've never met people walking up to $750,000
00:03:50that are very ungrateful, acting like it was 50 bucks,
00:03:53but August saw the money and was, like, taken back.
00:03:56And I know August is gonna think that, like, okay,
00:03:59like, I cooked my chances, but I feel like my chances dropped
00:04:03because of the reaction of my friends.
00:04:05I mean, hey, these are the same people that were prancing around,
00:04:08dapping up JT, saying more money for JC, but I do something,
00:04:13and everyone here knows my story.
00:04:14I have lesser than, and that's not a pity party.
00:04:17I did something for myself and still left a good chunk of change
00:04:19for people that are very fortunate in their regular lives.
00:04:21With what you know now, how much would you take?
00:04:24If I could go back in front of the money,
00:04:26I would have taken $500,000.
00:04:27What?
00:04:28No, no, I'm dead serious.
00:04:30I would have taken...
00:04:31And I think that's smart.
00:04:32I would have taken $500,000, and if you got to the box
00:04:36and $100,000 was still in there, you're guaranteed amount.
00:04:39If you didn't take it, that's on you, and that's not on me.
00:04:41Yeah.
00:04:41And, yeah, I don't expect to be praised,
00:04:44but I didn't expect to get the hate that I got.
00:04:46I want to hear what August has to say.
00:04:48Yeah, and if it were me, it's like, you should take half,
00:04:51or, you know, something like that,
00:04:53so your friends can still get a little bit of money,
00:04:55but then at least, like, you have a significant chunk
00:04:57that you're kind of, like, self-eliminating for.
00:04:59And so, it was obviously...
00:05:01Let me finish.
00:05:02So, obviously...
00:05:03No, no, no.
00:05:03If I knew phones was next, I would have taken the million
00:05:06and said, guys, I have a plan.
00:05:07And I would have distributed it for the votes to get through.
00:05:11If Nick took the mill and then in the phone game split it evenly,
00:05:15100K, I'm not voting for that guy.
00:05:18I'm going to take the 100K.
00:05:19I would have done the same thing.
00:05:20I would have taken 750.
00:05:21I think the thing about the money split,
00:05:23like, Nick was kind of the ringleader of that discussion.
00:05:26Like, guys, like, I'm going to be so happy to just go home with 100K,
00:05:30like, and we're like, yeah, yeah, like, this is a great plan.
00:05:33And I think, you know, we just felt blindsided by that.
00:05:37Yeah.
00:05:37I want to talk about another pivotal moment during the Cubes game
00:05:40where it seemed like a lot of things started to unravel.
00:05:43Jack.
00:05:44That's a big one.
00:05:45What did I do?
00:05:46Oh, yeah, let's go.
00:05:47Don't do that.
00:05:48Let's talk.
00:05:49The laser pointer just shifted from those two over to there.
00:05:52Bring in Sue.
00:05:54I want to talk about the moment where you rigged the card game
00:05:57to eliminate Sue.
00:05:57Wow, using the R word.
00:05:59And I want to play the clip first.
00:06:02Jack, Tyler, and Sue decided to draw cards
00:06:04to determine which of the three of them would be going home.
00:06:07And that's when Jack did something unexpected.
00:06:14Yeah.
00:06:15Thanks.
00:06:17Low card goes home.
00:06:20One, two, three, go.
00:06:27Oh, it's me.
00:06:30Oh, Sue, I'm sorry.
00:06:32I'm sorry, sweetheart.
00:06:36I shouldn't have said sweetheart.
00:06:38Yeah.
00:06:39Wow.
00:06:40That's a clip.
00:06:41Wow.
00:06:42That's a clip.
00:06:43That's a weird watch bag.
00:06:45Have you spoke with Sue since?
00:06:46I did send Sue two messages.
00:06:49I'm still waiting on her response.
00:06:50I think she's seen them.
00:06:52She just has chose not to respond.
00:06:54Oh, wow.
00:06:54Honestly, in her situation, I probably would have done something similar.
00:06:57But yeah, I still have not had that reconciliation yet.
00:07:00And when she didn't know that happened until it aired.
00:07:02She did not.
00:07:03We didn't tell her.
00:07:04No.
00:07:04I actually spoke with Sue after she got eliminated as part of our behind the scenes.
00:07:09And I'm wondering if we could play this clip from my conversation with Sue.
00:07:12I don't know if I want to watch the scene.
00:07:13Oh, God.
00:07:14I'm just curious if you had this context.
00:07:17They're the nicest guys in the world.
00:07:18And this is a game.
00:07:19And we played a fair game.
00:07:20And I'm going home with no money.
00:07:22I mean, so it really sucks.
00:07:24I was hoping at least something to help me in my retirement.
00:07:28You know, I'm 60.
00:07:29So I was really hoping to have something.
00:07:34How do you think about your retirement now?
00:07:36It's scary.
00:07:39You know, I've always worked two jobs.
00:07:41You know, I work hard.
00:07:43I'm a hard worker.
00:07:44But I've never had the money to really, like, be financially secure.
00:07:51So I'm going to just keep working, I guess.
00:07:54It just sort of sucks.
00:07:55I'm going to be able to help my daughter and my mom.
00:07:59And I'm not going to be able to.
00:08:03Yeah, it doesn't look great now after watching that.
00:08:06I remember I asked you after you made that decision, like,
00:08:09do you worry about being perceived as a villain?
00:08:12What do you think?
00:08:13Like, now, no.
00:08:14I think after that moment when we had that conversation, I did reflect on it a little bit.
00:08:18And I realized, like, the perception was obviously going to be pretty negative.
00:08:23But looking back, I would have done the exact same thing, even after watching that.
00:08:27I had never met Sue before the show.
00:08:29My life is not going to change with or without Sue in my life.
00:08:32So I was like, I'm willing to sacrifice that relationship to sit here right now.
00:08:37If I had to trade this seat to be friends with Sue, I'm sitting here right now.
00:08:40Damn, I didn't realize you tried to reach out to her.
00:08:43She left your DMs unread.
00:08:44Yeah, which is, honestly, I was hoping to be able to have an open conversation with her.
00:08:49If I was in her position, I'd be pissed at me.
00:08:51But you said you would like a chance to apologize to her?
00:08:53Like, I'd just have a conversation with her.
00:08:56Not necessarily apologize for it, because I have no regrets on that.
00:08:58I would do it 100 times over.
00:08:59Okay.
00:09:00Well, I mean, I feel like you could facilitate that conversation.
00:09:03Yeah.
00:09:04It's kind of a shame that that chair is left empty.
00:09:08Sue, come on in.
00:09:10No way.
00:09:10Oh, my God.
00:09:13Oh, my God.
00:09:14Oh, my God.
00:09:15Oh, my God.
00:09:17Oh, my God.
00:09:18Is she going to give him a hug?
00:09:19Oh, my God.
00:09:23Oh, my God.
00:09:27Oh, my God.
00:09:28Oh, my God.
00:09:29Oh, my God.
00:09:29No way.
00:09:30That is great.
00:09:33Yes.
00:09:33Thanks for coming out.
00:09:35Hey, how are you?
00:09:36I'm so happy.
00:09:38It's the sweetheart.
00:09:38Oh, this day has gotten way worse.
00:09:39All right, everyone, let's have a seat.
00:09:42Let's have a seat.
00:09:44No.
00:09:45This is crazy.
00:09:47This is crazy.
00:09:47Here we go.
00:09:48What a pleasant surprise.
00:09:50Wow.
00:09:51I'm doing really good.
00:09:52You got us.
00:09:54Yo, that's amazing.
00:09:56That's crazy.
00:09:58I heard that you might have not replied to a certain someone's DMs.
00:10:02Do you want to tell us about that?
00:10:03Yeah, well, when somebody, I'm all for gameplay.
00:10:07Of course.
00:10:07And I'm obviously, I'm from Survivor.
00:10:10It's a cutthroat game.
00:10:11I understand gameplay.
00:10:12I actually respect gameplay.
00:10:14Yep.
00:10:15But it's after the game that to me matters.
00:10:18And it's on a human level that when you do something against someone and you actually destroy their dreams.
00:10:26Oof.
00:10:27And you don't have the balls to let them know ahead of time.
00:10:30I signed a contract that said I wouldn't say anything.
00:10:31And you don't have the balls to let them know.
00:10:34Yeah.
00:10:34That you sort of burned them in a different way than what you expected.
00:10:38Yeah.
00:10:39It's very hard to, like, talk to them.
00:10:42And I understand.
00:10:43But once again, we all signed a contract.
00:10:46I signed an NDA that says I'm not going to say anything.
00:10:48And I talked to people in my life and they told me, do not say anything to her.
00:10:52Have that conversation after.
00:10:53And literally at 4 a.m. on Wednesday when the episode dropped, I sent the message.
00:10:58So what people did you talk to seeing that you signed an NDA?
00:11:02I talked to people that were in the game.
00:11:03Oh.
00:11:04And what did they all tell you?
00:11:05Don't say anything.
00:11:05That's such a lie.
00:11:06That's not true.
00:11:08That's not true.
00:11:09Were you there for that conversation?
00:11:11I've spoken to people who have told me otherwise.
00:11:12Well, I had the conversation with them.
00:11:14I've spoken to other people who told me otherwise.
00:11:16Please name them.
00:11:18Yeah, I feel like we said.
00:11:21I appreciate you guys.
00:11:23I remember us saying, I think you should say something ahead of time just so she's not
00:11:28blindsided.
00:11:29That's my memory of it.
00:11:30That was one of the hardest things that I had to endure.
00:11:33I understood that, you know, I was knocked out of the game.
00:11:36And the one thing that I did say, and you were there, is that, you know, I want to have
00:11:42a message sent out to all of the people, especially the young children like my grandson's age,
00:11:47that we're all going to play games in life, okay?
00:11:51We can't win every game.
00:11:53But what matters is, is that you show up, you go all in, and you play with integrity.
00:11:59And that's what makes you a winner.
00:12:01That's how, you know, that's how I feel.
00:12:03It's, it's, I played the game with integrity.
00:12:04I was willing to walk out and handcuff myself because I believed I lost a fair game.
00:12:10The game is over, and I'm a human being.
00:12:13And watching that live with the rest of the world was devastating.
00:12:17Well, can you tell us about that?
00:12:19Where were you when you watched it?
00:12:20What was it?
00:12:21Like, were you at your house?
00:12:23I don't want to cry.
00:12:23Yeah, so I was at my house.
00:12:25And, you know, every morning, you know, I get up early.
00:12:28And, you know, I knew I was going to be eliminated.
00:12:29I'm totally, you know, accepting of that.
00:12:33Knew I was being eliminated, like all of us, you know, have been eliminated.
00:12:37When I watched that, I fell to the floor when I realized what Jack had done.
00:12:45And on top of being devastated, my first instinct was to call my daughter and my grandson.
00:12:50Because they wake up early before school to watch the show.
00:12:55And I needed to warn them that Jack did what he did.
00:12:59And that's how I got eliminated.
00:13:01It wasn't the fair game that I thought, in my opinion, that I thought it was.
00:13:06And that was really hard.
00:13:07And, you know, to have, I couldn't call a million people, but to have my sister call me crying hysterical
00:13:12and devastated.
00:13:14It's hard.
00:13:15It's sad, you know, because if I had known, I could have at least warned my loved ones of what
00:13:21happened.
00:13:21And I didn't get that opportunity.
00:13:23And I feel on a human level, and all of us who do play these games, we do sign an
00:13:27NDA.
00:13:27I will never hide behind an NDA contract when we are all players together in the same game.
00:13:34I don't think you would have broken an NDA law if you had told me because I'm a player, too.
00:13:42It's not like I'm someone that Joe Schmoe on the street, I was playing with you in this game.
00:13:47So I don't accept the fact that you're hiding behind in the NDA.
00:13:51But at the same time, you can talk to every one of these contestants that knew about it prior because
00:13:55I talked about it to them in this game.
00:13:57It was not an easy thing for me not to say anything.
00:14:00I'm sorry.
00:14:01It weighed on me absolutely heavy.
00:14:05So when I saw you four days prior at the party that Hannah and I got together, you couldn't even
00:14:09look at me and I couldn't figure out why you couldn't even look at me.
00:14:11I looked at you, we had a great conversation.
00:14:12We talked, we took photos, we had a good time.
00:14:14We were at a New York City watch party together for episode four.
00:14:18But what's it called?
00:14:20It's a good thing I was at a watch party for episode five.
00:14:22Yeah.
00:14:23Oh, yeah.
00:14:24He wouldn't have been invited.
00:14:27Probably justified.
00:14:27If I had not done that and we played as normal and I flipped the card and if I had
00:14:34flipped the low card, I would have gone out of there.
00:14:36Well, yeah.
00:14:36Like, I would have sat at home going, man, I wish, I wish I cheated.
00:14:42I'm not going to use the word cheat.
00:14:43I don't think it's cheating in my opinion.
00:14:45Okay.
00:14:45We can have different opinions.
00:14:45I think in no way is that cheating.
00:14:47The rule of the game is not to play a fair game.
00:14:49The rule of the game is to convince someone to handcuff themselves and I was able to convince you to
00:14:54handcuff themselves.
00:14:55No, kudos to you.
00:14:56I don't think the cube game should be seen as a game where you get to pick whatever you want
00:14:59and then you play on those results.
00:15:01The game, it's a social manipulation game.
00:15:03So I was fine with creating a false game in order to advance further.
00:15:06So I have one other question.
00:15:07When you did this, you said that you did this to move you and your partner forward.
00:15:14And I tried to tell Tyler.
00:15:15So did you give Tyler a special card or how did you do this to move him and you forward
00:15:20and make sure that Sue was out?
00:15:22When you were looking a different way or whatever, I was trying to signal to Tyler that the cards were
00:15:27loaded to the front.
00:15:28So Tyler did know?
00:15:30Tyler, when I tried to tell him, he didn't pick up what I was putting down.
00:15:33I tried to let him know he did not.
00:15:35Well, let's let Tyler know.
00:15:36So Tyler's also here.
00:15:37Yeah, I'd like to hear from Tyler.
00:15:38Did you know?
00:15:39No, like he tried to signal but I was, I stuck at ridden lips so I had no clue what
00:15:44he was trying to say.
00:15:45And I believe you.
00:15:46I believe you.
00:15:46And to be fair, you flipped over an eight, right?
00:15:49Yeah.
00:15:49So it's not even like you flipped over an ace or a king.
00:15:52Like if I would have known, I would have picked from the left side because he said he stacked the
00:15:55two highest card there but I picked from the right side.
00:15:58Yeah.
00:15:58So when I flipped my card over, I saw Sue's card upside down and I saw the bottom right number
00:16:02say nine.
00:16:03Wow.
00:16:04So I thought I was eliminated.
00:16:04And I saw his face.
00:16:05It was legit.
00:16:06That's when you see me say like, oh my God.
00:16:08Yeah.
00:16:08Wow.
00:16:08Because I thought I was eliminated but I took a couple seconds and I was like, oh wait, it's a
00:16:11six.
00:16:12And I was like, oh my God, that was so close.
00:16:13That was almost a $5.1 million decision for you.
00:16:17Yeah.
00:16:17Like I was pretty stressed but then I realized it was a six, so.
00:16:20Wow.
00:16:21And as you saw, Tyler and I had a relationship since the start of the show.
00:16:24I was considered one of my closest guys.
00:16:26And I knew you were a social threat to win this game.
00:16:28Because think about it, every single person here loves you.
00:16:30Mm-hmm.
00:16:30They still love you to this day.
00:16:32You absolutely have the capability to make it further in this game based on your social connections.
00:16:35I watched it on Survivor 47.
00:16:36I watched it with my own two eyes.
00:16:38And you saw what happened with all the people that betrayed me on 47, right?
00:16:41Yeah.
00:16:41I was going to say, you go out for revenge.
00:16:43So it was one of those, like, if I had burned you publicly later in the game, you were going
00:16:47to do whatever it takes to take me out.
00:16:48You are a strong, like, fearless woman.
00:16:51So it was one of those, if I had an opportunity to take you out, it benefits my game.
00:16:54No, you're a good gamer and I give you credit for that.
00:16:57I do want to point out, because I didn't even know this until just now, that you technically then rigged
00:17:03the game where you moved through.
00:17:04But not, Tyler, since he didn't pick up on it, either one of them could have gone home.
00:17:08Yeah, I rigged the game with the intention of getting Tyler through, but I wasn't able to execute it perfectly.
00:17:13Clearly not.
00:17:13So moving forward, you know, like, into the next episode, did you have any, did you feel, like, how can
00:17:20you be proud of yourself when you know you rigged the game to win?
00:17:23I'm proud of myself because I told myself on day one of the show, I'm going to do whatever it
00:17:26takes to win.
00:17:27I'm going to play.
00:17:28And it was within the rules.
00:17:29Yeah.
00:17:29Like, everyone walks into this game saying, I'm going to be cutthroat.
00:17:31I'm going to do whatever it takes.
00:17:33But then you get here, you meet these people, you create incredible bonds.
00:17:36And that's what makes the show so interesting, is those bonds and, you know, trying to work with them.
00:17:40And I told myself, like, I was willing to sacrifice some of those relationships to go further in this game.
00:17:47I have one question.
00:17:48If you guys could do what Jack did and get away with it, raise your hand if you would rig
00:17:54the game of the cubes.
00:17:55If you could do it and get away with it.
00:17:56I mean, you two kind of did.
00:17:57Well.
00:17:58Really, so.
00:17:58Some of us didn't have to.
00:18:00Yeah.
00:18:00You're not cheating.
00:18:01You wouldn't rig the game if you could?
00:18:04Not on JC.
00:18:05We let you shuffle our cards.
00:18:06Yeah.
00:18:06No, I know you didn't.
00:18:07Yeah.
00:18:08We had the choice to rig it.
00:18:10Maybe I don't want to say because I get called back for another season and then, you know.
00:18:14I think I shot myself in the foot.
00:18:16It's like, does the game ever really stop now, you know?
00:18:20Okay.
00:18:21I mean, JC came back.
00:18:22It's true.
00:18:23And ended up in the cube again.
00:18:25Yeah.
00:18:25You know, and brought all that social credit with him.
00:18:27So maybe some of the things he's saying.
00:18:28But I would like to say that the winner was the most ethical and honest player in the game.
00:18:34Wow.
00:18:34In my opinion.
00:18:35That's a statement.
00:18:36Wow.
00:18:37Do you guys agree with that?
00:18:39Yes.
00:18:40Do you agree with that?
00:18:42I think I could.
00:18:43The most?
00:18:44The most ethical and moral?
00:18:46I think him and Corey were, yes.
00:18:47Yeah, I think him and Corey.
00:18:48So good guys can finish first.
00:18:51Honestly, you don't need to cheat to win.
00:18:53Do you think he was the most honest and ethical in the words of Sue?
00:18:56I mean, it's hard.
00:18:57I mean, if you're going to have like a ranking system, I think like you said, I think Corey
00:19:01was very honest and ethical.
00:19:02I think you were.
00:19:03I think Corey couldn't hurt a fly, I will say.
00:19:04Yeah.
00:19:05I get the extra Corey.
00:19:06I got to stand behind Hannah forever.
00:19:08Behind Hannah.
00:19:09Yeah, she turned down a million dollars.
00:19:11I mean, I'll also say for Corey, like he almost lost the game for himself to not go
00:19:16back on his word for me.
00:19:17Yeah.
00:19:17So I mean, that is wild.
00:19:19Do you think there's a reason why the two you guys would consider the most honest and
00:19:24ethical ended up being the top two?
00:19:25Do you think there's a correlation to it or it's just a coincidence?
00:19:30Well, it was a lot of voting and like Tyler got through with having to spend any money
00:19:35because we all love him so much.
00:19:36Because he didn't burn anybody.
00:19:37I wouldn't say he didn't burn anybody.
00:19:39Well, there's different types of burning.
00:19:42Wait, who did he burn?
00:19:43Who did he burn?
00:19:44Well, there's a moment that I want to talk about in the finale.
00:19:47But, but, but, because I believe in fresh beginnings, forgiveness.
00:19:53Sue, is there anything that Jack could do to gain your forgiveness or gain a new chapter
00:19:59in your book?
00:20:00I mean, I've so moved beyond Jack.
00:20:02Like there's, it's, there's nothing.
00:20:05I mean, I don't hate him.
00:20:07I just, he's not the type of person that I would want to surround myself with.
00:20:10It's not the type of person I would hang with.
00:20:12I'm willing to take that on the chin.
00:20:14And if I give a sec, I would like say something like I'm, I'm going to step up and I'm
00:20:18not
00:20:18going to apologize for the move.
00:20:19I'm, I'm going to apologize for not telling you before.
00:20:21And cause listen, once again, you can say I was hiding behind the NDA.
00:20:25That was not my intention to say it like that.
00:20:28You do not have to forgive me.
00:20:29I'm not, I'm not asking for your forgiveness, but I'm glad we can have this conversation.
00:20:32Like, I am sorry for not like making you endure that in front of your family and friends.
00:20:37If I was in your situation, like looking back, I do feel terrible.
00:20:42Cause that, that I don't want people to experience that.
00:20:44I don't want people to experience like my actions hurting them and their, and like your friends
00:20:50and family.
00:20:50So if I could do it all over again, I would tell you beforehand.
00:20:54I would still do the cute thing, but I did not want to hurt you with my actions outside
00:20:59of the game.
00:20:59So for that, I know you don't have to forgive me, but I just wanted to take the opportunity
00:21:03to say like, I am sorry.
00:21:04And you have like, I have learned a lesson in this from this.
00:21:09Good.
00:21:09Yes.
00:21:10Perfect.
00:21:10Seems like a good place to move on.
00:21:12Yeah.
00:21:12Bring us both back on season three.
00:21:13I appreciate this.
00:21:14Please bring us back on season three.
00:21:16Are we going to be, are we going to be allies?
00:21:17Are we going to work together?
00:21:18Are you going to come to us?
00:21:19Oh yeah.
00:21:19I'm going to be your best friend.
00:21:22I forgive you.
00:21:22I forgive you.
00:21:23She's going to have a third deck on top of the second deck.
00:21:26Oh jeez.
00:21:27All right.
00:21:27Let's move on.
00:21:29I think there's a lot.
00:21:30I appreciate you guys being so open and transparent and having the conversation.
00:21:33I want to take you guys behind the scenes or our beast games reunion shoot, because
00:21:36we set up this entire space from scratch.

00:22:35And thank you again to Linktree for sponsoring this video.
00:22:38I actually want to talk about the $10 million coin for a bit.
00:22:42Let's play the clip when you reintroduced it.
00:22:45And Jimmy, I'm curious why you brought it in earlier this season in episode four,
00:22:49instead of the finale from last season.
00:22:51Inside this case, you might remember this from season one, is a coin.
00:23:00A $10 million coin to be precise.
00:23:04Oh, JC!
00:23:05And so, JC, if you make it to the top six, I will let you flip this coin to double
00:23:13the
00:23:14prize pool to $10 million.
00:23:15Wow.
00:23:16What's going on in your mind?
00:23:18Oh, yeah.
00:23:24Leverage.
00:23:24Leverage.
00:23:25Love that.
00:23:26That was crazy.
00:23:27Dude, Jeff was so mad.
00:23:29Tell me about the $10 million coin.
00:23:31Like, how did you come up with the idea?
00:23:32Like, I mean, every time you bring that into play, you're about to lose a ton of money,
00:23:36potentially.
00:23:37Yeah.
00:23:37Well, one of the things, I mean, I loved how it played out in season one.
00:23:41But one of the sad things is it's so deep in the show, not everyone knew.
00:23:45Yeah.
00:23:45You know, and like, so I wanted in season two to bring it in earlier, so people, A, would
00:23:51know about it more while watching the show, and B, it can just kind of become more of a
00:23:55strategic thing.
00:23:55And then truthfully, see, Gage hitting that in season one hurt.
00:23:59Like, that $5 million, and so I was like, I also want to have the opportunity to buy
00:24:03it off them, you know, so maybe we could have a show slightly on budget for once.
00:24:08And so just kind of, but the big one is like, a lot of people, you know, who watched some
00:24:12of the earlier episodes in season one, and maybe didn't finish it, like, they didn't
00:24:15even know we gave away $10 million, and so that was a big one.
00:24:18It's just having it be like more of a through story instead of just jamming it at the end.
00:24:21Yeah.
00:24:22No, I thought it was such an interesting dynamic.
00:24:25Monica, obviously that changed the game quite a bit for you when JC gave you his coin.
00:24:31What were you thinking when you got that?
00:24:33Was it your, like, leverage in your own sense?
00:24:36In the cubes, I want to ask if you remember this, but you asked Jim and I how we both
00:24:44actually
00:24:45felt about the coin, and you know, he was extremely enthusiastic.
00:24:48I wanted it.
00:24:49He wanted it super bad.
00:24:50I was trying to get it.
00:24:50The entire time he was asking for it.
00:24:52I was trying to get the coin.
00:24:53That was all I did.
00:24:54If Jim wants something, you know, because he'll say it.
00:24:56I was trying to get JC to give me that coin.
00:24:59I wanted it.
00:25:00And you had asked me how I felt about it, and I actually put my hands up, and I took
00:25:04a
00:25:04step back, and I said, I want nothing to do with it.
00:25:07I was not expecting JC to give me the coin.
00:25:10I thought it was a lot of responsibility.
00:25:13Obviously, you kind of have to play your cards right with the coin, and I think my only regret
00:25:20in the show actually comes from that cube right after JC gave me that coin.
00:25:26I had the option to tell the group or to keep it to myself, and I wish I kept it
00:25:31to myself, but I did not want the group to be mad at Jim and I for eliminating JC and
00:25:36the chance to double the money.
00:25:39But I wish I just kept my mouth.
00:25:40I wish I kept my mouth quiet.
00:25:42Just never even said you had it in the first place.
00:25:43Because it's a lot easier to hide something when people aren't looking for it.
00:25:48If everybody just thinks the coin is gone, then nobody's going to be looking for it.
00:25:53Nobody's going to be thinking about the prize.
00:25:54But on the flip side, the coin at that time, you're probably thinking, if people know I have this, they're
00:25:58more likely to keep me in because you can double the prize pool.
00:26:01So, I mean, there's...
00:26:03You didn't need anybody to keep you in.
00:26:04Yeah.
00:26:04There's smooth brain plays both ways.
00:26:06I mean, there's also the rule where, yeah, you keep it a secret, and then if you're on the chopping
00:26:09block, you pull it out and you're like...
00:26:11Exactly.
00:26:11Yeah, and then maybe it hits a little harder then.
00:26:13Yeah, and I think the coin really was like a safety blanket.
00:26:16You know, I obviously made the decision to come out and tell everybody, we have it, it's not gone.
00:26:22And I did feel a little safer with it, but I never felt like it was this immunity idol, obviously.
00:26:29But I just, I never wanted it originally, but I'm happy that I ended up getting it, and I'm happy
00:26:35with the decision I made.
00:26:36Yeah.
00:26:37Well, that's what's interesting is you wanted it.
00:26:39You kept asking.
00:26:40And there's a separate timeline where Jim ends up with the coin, and God knows what would have happened then.
00:26:45You probably would have...
00:26:46This show would have been $10 million.
00:26:48You probably have $10 million right now, bro.
00:26:50Would the bribe have gone to a million next?
00:26:52Yeah, maybe right when we got to Saudi or something, but there was a million dollars ready to...
00:26:57So, I mean, I will say...
00:26:59Right when we got to Saudi, bro.
00:27:00Are you kidding me?
00:27:01In another world where I was chosen captain for the graveyards instead of Nick, I, and you know, people can
00:27:07believe me or not, I would have taken my fair share.
00:27:09I would not have taken the bribe for $500K, but if I was bribed for a million dollars in the
00:27:15phone game, I would have taken it in front of everybody.
00:27:17I mean, that's a no-brainer.
00:27:18Yeah.
00:27:19I would have been okay with that.
00:27:20Yeah.
00:27:20I mean, that's such a big no-brainer.
00:27:22Monica, I want to play that moment where you decide to sell the coin, because I think it's one of
00:27:27the boldest moves in Beast Games history, maybe even competition TV show history.
00:27:32I would like to give you this coin.
00:27:34You just won half a million dollars?
00:27:37How does that feel?
00:27:37The bold thing is what comes after.
00:27:39Very surreal, honestly.
00:27:41What feels right in this moment is to take half a million dollars and to leave whatever is left to
00:27:47the other three people.
00:27:48Whoa, wait.
00:27:49That's a new thing.
00:27:50Did I catch that right?
00:27:51You're thinking of not taking any of this $188,000.
00:27:54No.
00:27:55It's Monica's villain arc.
00:27:58Wow.
00:28:00I forgot who said that.
00:28:01Bruh.
00:28:02Oh my God.
00:28:02And so I made the decision to take zero dollars.
00:28:06Yeah, that's Monica.
00:28:10And leave $188,534 for the three people who stood behind me.
00:28:18Yeah.
00:28:20It's Monica's villain arc season.
00:28:25I love that.
00:28:27It's a beast.
00:28:27Well, Jim, your face when you found out she took zero dollars.
00:28:30I don't know how he bought that.
00:28:31Like, I don't know how he genuinely believed that.
00:28:34And Nick, how did you feel when you heard that?
00:28:36I don't know.
00:28:36I was like, hmm.
00:28:38Zero dollars.
00:28:39I don't know.
00:28:40It just, it didn't sound right.
00:28:42I'm going to be honest.
00:28:43I wouldn't get into acting if I were you because of them tears.
00:28:46They were not coming out.
00:28:47Whoa.
00:28:48I actually thought it was pretty convincing.
00:28:49You did?
00:28:50I thought it was pretty convincing.
00:28:51Yeah.
00:28:51I don't know.
00:28:52Jim was convinced.
00:28:52You seemed pretty convinced.
00:28:54I did for like, I was like, oh, shoot.
00:28:56Maybe she did.
00:28:57Maybe she did.
00:28:57But like, shortly, like right after the court, like kind of dispersed, I like, me and Brett
00:29:03were talking and I'm like, I think something's up.
00:29:07Monica, why did you lie about it?
00:29:09Like, that was a split second decision.
00:29:10Like, we were there.
00:29:11I think you made your decision about 20 minutes to take the bribe and then lie about it.
00:29:15Because as soon as people in this game know you have a significant amount of money, you're
00:29:20next on the chopping block to go home.
00:29:22Mm-hmm.
00:29:22I don't care what anybody says.
00:29:24That's what it is.
00:29:25And I mean, I think in the phone game, August said, you know, if you had just been honest
00:29:28with us about, you know, selling the coin, you would still be here.
00:29:32That's a crock of crap.
00:29:33No, I think it's pretty accurate that if you sold it and said, guys, I had to sell it
00:29:39to make sure the people after me made money, I think that a lot of people wouldn't have
00:29:45had an issue with that.
00:29:46Because realistically, we knew that you would keep getting bribed and if a million dollars
00:29:50was in front of your face, I don't think anybody would end up blaming you.
00:29:53But if you took 500K for the betterment of everybody else to make more money, I think
00:29:57that you could have saved face right there on the court.
00:30:00And I don't think anybody would have been pointing any fingers at you because me and Brett
00:30:03were already in the hot seat.
00:30:04So...
00:30:05Yeah, I definitely think if I did that, you guys wouldn't have had an issue with me coming
00:30:09clean, but I still wouldn't have made it through in that phone game.
00:30:12I think if you had like 60, 70K to bribe people with, because at that point in the game too,
00:30:16I think once Tyler got through and Hannah made the move like she did, I think it was divided
00:30:21between people who were going to spend money and people who were going to make money.
00:30:23So I think if you just, let's just say you had 60K and you're like, hey guys, I'm just
00:30:26going to give these four people 15K, I think you could have gotten through.
00:30:30I spent 33 in that phone game and I think he went up to almost six figures to push me
00:30:35through.
00:30:35What did you think he was going to vote for?
00:30:37Why do you, why do you think, you know, the people that you took zero dollars and allowed
00:30:40to get more money, like Katie, why didn't you push her through?
00:30:45Or Jim?
00:30:46That was one thing I was curious about.
00:30:48Well, I was, at that time I was still thinking about how I could get through.
00:30:52Uh-huh.
00:30:53Um, but realizing that that probably wasn't going to happen, Brett actually came in my
00:30:58cube and told me that he was going to make a push for the next round.
00:31:01And then August had made a higher offer to me and then they came back later.
00:31:07August came in and dumped money on my floor.
00:31:09What's confusing though to me is because she took zero in the money split.
00:31:14And so, me, you, Hannah, we're all getting $20,000 more because of that move.
00:31:21Let's play the clip of that.
00:31:22I'm going to give you $23,000.
00:31:24Uh, August offered me $25,000.
00:31:27You know, I mean, at the end of the day, I did give you Hannah and Jim more money and
00:31:31I did take zero dollars and I'm about to leave the game with zero dollars as well.
00:31:35What do you owe him?
00:31:36You don't owe him anything.
00:31:37Well, he's giving me more money.
00:31:39He's zeroing out.
00:31:40She's going to zero out too and I'll give you seven on top of that.
00:31:42I've already, I've already taken the bribe at this point.
00:31:46I guess.
00:31:47I'm so sorry.
00:31:48I feel so bad.
00:31:49Yeah, I would feel really bad too because Monica literally took zero dollars for you to be in this game.
00:31:54Oh, that does not feel good.
00:31:56So, you know, when August or somebody wants to come and throw $25,000, well, Monica's already given you $20
00:32:05,000 before the game even started.
00:32:06And now we're throwing $30,000 on top of that.
00:32:08Well, I gave everybody $750,000, so what about that?
00:32:12I don't have $750,000.
00:32:15What are you talking about?
00:32:16I'm just saying, amongst people, I let people make money.
00:32:18No, we were all going to get $20,000 less because of you.
00:32:22We got $20,000 more because of you.
00:32:26So like...
00:32:26He does have a point.
00:32:27I don't understand why...
00:32:28He's got 500k, I mean.
00:32:30I don't, yeah, but it doesn't change the gesture.
00:32:31I don't know why we would vote for somebody that, I mean, no offense, like it's just game, you know
00:32:35what I mean?
00:32:36But like, why would you vote for somebody that took money from you rather than somebody who gave you money?
00:32:41And that's why I felt horrible about it.
00:32:44Obviously I cried.
00:32:45Yeah.
00:32:46But then there's also, you know, I got to take money home to my family too.
00:32:50And there's the other side of it, like Brett took extra money.
00:32:53And so it was a move for me to get some of that money back.
00:32:57And if that's the case, then why don't we try to get more money out of Brett?
00:33:01I mean, he walked into the top six to compete for $5 million with $190 in your pocket, right?
00:33:08$193?
00:33:09Yeah, $193.
00:33:12Brett, you're awfully quiet right now, man.
00:33:14I want to talk about the moment where I think it was, what, Jimmy, three hours that Brett took?
00:33:20I mean, it was a long time.
00:33:21It was 20 hours it took Brett to make a decision.
00:33:23That's what it felt like.
00:33:25We're still waiting on the decision.
00:33:28He hasn't even decided yet.
00:33:31But Brett, I want to play the moment where you made a decision because it seemed like you looked at
00:33:36the money and things began to change.
00:33:38Brett, whatever you say is final, how much money do you want?
00:33:44I'm going to say $250,000, Joe.
00:33:47I didn't hold true to my word.
00:33:50That was by far the hardest decision I've ever made in my life.
00:33:53This is life-changing money.
00:33:55And I feel bad.
00:33:57I feel somber.
00:33:59I don't even want to touch it.
00:34:00It feels dirty to me.
00:34:03Crazy.
00:34:04It's a big pile.
00:34:05That's close here.
00:34:07Brett, you said before it was a real test of character.
00:34:10Yeah.
00:34:11Seeing that clip back.
00:34:14I'm just curious.
00:34:15What was going through your mind?
00:34:16Oh, my God.
00:34:16I was up there for two hours.
00:34:18Everything was going through my mind.
00:34:20When I was walking up there, I was 100% taking $100,000.
00:34:24Even after Nick told me $250,000, I'm like, yeah, I'll probably take $100,000.
00:34:28And then I got up there, I'm like, oh.
00:34:30This is not as easy as I thought it was going to be.
00:34:32And honestly, even three seconds before I said the number, I didn't know what I was going to say.
00:34:37I was still deciding at that point.
00:34:39Wow.
00:34:40And so I made the decision, and I wanted to leave so Corey could take it as well.
00:34:45I knew he wouldn't take it all, but I wanted to give him the opportunity to take similar to what
00:34:49I had.
00:34:50Yeah.
00:34:51So yeah, that's my thought.
00:34:52I could be here for two hours if you want to go through everything.
00:34:54But that was kind of the general gist of that.
00:34:56And that's what's interesting about the game is because they don't know what's coming next.
00:35:00And so for all he knows, he gets out.
00:35:01And then we could be watching this back and he could be like, man, why didn't I take more money
00:35:06instead of just $100,000?
00:35:08And so that's what makes it interesting.
00:35:10Jimmy, do you ever think about the design of the games from year to year?
00:35:13Because the money pool happened last year.
00:35:16Yeah.
00:35:16It happened this year, obviously, with the coffin element.
00:35:19Do you ever think about contestants predicting your next move too much?
00:35:24Yeah, well, it was a lot easier in the first season because no one knew what anything was.
00:35:29And even in the second season, people were, you know, obviously, they had no idea if we were going to
00:35:32bring games back or not.
00:35:34We're currently working on season three and since we're already doing casting and some people know they're going to be
00:35:38in it,
00:35:38I can't say too much, but I definitely don't want people to be able to predict what the next games
00:35:43are.
00:35:43I'm curious of how aware you guys were of all the cameras that were on you during the show,
00:35:49especially after the 30, 40 days, because you guys said some stuff that I cannot believe.
00:35:53They caught it on camera.
00:35:55Do we have any clips or no?
00:35:56Oh, yeah, sure, yeah.
00:35:57Please do not.
00:35:57No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:36:01Actually, no, no, no, chill.
00:36:02All right.
00:36:03We have never before seen clip from the show.
00:36:05Oh.
00:36:06Oh, I can't wait.
00:36:07It was in our BTS.
00:36:07I want to play this clip of Monica.
00:36:09Oh.
00:36:10Come on.
00:36:10Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
00:36:13What are you doing?
00:36:14Do you know what this conversation is, Jake?
00:36:15Yes, and I can clarify it.
00:36:16You want to eliminate all the girls one by one.
00:36:19Am I hearing you correctly?
00:36:19Not going to know that I will.
00:36:21I will do whatever it takes to get them all out of here.
00:36:25I'm doing all my work from the shadows.
00:36:30From the shadows.
00:36:32Just to be clear.
00:36:33And you guys didn't back me in grades.
00:36:37I didn't want to, but I would.
00:36:40Wait, Monica, let me just back up.
00:36:42Where'd you get those shots?
00:36:44That was a city.
00:36:46That was fire.
00:36:47Behind the scenes is on the case.
00:36:50Wow.
00:36:51Monica, when you're saying that, are you aware that the cameras are on you?
00:36:54No, absolutely not.
00:36:55Okay, so that's like, what's that look, Sue?
00:36:58What a look.
00:37:00I'm just still shocked that she said that, to be honest.
00:37:04Well, yeah, let me ask this.
00:37:05Katie, Hannah, Sue, like, you guys obviously were with Monica for quite some time.
00:37:11Like, hearing that, how does that make you feel?
00:37:14I'm sort of sad because I feel like this was such a strong male-dominated season.
00:37:20And, I mean, and they're all great guys, but I felt like I like to stick.
00:37:25You said it.
00:37:26I was like, I did it.
00:37:27I made it.
00:37:28I'm good.
00:37:28I'm good now.
00:37:29She said guys, not kids.
00:37:31All of the guys are great.
00:37:33Sue.
00:37:34From here back.
00:37:35I'm still technically a kid, so.
00:37:38So, like, for me, I've always been someone who fights for the underdog.
00:37:43And I want to help women move forward and feel empowered and feel strength.
00:37:49And Monica's such a powerful presence that, to me, it's a shame that she didn't really
00:37:55want to help the women and was just going to stick with the men.
00:37:58Just who she is, but it's fine.
00:38:00You know, but just, it's surprising.
00:38:02So, I just want to say that when I got off the plane initially in Vegas, I saw you, John.
00:38:10And, you know, we did a little interview.
00:38:11And I believe I told you that I, my goal was to send everybody home one by one.
00:38:16Yes.
00:38:16Whether it was a man, whether it was a woman, I wanted to send everybody home one by one.
00:38:21And that clip, you know, I didn't want to get rid of girls, but I would if that's what
00:38:26it meant at the end of the day.
00:38:27Well, what's interesting is, the guys seemed to team up really well, as opposed to the
00:38:34women.
00:38:34And so, and I think that ended up helping you guys a lot, because, you know, they were,
00:38:37the women were four main alliance, but they weren't, and they kind of were, and they were
00:38:41constantly backstepping each other.
00:38:42And for the most part, you know, until like maybe the last episode, the guys were like
00:38:46pretty rock solid.
00:38:47And I actually think that helped them quite a bit.
00:38:49Yeah.
00:38:50It's so interesting.
00:38:50What do you guys think about Hannah?
00:38:53Yeah.
00:38:54I mean, I think what you don't see is that there's a lot more interconnected relationships
00:39:00than you actually see on the show.
00:39:01Yeah.
00:39:02So I think it's not as clear cut as you see.
00:39:04For example, like, for me, I feel like actually seeing that clip, I'm not at all emotionally
00:39:08offended.
00:39:09I'm more just strategically surprised, because I think you would have had, I think there
00:39:14was this mega Avengers alliance going on, and I think it would have been prudent for
00:39:19the rest of us.
00:39:19That's literally what they called themselves.
00:39:21Yes.
00:39:21Prudent for us all to team up against them.
00:39:24And since that was not really the strategic situation going on, me and Katie decided to
00:39:30join them instead as sort of like a separate little mini thing.
00:39:33Like me, Katie, Nick, and August had a very, very loose sort of side deal thing going on.
00:39:41And so...
00:39:42If we knew about that.
00:39:43Side deal.
00:39:43You said you did know?
00:39:45We did not know about that.
00:39:46Oh, yeah.
00:39:46No, we did.
00:39:47We did not know about that.
00:39:48And obviously that doesn't get us, that doesn't help us at final 10, because we're like
00:39:52more at the outer shell of that, but that helps save us for the heart smashing.
00:39:56Like I felt completely safe, completely throwing the last smart challenge so that Nick could
00:40:00win, because I felt completely safe with both of them.
00:40:02I just can't get over the fact, like, I know Monica, you said like, that was a moment
00:40:06that you didn't know you were on camera.
00:40:08Mm-hmm.
00:40:08I just...
00:40:09Help me understand why you would turn to the camera and say, it's your villain arc season.
00:40:13Or, or this moment, if we could play it from episode six.
00:40:17She just wants to be a villain.
00:40:19Where you admitted to lying, like to the camera, like nobody prompted you.
00:40:23Oh, when she's up in the air.
00:40:24Oh, dude.
00:40:26That was sick.
00:40:27That was cool.
00:40:28Kim, as I had a very genuine and honest conversation without cameras and everything,
00:40:32and then when the cameras got in front of him, it felt like to me, like it went out the
00:40:34window.
00:40:37You're saying Jim, when the camera's on, is different?
00:40:40Yeah.
00:40:40But if, if she can save Jim, I will save Tyler.
00:40:44You know, I've stood by everything I've said here.
00:40:46I'm gonna keep doing it.
00:40:48I'm not lying.
00:40:55I got you.
00:40:56Oh!
00:40:56Oh!
00:40:57Why take that moment to admit you're lying?
00:41:00Fascinating.
00:41:02Uh...
00:41:03It's iconic.
00:41:05Honestly, I was joshing with Carl up there.
00:41:07He was like making me laugh and like, he's like, how much longer you got?
00:41:11I'm just like, ah, you know, maybe like a half an hour.
00:41:13It's iconic.
00:41:14And I, I, I tell Briley, you know, cause I went into this knowing that I was not going
00:41:20to stick with, um, Briley and Katie specifically.
00:41:25And, um, you know, I had told her, hey, you know, I'm, I'm gonna keep you safe.
00:41:29And I think I turned one way or the other and I'm just telling Carl, like, I'm lying.
00:41:34And like, yeah, that, that's how it came out.
00:41:37Wow.
00:41:37Yeah.
00:41:37Oh, that was a line to Carl.
00:41:39It was.
00:41:39It was iconic.
00:41:40I will say it.
00:41:41It was iconic.
00:41:41You delivered a lot of lines.
00:41:43Come on.
00:41:43A lot of moments.
00:41:44A lot of you guys here did.
00:41:45That's why you're here.
00:41:45Jim, I'm curious about that line from Briley where she said she had a more genuine conversation
00:41:49with you off camera than on camera.
00:41:51How many of you guys felt that Jim was more genuine off camera than on camera?
00:41:56I mean, when you're in the middle of like a challenge and Mr. Beast is screaming five
00:42:01million.
00:42:01Like, yeah, I'm freaking out.
00:42:03I'm excited.
00:42:04There's, I'm the eighth person in a money split and there's a, there's 188 K like that's
00:42:08exciting.
00:42:09That's really good.
00:42:10Like I'm not going to shy away from enjoying the moment of being a part of this experience.
00:42:14Like, I don't even think I ever said, thank you.
00:42:17You know, I guess like it could be taken, like I'm playing up my reactions.
00:42:21I'm really not.
00:42:22I'm just living in the moment.
00:42:24I was genuinely living my dreams.
00:42:28I was genuinely having the best time.
00:42:29I have to say, I thought you were hysterical from start to finish.
00:42:32I was having the best time ever.
00:42:34Like it was the most amazing thing.
00:42:36You were hysterical.
00:42:36I think with Jim too is sometimes like he'll just say what everyone's thinking but no one
00:42:40wanted to say it.
00:42:40So it was always nice.
00:42:41I mean like, dude, I've been watching Beast videos so long, man.
00:42:45I've been watching these videos forever, dude.
00:42:47So like to finally be in like the biggest project to be in Beast games and to make it
00:42:54as far as I did.
00:42:56Wow.
00:42:57How did your relationship start?
00:42:59There we go.
00:43:00So yeah, we can clear this up right here.
00:43:03The internet thinks it's fake.
00:43:04You guys only knew each other for two hours.
00:43:06I know.
00:43:06I know.
00:43:07It was two weeks.
00:43:08Two hours.
00:43:09The internet said it was two hours.
00:43:11We were in that Vegas hotel for a lot longer than we expected.
00:43:15And we got to know each other in that meantime.
00:43:17We met after dinner.
00:43:18After the coin flip dinner.
00:43:20Wow.
00:43:20We met after that dinner.
00:43:22Do you want to explain the story?
00:43:23You're more elegant than me.
00:43:24We'll just give you a really clear timeline.
00:43:26We did not know each other before the show.
00:43:28We met on I think day two in Vegas.
00:43:31We were coming back from the dinner where all 200 contestants were invited.
00:43:36I told them his flannel was on inside out.
00:43:38He turns around.
00:43:40He gives me a really cheesy smile.
00:43:41And it was at that moment where it was just over for me.
00:43:44Yeah.
00:43:44We start talking.
00:43:45And I said, I guess it is.
00:43:47Yeah.
00:43:47We start talking.
00:43:48That was the line that I followed you.
00:43:50I nailed that line.
00:43:51I nailed that.
00:43:52I'm telling you, I nailed that.
00:43:53I remember knowing that.
00:43:54I'm wearing that one.
00:43:55I was cooking with that one.
00:43:57Yeah.
00:43:57So we start talking over the next couple of days.
00:43:59And then it was only until, or it was only after episode two where we had gone our separate ways
00:44:05in the challenge.
00:44:05We had come back.
00:44:06And I believe that was two weeks into filming where we had then made it official.
00:44:11So it wasn't two days.
00:44:13It wasn't two hours.
00:44:14It was two weeks.
00:44:16And in B-City, two weeks feels like two months.
00:44:19Yeah, for real.
00:44:19It really does.
00:44:20You have no phones.
00:44:21You're just you and me hanging out in the city, no distractions, no jobs or work or anything like that.
00:44:29Yeah.
00:44:29So when you have that much time to spend with someone, things can move pretty quick.
00:44:34And I honestly don't feel like two weeks is a ridiculous time to make it official with someone.
00:44:39No.
00:44:39That's not ridiculous.
00:44:40It is a ridiculous time to make it official and get married.
00:44:43Okay.
00:44:44To get married.
00:44:44So let's play a clip.
00:44:46Oh, God.
00:44:47Oh, God.
00:44:47When not only you got married, but your parents came to B-City and you guys introduced yourselves as husband
00:44:53and wife.
00:44:55At common law, at common law, at common law.
00:44:58Tim's like, yeah, we got married.
00:45:00And the parents were like, uh, I was like, I mean, they did.
00:45:05Married.
00:45:05No, we're married.
00:45:06For real?
00:45:07Yeah, we did a little, we did a marriage thing.
00:45:10If she loves James, I love her.
00:45:13Wow.
00:45:14Like, this is the storyline.
00:45:15So many people have been following.
00:45:16I'm like, what are their parents going to think?
00:45:18I love it.
00:45:20Yeah.
00:45:22That face.
00:45:24I love it.
00:45:24That's great.
00:45:25So I think that marriage was, that was when everybody was at Fiji.
00:45:29So maybe three or four weeks, something like that.
00:45:31Okay.
00:45:32And Jack, you ordained that wedding?
00:45:33I sure did.
00:45:34I ordained myself as a minister when I turned 18.
00:45:37Yeah.
00:45:37Because, you know, every teenager when they turn 18, they look up, what can you do when you turn 18?
00:45:40The first three things were skydive, buy a lottery ticket, and get ordained as a minister.
00:45:44And once I got those two done, the only logical step is to get ordained as a minister.
00:45:47Oh, so you were ready before B-City.
00:45:49Oh, I was ready.
00:45:49That was like my fourth wedding at this point.
00:45:51Oh, wow.
00:45:52Yeah.
00:45:52And so, if you divorce her, do you get half her 500 grand?
00:45:56Ooh.
00:45:57I don't know how it works.
00:45:58I know it's technically a common law marriage.
00:46:02It's technically a common law.
00:46:03If she won the $5 million and you divorced her, would you have gotten half?
00:46:06Was this like the long game, Jim?
00:46:09Um...
00:46:09We'll have to wait and find out.
00:46:13No.
00:46:14No, no, no.
00:46:16But, I mean...
00:46:17Yo, what is this?
00:46:19Why are you all choked up?
00:46:20Why are you all choked up?
00:46:21What's happening?
00:46:21You're waiting a long time to answer, Jim.
00:46:23You're tweaking.
00:46:23That was not the game plan.
00:46:26That was not the game plan.
00:46:27Okay.
00:46:27That was very convincing.
00:46:28That was obviously not the game plan.
00:46:29No, it's so ridiculous.
00:46:31Well, because they signed agreements that say they can't split the money.
00:46:34Right.
00:46:34Right.
00:46:35Maybe that's the loopholes.
00:46:36You get married and then divorce and then...
00:46:38There was no...
00:46:39And then maybe that's their insurance plan.
00:46:42Honestly, we were just having fun.
00:46:44Like, we were just having fun.
00:46:46It wasn't like...
00:46:48I didn't think...
00:46:49Like, people on the internet were looking at it like, what is this?
00:46:52Like, is this some kind of like...
00:46:53We were just having fun.
00:46:55Like, people were bored in this city.
00:46:56We were looking for something to do.
00:46:58Just having fun.
00:46:59Getting down on one knee.
00:47:00Yeah.
00:47:00It was like...
00:47:01Bringing in an ordained minister.
00:47:03Yeah.
00:47:04Just having fun.
00:47:04Up to that point, that was like...
00:47:05A real honorable ordained minister.
00:47:08I have my ordained minister's life.
00:47:10I have it framed in my backpack right.
00:47:12Chad, do you want me to go get my ordained minister's wife?
00:47:15We believe you.
00:47:16We believe you.
00:47:16The wedding was a public display of affection.
00:47:20And I think we just wanted to be the first ones to do it.
00:47:23To get married in this city.
00:47:25It was a good time.
00:47:26But it wasn't even our first...
00:47:27Wait, wait.
00:47:27You just wanted to do...
00:47:29Be the first in this city not to...
00:47:30It was fun.
00:47:31It was fun.
00:47:32It was cute and it was fun.
00:47:33We don't have like, a legal marriage certificate.
00:47:37But like...
00:47:38You should double check that.
00:47:39It was fun for us.
00:47:40I signed a couple things.
00:47:42Do you ever expect a couple to get married?
00:47:45When...
00:47:45No.
00:47:46I mean, I wasn't even there.
00:47:48Until I saw the footage, I was like, oh, they're just joking.
00:47:50I mean, we have a Lego ring and a piece of string.
00:47:53Like, we're obviously like, eventually, hopefully, like, we'll do it for real.
00:47:56Do you feel like he's walking it back?
00:47:59Yeah, I feel like he's ripping up the marriage.
00:48:00He's really walking it back here.
00:48:02What do you think?
00:48:03Do you think I'm walking it back?
00:48:05I will say we did not sign a prenup.
00:48:09We did not sign a marriage license.
00:48:11Okay.
00:48:11But, uh...
00:48:12So he had an ordained minister and written vows and a ceremony of marriage.
00:48:16Look, he's the lawyer.
00:48:17That's common law marriage.
00:48:19That's common law.
00:48:19If we hold ourselves out as...
00:48:21I think we're technically married in six states.
00:48:24I mean, we do share an apartment now, so...
00:48:26Oh, you guys live together.
00:48:27Yeah.
00:48:28All right, give us a life update.
00:48:29Are your parents...
00:48:30Are you guys still together?
00:48:32Yes.
00:48:32Yes.
00:48:33Is it fake?
00:48:34No.
00:48:35But the guy on Reddit said it is.
00:48:37That's what they always say.
00:48:39You know that, Jimmy.
00:48:40So, the Beast Games subreddit is pretty active and has a lot of thoughts about you guys.
00:48:45It's ten times more active than season one.
00:48:47It's pretty crazy.
00:48:48It's wild.
00:48:48Shout out to the subreddit.
00:48:50Here's one of the most upvoted posts in the past 24 hours since the finale.
00:48:54Oh, gosh.
00:48:54If we could pull up this.
00:48:56I know what this one is.
00:48:57Is it the target photo?
00:48:57Oh!
00:48:59Oh, I posted that.
00:49:01What?
00:49:02A thousand.
00:49:03Was that you, Jack?
00:49:04Yep.
00:49:05The most satisfying shot of the entire show is on track to be the most upvoted post on
00:49:11the subreddit.
00:49:11That's crazy.
00:49:12And it's the moment August got eliminated.
00:49:14I'm going to go downvote it.
00:49:15I go on the subreddit every day to go and just see what people are saying.
00:49:20And August got a lot more flack than I thought he was going to get in the past week.
00:49:24Yeah.
00:49:24It's been crazy.
00:49:25Let's play that moment to give context about what happened because that was probably
00:49:29one of the biggest betrayals of the show and at the last minute.
00:49:33Tyler, you got to keep kicking.
00:49:35Kick for Hannah.
00:49:36We're all kicking for Hannah.
00:49:39Go for Hannah, please.
00:49:41Is this the one, Tyler?
00:49:42Is this the kill shot?
00:49:54I don't know why that had to happen that way.
00:49:56I mean, we went through the whole game together.
00:49:58Okay.
00:49:59Woo!
00:50:03That was the last thing I was expecting.
00:50:05I'm sorry.
00:50:09It's on your cue.
00:50:12Love you, man.
00:50:18Drop him.
00:50:24John, boy.
00:50:25All right.
00:50:25That was intense.
00:50:26You love this.
00:50:27Come on.
00:50:28I do love this, Jimmy.
00:50:29Tyler, you're the big winner here, but you've been awfully quiet.
00:50:32We've heard you as a nice guy, but that was a pretty bold move there to go against your
00:50:38buddy, August.
00:50:39For sure.
00:50:39What was going through your mind there?
00:50:40I just want to stay.
00:50:41I was flabbergasted when that happened.
00:50:43It was so quiet.
00:50:43I was like, oh my gosh.
00:50:46I would have bet a million dollars that he was going to kick at Hannah.
00:50:49I was so caught off guard.
00:50:52Tell us all about it.
00:50:53I'm sorry.
00:50:53There's a lot of things going through my head at that time.
00:50:57Obviously, seeing Hannah cry wasn't easy, because we were all going for her.
00:51:01I wanted to be a good role model for my boys, so I wanted to switch it up.
00:51:07Additionally, what was going through my mind is, at this point in the game, I couldn't
00:51:11trust him, because he was quick to throw Nick under the bus after the money split with
00:51:18what he said, and then the crap he was talking on him.
00:51:22My thought process was, if he's quick to do this to Nick, his number one guy, what is
00:51:27he willing to do to me moving forward?
00:51:29That was a risk I wasn't willing to take.
00:51:31I guess I feel like the whole Nick thing, he's talking about after money pull.
00:51:37Hold on.
00:51:38Let's give context.
00:51:39After the money pull, you mean the moment you peer pressured Nick?
00:51:43Yeah.
00:51:43You were talking about when he was like, should you tell him or should I?
00:51:46Yeah.
00:51:47Let's play the clip of that.
00:51:48We actually have that from episode eight, money pull.
00:51:53I know there's a lot you want to talk about.
00:51:55Remember, you don't have to say how much money you did or didn't take.
00:52:00That's up to you to disclose.
00:52:02Have fun.
00:52:06Yo, who took all the money?
00:52:10Reasonable question.
00:52:14You want to say it or you want me to say it?
00:52:17I'll say it.
00:52:18I'll own up to it.
00:52:22I did, in fact, take 250K.
00:52:26You want to say it or should I say it?
00:52:29Just to clarify, Tyler, was that the moment that your perception of August started to change as being loyal?
00:52:36Yeah.
00:52:36I mean, there was other moments.
00:52:38Like, he would say one thing and then say another thing to other people.
00:52:41And all of us up here were familiar with all that stuff.
00:52:46And then just leading up to that moment, and then at the library, someone was talking trash about Nick, and
00:52:53he didn't stand up for him.
00:52:54So I'm just, all this stuff was running through my head, and then, you know, seeing Hannah cry.
00:53:00Like, I'm trying to be a good role model for my kids.
00:53:02And then with, you know, knowing the stuff that he did to Nick, not being able to trust him, it
00:53:08was just a strategic move at that point.
00:53:11That was a very long night, and, like, I shouldn't have opened my mouth with, like, certain things I said
00:53:16or, like, peer pressuring Nick.
00:53:17Like, that wasn't my, which, obviously, that's how it was, like, received from everybody else.
00:53:21My intention wasn't to, like, throw Nick under the bus or, like, crap on Nick.
00:53:24It was just, like, me outwardly processing things, which isn't, like, probably a good strategic move.
00:53:29I was just, like, talking through it.
00:53:30And, again, I felt like he had, like, again, there's a line I say in the library.
00:53:34It's in the show where I'm like, I feel like Nick and Brett just cooked themselves for 150K extra.
00:53:38I don't get why they would do that.
00:53:40And so, obviously.
00:53:41If you could go back in time, would you have said, they cooked themselves for 150K extra, but I still
00:53:46support them?
00:53:47Would you play the game more?
00:53:49Yeah, maybe I should have played the game more and maybe I should have shut up about it.
00:53:52But, like, we made up from that.
00:53:53And, again, like, the whole entire phone game, like, the whole reason why I tried to use the coin was
00:53:57to help Nick.
00:53:58But when you did that, you said you used it to push you through first and then Nick second.
00:54:04So how are you going to help him get through if you're already through?
00:54:07I knew that he needed assist because I knew he wasn't going to spend his money.
00:54:09And so I was like, okay, if he can get Jim and Monica's guaranteed vote, that would help
00:54:12because there are other people that want to vote him through.
00:54:13And so, like, Nick and I, like, we had those things in the conversation you're referring to.
00:54:18Um, Jim, you actually came up to me in the hotel and you said,
00:54:21dude, we got to get rid of Nick and Brett, man.
00:54:23And I said, yeah, Jim, I'm down.
00:54:24Because I thought it'd be, like, a strategic play.
00:54:25So the first thing I did, I went to Nick and told him that.
00:54:28And, again, that's probably not strategic on my end, but I wanted him to know that happened.
00:54:30I was like, just so you know, like, Jim said this and I said this,
00:54:33so that way he doesn't know the role's still, like, good.
00:54:34Yeah, but I told you guys.
00:54:35I said if I got a ball, like, you know where it's going.
00:54:38Yeah, no.
00:54:39So I just thought that was, like, I guess I shouldn't have told him, but I was just trying to,
00:54:43like, just say he went out to Brett.
00:54:44Yeah, but it was taken as if, so if someone came up to you and said, I'm going after Monica,
00:54:50are you going to side in with them and be like, yeah, let's get Monica?
00:54:53So that's why I was taken for, like, it depends on the game.
00:54:55But why would I tell you that if I was going to, I was never going to go against you.
00:54:57And you know I was never going to.
00:54:58And I said things I shouldn't have, that's that.
00:55:00I said, yeah, I'm going to get Monica out.
00:55:01I think where it was hard for me is I was unaware that you felt that way.
00:55:04And so it's like, here's my best friend left in the game.
00:55:08And then just, like, that happening out of nowhere.
00:55:10And, like, just, like, you're just knowingly, like, sending me home with, like, nothing in that moment.
00:55:15And I just was so, like, like, I had just no clue that that was, like, it was just, like,
00:55:20it was tough.
00:55:20Like, yeah, I mean, it wasn't an easy decision for me, man.
00:55:24But, you know, I did give clues to, like, my concerns with how you were back and forth with things.
00:55:31Because, you know, we would always, you would always joke, like, whenever I would say to you, like, am I
00:55:36good?
00:55:36Because I'd always ask you, am I good?
00:55:38He would ask me stuff like that.
00:55:39Like, before the Smart Challenge, the memory game, I was like, I'm going to go next.
00:55:43Like, after Nick, he was like, dude, you got me, right, bro?
00:55:45I'm like, dude, what are you talking about?
00:55:45We met and we've been friends since the beginning.
00:55:47I'm like, bro, what are you talking about?
00:55:47Yeah, but it's just, like, some of the back and forth stuff, man.
00:55:50Like, you would say one thing and then do the other.
00:55:53And, like, a lot of people have saw that and realized that that's, yeah.
00:55:58Like, it was just tough to know that and then the stuff you did to him to move forward.
00:56:05Like, when he turned a million dollars down for me, dude, like, in our team, I was like, dude, you're
00:56:09my ride or die.
00:56:10Yeah, and I felt the same way.
00:56:12It was just that one day where I'm like, stripping, yeah.
00:56:14And when he took the 250, I did not care at all.
00:56:18I even told him.
00:56:19I was happy for him.
00:56:20When he came around the graves talking to us, I was like, do whatever you want, man.
00:56:24You deserve it.
00:56:25I was so happy for him.
00:56:27I was so happy for him.
00:56:27But, like, after the fact, though, you just threw him under the bus, man.
00:56:31I didn't understand.
00:56:31That wasn't my intention.
00:56:33Obviously, just like I said, just the outward processing.
00:56:35Like, strategically, I should have just shut up and gone to bed because there was a lot going through my
00:56:38head.
00:56:39But I was just being myself and processing.
00:56:41Which, again, I mean, we've talked about it.
00:56:43Like, I'm sorry for throwing him under the bus.
00:56:45That wasn't my intention.
00:56:46But, I mean, obviously, it freaking didn't work out for me, so.
00:56:50Yeah.
00:56:50And what's interesting is alliances tend to do really well in getting people far.
00:56:55But at the end of the day, there's only one winner.
00:56:56And so, at a certain point, the alliances do have to come to an end.
00:56:59And so, that's also what's... No?
00:57:01No, I don't think so.
00:57:02I mean, if you look at Brett and Corey, they played all the way to the end.
00:57:04I don't think alliances need to...
00:57:07I think it's just, like, statistically improbable that they'll have to, like, fall apart.
00:57:10Because let's just say Jack doesn't go out there and the three of us move on to the top four.
00:57:14What do we do in a scenario with us four and there's, like...
00:57:18That's just not going to happen.
00:57:19That there's going to be us four.
00:57:20It could've.
00:57:20It could've.
00:57:20But, like, realistically, the craziest thing that could possibly happen is three of the four of us being top three.
00:57:26Yeah, but what do we get a scenario with us four and we're in the final four challenge?
00:57:29What do we do?
00:57:30That's just not a like...
00:57:31That's a scenario that would never happen.
00:57:33It could've happened.
00:57:34Listen, I'm all for alliances, right?
00:57:36I guess there's literally nobody else left.
00:57:37But we talked about the entire season.
00:57:39We wanted to get to the end and then it was kind of just every man for himself.
00:57:41Yeah.
00:57:42We always said that.
00:57:43Yeah.
00:57:44But in this situation, obviously, it wasn't like that.
00:57:46I mean, there were two of us out of five.
00:57:48One of the critics said,
00:57:49In each episode, you think you know what is happening, but the twists keep coming.
00:57:52Episode nine of Beast Games may go down as one of the best episodes in reality TV history.
00:57:57Wow.
00:57:57I like that critic.
00:57:58That's a good critic.
00:57:59That's a good critic.
00:58:00Good critic.
00:58:01Well, and as the ones who lived a lot of these twists and turns, I want to ask you guys
00:58:06about that moment.
00:58:09Nick, you know what I'm going to ask about.
00:58:10Yeah.
00:58:11Yeah.
00:58:12At the end of episode nine, the phone is ringing and you're speaking to Jimmy.
00:58:20And you're about to make a decision to send somebody to the next round via final six.
00:58:25Let's play the clip of that.
00:58:27Brett gave you $30,000.
00:58:29And in return, you promised a vote for him.
00:58:31I'll take 30 grand.
00:58:32Okay.
00:58:33But you also promised your vote to Monica after she sent you $33,000.
00:58:38Please don't screw me over this time.
00:58:40I got you.
00:58:41And you've taken money from Monica.
00:58:44Monica, how much money did you give Nick to try to bribe his vote to get into the next round?
00:58:48$33,000.
00:58:49Wow.
00:58:49$33,000.
00:58:50Brett, how much money did you give Nick to try to bribe his vote to get into the next round?
00:58:53$30,000.
00:58:54$30,000.
00:58:55Wow.
00:58:56And what decision did you make?
00:58:58Again, another heavy, heavy decision like the whole season was.
00:59:03I went with Brett, clearly.
00:59:06It was, I mean, yeah.
00:59:08It's crazy.
00:59:09I had a lot of money on the table.
00:59:11And both people gifted me money and all that stuff.
00:59:13My relationship with Brett was clearly a lot closer.
00:59:17And knowing that Monica had $500,000 in her back pocket, it only seemed right.
00:59:21Just because there was dishonest, dishonest stuff.
00:59:25And I'm getting ridiculed by people that already have money, but telling me I'm the one that's greedy.
00:59:30So like that played a big part into everything.
00:59:34But yeah, Brett, it's no secret that Brett and Corey, like we, we all had an alliance for sure.
00:59:38But Brett and Corey were very much a part of that.
00:59:40And I love this dude.
00:59:43And I just, I, it was, it was a heavy decision, but I wanted to do what was right in
00:59:49my mind.
00:59:50That was be for the boys like I was this entire season.
00:59:52I was for my friends and no one could ever take that away from me.
00:59:56Every decision I made in the games was for the benefit of me and my friends.
01:00:01And it all came down to that moment.
01:00:03So yeah.
01:00:05Love you, brother.
01:00:05Love you, bro.
01:00:07Wow.
01:00:08I will say that Nick and I did not have that lengthy history that he had with a lot of
01:00:12the guys.
01:00:13But after the strong and smart challenge, and you know, I mean, I had helped Nick win that pattern game.
01:00:19And I just, I felt like we were closer.
01:00:21That is true.
01:00:22You did.
01:00:22You were the reason he got to him.
01:00:23I felt like we were closer than I think we actually were.
01:00:26Wow.
01:00:26I agree that we had, after the strong and smart challenge, me and Monica had a bond.
01:00:32Because the two of us had to live something in the games that nobody else, it's not easy to look
01:00:38three people in the eye.
01:00:39And I mean, let's face facts.
01:00:42We're not getting a Lamborghini here like Akira and stuff like that.
01:00:45Like we have to look them in the eye and say, you're going home because we said so.
01:00:49Yeah.
01:00:49And it wasn't easy to do that.
01:00:51So I know that we leaned on each other a lot for that.
01:00:53And we did have a bond for that.
01:00:55This is the thing about Beast Games.
01:00:57You've got to build these connections all the way through the games.
01:01:00And this is no hate to Jim and Monica doing their thing.
01:01:02But I feel like because they were so about their relationship, they didn't really branch out to form the strongest
01:01:08bonds with all of us.
01:01:09The way that I had with Brett, Corey, Tyler, Jack, August, and so many other people too.
01:01:14Like what Hannah was saying earlier, like Hannah and Katie, we got pretty close through the island.
01:01:21But this is Beast Games.
01:01:22You've got to form these connections.
01:01:24You've got to be able to whatever.
01:01:26So I could look back and say, yeah, Monica really did help me out with that last chunk of the
01:01:29smart challenge.
01:01:29But it's just the bond that I got with this guy right here was a bit stronger.
01:01:34And that's why I did what I did.
01:01:37Yo, if you look at that game, like I didn't even try to make a push because I knew that.
01:01:43I knew I had spent the whole time with Monica.
01:01:45My relationship was with Monica.
01:01:46I just rode with her the whole time, you know?
01:01:49And so I didn't really take time to get to know Brett on like a super deep level.
01:01:54Or like me, Katie, like even Katie and Hannah, some of my other like closest allies.
01:02:01Y'all, okay?
01:02:04Like we weren't, like we didn't get like super close, you know what I mean?
01:02:07To where like we were like best friends kind of thing.
01:02:10So I don't think we had these deep kind of bonds and connections that you need to make it through
01:02:18the phone game.
01:02:19I think social capital is what we were lacking, not money.
01:02:21I find this very interesting.
01:02:23So if you could talk to people who are going to compete in season three,
01:02:27it sounds like some advice you'd give them is build really deep connections early on.
01:02:31Be friends with everyone.
01:02:32I would say build real connections because all the phony stuff is going to get sought out.
01:02:37If you're a friend to everyone, you're not a friend to me.
01:02:39I feel like a lot of people will see if you're trying to be that guy where you're friends with
01:02:44everybody
01:02:44and telling everybody what they want to hear, that's all going to get caught.
01:02:47You've got to form real friendships.
01:02:48You've got to surround yourself with like-minded individuals with the same common goals.
01:02:51So you're saying it's better to be really, really close with theoretically five people as opposed to kind of close
01:02:57with 20.
01:02:57Yeah, it's no coincidence that Floor 2, the Avengers, made it as far as they did because we had that
01:03:04bond.
01:03:04We all were playing to win.
01:03:05We wanted to make it to the end.
01:03:07Wow.
01:03:07And that's no coincidence.
01:03:09You need that in Beast games.
01:03:11On the flip side, I know I asked all of you guys earlier like,
01:03:15who did not deserve the money that they took home?
01:03:18And you guys had very pointed answers, Brett, Nick.
01:03:22We've unpacked that.
01:03:23But on the flip side, all of you said one person who should have taken home more money, and that
01:03:29was Corey.
01:03:30And Corey can't be here, but I found this Reddit post that is also one of the most upvoted in
01:03:34the subreddit.
01:03:36And I just thought it was really moving.
01:03:37I thought I'd read a part of it.
01:03:39This Reddit post said, some people don't win the prize, but they win something far bigger.
01:03:44Respect, character, and the kind of legacy their kids will be proud of.
01:03:48Corey, I genuinely feel bad seeing you walk away with just $17,000.
01:03:52I truly believe this is not your peak.
01:03:54There's far more greatness ahead of you.
01:03:58Wow.
01:03:59I wish she could be here.
01:04:02Corey, I know you're at work and you tried everything to be here.
01:04:05And yeah, I just wanted to share that on behalf of all the people that are rooting for him.
01:04:09If he was here, I'd ask him, does he regret not taking the million dollars?
01:04:13Yeah.
01:04:13Especially with three kids.
01:04:14I mean, is there anything we didn't hit that you guys want to talk about?
01:04:17I don't know.
01:04:18I just, again, want to thank Hannah so much for turning down a million dollars for me.
01:04:21And I feel so bad that you left with that thing.
01:04:26I regret none of it.
01:04:27I cared about winning and not the money at all.
01:04:30If I could come in and just sign a contract and say,
01:04:32I'll make it to the end and won't win anything, I would.
01:04:35That's right.
01:04:36Hannah plays Survivor on her free time.
01:04:39Yep.
01:04:40Love of the game.
01:04:41The 16 block pattern that got you out, do you know by memory now?
01:04:45No.
01:04:46No.
01:04:46But I replayed it many, many times.
01:04:49Yeah.
01:04:49Sorry.
01:04:51Do you wish you attempted it, pressed the button and you went to attempt it?
01:04:55Yes.
01:04:56No, absolutely.
01:04:57Of course.
01:04:58And if she attempted it, would the three of you, would you have helped her in any way?
01:05:02Yeah.
01:05:02I told her I would have helped.
01:05:04I think I was gone regardless.
01:05:06Oh, really?
01:05:06I think.
01:05:07It was between the two of you.
01:05:08You weren't taking Corey out.
01:05:09I was definitely not.
01:05:11It was impossible, though, because I felt really thankful to all three of you for helping me get that far.
01:05:15So I guess because you were shooting me in the previous one.
01:05:19Yeah.
01:05:19Knowing Corey, the guy he is, he 100% would have helped.
01:05:22Yeah.
01:05:23I think I didn't know what the dynamics were, so I didn't truly know.
01:05:27You were saying, like, I'll help you.
01:05:28Are you going to help me or are you just going to tell me nonsense and I'm going to get
01:05:31myself eliminated?
01:05:32No, I would have helped you.
01:05:32I felt...
01:05:33I mean, he helped you in the previous game.
01:05:36No, they definitely would have.
01:05:37It was the first one.
01:05:37It was whoever hit it was like, gotta get it.
01:05:41Don't tell me that.
01:05:42Just tell me you would have screwed me up for something like that.
01:05:44Does that make you feel, knowing that they would have helped?
01:05:46It made me feel worse, so.
01:05:48Yeah.
01:05:49But thank you.
01:05:50I'm sorry.
01:05:51I wanted to bring this home with the moment that you won $5 million.
01:05:55Do you have the money in your bank account now?
01:05:57I do.
01:05:57Yeah, I checked earlier.
01:05:59Really?
01:05:59You want to pull it up?
01:06:01Can I see it?
01:06:01My phone is over there.
01:06:03Oh.
01:06:03Yeah.
01:06:04Well, I think we have a video of it when...
01:06:07Oh, my God.
01:06:09Oh, my God.
01:06:09So...
01:06:10Oh, my God.
01:06:11You wired him the money this morning?
01:06:12Yes.
01:06:12We obviously...
01:06:13We don't pay winners until the episodes air.
01:06:16We waited until Tyler showed up here today to send him the $5 million.
01:06:19Oh, my God.
01:06:20I made sure Sinan over here had his reaction.
01:06:22So, if you want to hit play, this is when the $5 million hit his bank account.
01:06:25Is it there?
01:06:26It's there.
01:06:28Oh.
01:06:29Golly.
01:06:30Oh, my God.
01:06:31He just ate the $5 million.
01:06:33That's so crazy.
01:06:34Let's see it.
01:06:35Let's see it.
01:06:35Did you film it?
01:06:36Yeah.
01:06:37Oh.
01:06:38Oh, yeah.
01:06:39That's so crazy.
01:06:40Oh, my gosh.
01:06:42Wow.
01:06:44That's so wild.
01:06:46Wow.
01:06:48That's so wild.
01:06:50So, I...
01:06:51Yeah.
01:06:51Congrats.
01:06:52You have the $5 million.
01:06:54When...
01:06:55When...
01:06:55How many days ago was it that you were standing on the money after you won?
01:06:59Wasn't that, like, through four months ago?
01:07:02Five?
01:07:02Yeah.
01:07:03I think it was, like, eight months.
01:07:04Oh, my gosh.
01:07:05Yeah.
01:07:05Eight months ago, you won.
01:07:06Yeah.
01:07:06You were standing on the giant pile of $5 million.
01:07:09I told you that was yours.
01:07:10But, you know, to incentivize people not to leak things, we wait until after the show airs
01:07:14to pay them.
01:07:15And so, that eight-month period, you won $5 million, but you didn't have it.
01:07:19What was that like?
01:07:20Do you sometimes go, oh, am I going to get it?
01:07:22That's a great question.
01:07:23Yeah, like, I was just thinking the whole time, like, is this real?
01:07:27Like, is it legit?
01:07:28Like, when's it going to happen?
01:07:29And then, yeah, it was hard to adjust for the next month and a half after filming.
01:07:34Yeah.
01:07:35But then, once I adjusted back to my normal schedule, I kind of forgot about it.
01:07:38But once things started ramping up again, that's when I was like, man, when's it going
01:07:42to happen?
01:07:43Like, I can't wait.
01:07:44I can't wait to, you know, surprise my wife, show her and my kids.
01:07:47And, yeah, like, it was surreal.
01:07:48Like, it was a hard eight months to wait, you know?
01:07:52Did you ever have a moment where you're like, am I not going to get $5 million?
01:07:55Is this fake?
01:07:56There was a couple moments when I was just, like, thinking, like, is it going to happen?
01:08:01Like, I don't know if it's, is this real?
01:08:03But, you know, just looking back at season one, like, you know, Jeff obviously got paid
01:08:07out.
01:08:08Like, I don't have any distrust in you.
01:08:10I knew you would do it.
01:08:11You're a man of your word and stuff, so.
01:08:13Oh, thank goodness.
01:08:14Yeah.
01:08:14No, you're awesome, man.
01:08:15Just ghost.
01:08:16Just ghost.
01:08:17Yeah, imagine, what would you have done?
01:08:20Different reality.
01:08:21Imagine I just block you.
01:08:22Everyone on my team just blocks you.
01:08:24And we're just like, yeah, that never happened.
01:08:26What's funny is, like, the day that the finale aired, I was constantly checking my bank account
01:08:32just to make sure I gave you guys the correct info.
01:08:35Oh, wow.
01:08:36Because I was worried I fat-fingered a number because I didn't see it in there that day.
01:08:39So I was like, I was like freaking out.
01:08:42I was like, man, did I fat-finger a number?
01:08:43Like, what if it went to a different account?
01:08:45Like, will I ever get it?
01:08:46Did you see Corey?
01:08:47You guys, you actually sent it to Tyler Conklin, director.
01:08:53Oh, shots.
01:08:54Wrong Tyler.
01:08:54There's too many Tylers, right?
01:08:56Jimmy, any thoughts looking ahead season three or even just this playground you've created
01:09:02from your bedroom, you know, counting to 100,000, bearing yourself alive to now bearing 10 contestants alive.
01:09:10Like, the way you just pushed so many things to create this world in a second season is just incredible.
01:09:17Where's your mind going in the future?
01:09:19And are there any things you learned?
01:09:21Reflections?
01:09:22I remember after season one you told me there's so many things you could do better during the finale.
01:09:27Well, it's interesting because like we just talked about, we filmed this eight months ago.
01:09:30I've seen every episode so many dozens of times in the edit.
01:09:33By the time they drop, like sometimes I'll quote things they say before they say it because I already know
01:09:38because I've watched it so much and I've sat there in the editing room and like,
01:09:41eh, you should make that longer or shorter and stuff like that.
01:09:44So, but in general, I've said this a bazillion times even with you.
01:09:48I think season one, people loved, it was just a little too luck based and people didn't know the contestants
01:09:53as much.
01:09:53I think we definitely fixed that in season two and I think that's partially why you see the subreddit way
01:09:58more active
01:09:58and way more talking about the people as opposed to the games, which is very nice.
01:10:02And I think in season three, I, now that we got rid of the luck, I do think in some
01:10:07of the games
01:10:07it maybe made them slightly more boring and it might not have been as good as they could be.
01:10:12So I want to keep the character development and now just figure out how we, like that first game in
01:10:16season one
01:10:16we're dropping the trap doors, that was crazy.
01:10:19And I would like a couple more big spectacle sets like that that we bring back
01:10:23and figure out how we can, you know, incorporate the storytelling stuff that we really figured out
01:10:27with the characters in season, or contestants, I shouldn't say characters, in season two,
01:10:31but with, you know, some of the bigger sets we had in season one and just kind of mix.
01:10:35Really, I think we have all the puzzle pieces there and now it's just taking the things that worked really
01:10:39well in season one
01:10:39and then taking the things that we tried and worked really exceptionally well in season two
01:10:43and merging them together for season three is kind of how I see it.
01:10:46I don't know if you have any closing thoughts, if you guys have any thoughts to share,
01:10:49but I appreciate you guys for being so open.
01:10:52This felt like a therapy session as much as a reunion.
01:10:55And I know we went to a lot of places, but you guys gave us a lot in this season.
01:11:00So I appreciate you guys and any final thoughts?
01:11:02Jim, you feel like you're itching to say something.
01:11:03Yeah, I just wanted to say thank you again. I feel like I went on this challenge and we did
01:11:09this whole thing
01:11:09and you gave me all this money and I never even got to say thank you.
01:11:13And that bothered me.
01:11:14I appreciate the kind words.
01:11:14That bothered me.
01:11:16I appreciate it. I know you're all grateful.
01:11:18And I'm grateful for you guys coming out.
01:11:20And people really love the show.
01:11:22And so thank you guys.
01:11:22We always all crushed it.
01:11:24Congrats guys.
01:11:25It was great.

01:12:01All right, here we go.
01:12:01There were tons of moments when I was younger where I would cry.
01:12:04Everyone tells me it's not realistic.
01:12:05At the end of the day, I just loved it.
01:12:07And I loved making videos.
01:12:08I loved entertaining people.
01:12:09All four or five that watched it back then.
01:12:1499,000 subscribers off of 400 million.
01:12:17And we're going to see if the highest jumper in the world can jump higher than a tiger.
01:12:20World of record.
01:12:21Can he do it?
01:12:23Oh!
01:12:25You're levitating.
01:12:27We're on set of one of Jimmy's most expensive videos.
01:12:30He's giving away this private jet that's worth over $2 million.
01:12:34If he goes another 100 days, I'll give him half a million dollars.
01:12:37No!
01:12:37Are you doing another 100 days or do you want to go hang out with your family?
01:12:40That's a good one.
01:12:42My schedule is literally playing down to the minute.
01:12:44Jimmy is already sprinting to his next video.
01:12:47You are Freeman!
01:12:49We're in a thumbnail shoot.
01:12:50There's been hours getting everything set up.
01:12:52How much money do you think all of the gear here is worth?
01:12:55It's definitely north of $5 million.
01:12:56How many cameras have you used on a shoot?
01:12:59We were at about 350 individual cameras.
01:13:02Welcome to Survivor!
01:13:03Welcome to Fiji!
01:13:04Just been doing Survivor as long as I've been alive.
01:13:07They've taken this genre and just...
01:13:10Steroids.
01:13:11This is how I think Jimmy sees me.
01:13:13No, I see a little more bent over.
01:13:15Yeah.
01:13:18Do you ever think you'd die when you were doing your YouTube videos?
01:13:21There's 20,000 pounds of dirt on me and if the coffin broke, I was dead.
