00:23:17The rain, the ocean, the blazing sun.
00:23:19And then it dawned on us, nature itself offers a perfect metaphor for what's going to happen

00:23:31entire world pauses to take notice.
00:23:34And that is a total lunar eclipse.
00:23:38That is when the Earth's shadow covers the moon and turns it a deep, foreboding red.

00:23:49Ancient civilizations feared a blood moon.
00:23:52They saw it as a warning, a sign of upheaval, even impending doom.

00:49:53really aggressive form of gameplay which I guess you could describe as being a little bit more akin to
00:49:58the new era but he's so incredibly obvious about it that it's like are you just this oblivious or
00:50:05is this some like 3d chess that you're going on here where you want us to have this perception of
00:50:11you I just can't make sense of it so here's the thing I might open-minded I'm like whatever I'm

00:50:16for whatever you want to do yeah like whatever you need to read coach to be honest me too I
00:50:21think
00:50:21he's going to get better back exactly Colby can leave tomorrow let's get coach out now Colby does
00:50:29have an injury that is seemingly getting worse so in one hand I'm like okay well he put out coach

01:00:35Tiff, we said there's going to be a survivor version of a blood moon, and it's happening.

01:00:45And ironically, one of my favorite video games has a blood moon.
01:00:49When the blood moon happens, all the monsters that you've already killed come back out of
01:00:53the ground, and then they come to, like, kill you.
01:00:55So I have never seen anything like this in my life, Jeff.

01:01:28are you saying is the wise move in terms of this being an opportunity to get the game

01:01:35I think the best move for people tonight is to find a group that they can navigate this
01:01:42massive merge with.
01:01:43Talk to the other people, figure out who they're cool with, who are you cool with, and then
01:01:47go with the people who you feel like you have a password with.
01:01:51Jonathan, where's the opportunity in this massive twist?
01:01:56Well, Mr. Jeff, this is the blood moon, and I think it's a great time to draw a line in
01:02:02the sand and figure out where people stand.
01:02:05And just to add on to what Jonathan said, lines will definitely be drawn tonight, but
01:02:10I also feel it's very important to remember there are people that you might have to answer
01:02:14to.
01:02:15The decisions you make tonight are going to have ripple effects for days to come.

01:03:02Not from a strategy standpoint, just from a player to player, I'm sorry, but you're not

01:03:09I think a lot of us came out of our first seasons with scars.
01:03:13And so, yes, we all want to make it to the jury.
01:03:17But in some sense, coming to 50 was a celebratory season and has given us all redemption.
01:03:25So I think there's a lot of other beautiful things about being on 52.

01:08:10that sometimes it's just the timing and survivor luck,

01:08:25and making sure that you are receptive to people
01:08:27and that you don't close any doors.

01:08:32is that more than anything in the game of Survivor,
01:08:36it is about relationships.

01:08:39You have these relationships you've built
01:08:41over the course of this season,

01:09:10and there's so much emotion in the game.

01:09:14each one of those massively impactful things

01:09:19so we can all try to make the best decision.

01:09:28If there's somebody you don't want on the jury
01:09:30because you don't think they'll vote for you,

01:09:36of having the numbers to make that decision,
01:09:39that would be a strategic way to play it.
01:09:41But I think for some of us, it's just survive.

01:09:53Part of it is I'm not the type of player

01:10:08But sometimes you know that people are working together,
01:10:12and there are underlying webs of relationships
01:10:15and advantages that flow between different people
